I don’t think my dog wants to come home. She’s been spoiled and loved all day. I guess I won’t feel so bad for leaving her from now on. 😅. Zuri was kind, prompt, asked good questions, sent lots of pictures, and loved our girl so well. Could not recommend her any higher.

About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR. My home is in a park filled neighborhood, with many walkable paths! A large, shade filled backyard.

About: What sets me apart is that I treat pets like family, not just a checklist. I pay close attention to their routines, personalities, comfort levels, and little quirks, whether that means giving a shy cat space, keeping a playful pet engaged, or sending updates so you feel reassured while you’re gone. While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. My professional background in high-stress environments has also made me calm, dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. Safety, structure, and trust are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away.

About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for nearly two decades. My attention to detail never goes unnoticed and I am confident in my abilities to comfort your pet(s) by making them feel special and safe! I have experience with all kinds of creatures — dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents/ferrets, fish, and waterfowl, at all stages of life. Yes, even your beloved seniors. I’m a parent/caregiver to a child with disabilities and while that does not affect my ability to care for animals, it can limit some of my time due to my child’s day-to-day needs, appointments, etc. I update my calendar accordingly to reflect my availability. With that said, most of our appointments are virtual or in-home and I am a stay at home mom so I still have plenty of time for pet care. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs and I am always nearby supervising. I allow pets on furniture and treat them just like my own when I’m watching pets in my home. Instructions regarding potty breaks, feeding, kennel time, medications, etc., are always followed if given.

About: Ever since a child I have had an undeniable bond with animals. I’ve worked with all types, birds, horses, dogs, cats, livestock, exotic animals, you name it. Growing up my family was always pet people and they’d say I’m more of a pet person than them all! My schedule is almost always free and ready for you! I own a beautiful 6 year old working line German shepherd, so I specialize in high-energy and protective breeds. I also have experience with low energy dogs, training puppies, and even whelping litters! I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks throughout the week, including weekends, with plenty of time for play, exercise, and companionship. About: Caring for animals comes naturally to me—I have a soft spot for every paw, whisker, curly tail and tiny personality. I’m patient, attentive, and deeply committed to making pets feel safe and understood. I know how important it is to trust someone with your companion, so I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them comfort, consistency, and lots of love. My goal is simple: happy pets and peace of mind for you. I have owned pets my whole childhood and still raise two of my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home for most of the day, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, supervision, and consistent care. My daily routine is very pet-friendly, with plenty of time for walks, play, feeding schedules, and check-ins throughout the day. I have one child in elementary school and a younger child at home with me, so our days are structured but flexible. This means pets are rarely left alone and can be part of a calm, family-oriented environment. I’m mindful of each pet’s needs and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and included throughout the day. I understand the level of trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Every animal has their own comfort level, so I approach each one with patience, attentiveness, and respect for their boundaries. I focus on creating a safe, low-stress environment where they can feel secure and at ease. I’ll provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. I also like to keep pets mentally engaged with simple games, basic training reinforcement (if you’re working on anything), and sticking to their normal routine so they feel secure. Of course, I’ll always follow your instructions and your pet’s needs—whether that’s high-energy fun or a cozy, low-key day at home. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can see all the fun we’re having.

About: I have cared for a wide array of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, insects and amphibians! I have owned many pets over my lifetime, and feel confident in caring for elderly animals and administering medication. I have volunteered at my local vet clinic on multiple occasions, so handling animals prone to stress is also something that I am familiar with Currently I attend community college part time on Mondays, Wednesdays and the weekend. Every other day I will be completely free, and will make it my priority to give your pets all of the time and attention that they deserve! One of my greatest goals, second only to the welfare of your animals, is to ensure that client privacy and boundaries are respected at all times. I will ensure to follow instructions given about the home to the letter.
