About: I've lived my whole life around pets, specifically cats and dogs. My family and friends alike all relied on me for pet sitting care which included regular dog walking and extended, overnight stays. I'm currently not working and only going to school. When I do get a job, it will only be part-time and I'll update my schedule accordingly. As of right now, I have ample time for frequent check-in's and overnight stays, especially in Yamhill County. I unfortunately do not offer pet care at my personal home, but am willing to stay overnight at client's homes. I believe in leaving places better than I found them, AKA no trace left behind!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and in recent years, my family and friends have trusted me to take the very best care of their pets. I’m currently a full time student, and I work part time as well. I’m hoping to earn some extra cash by spending time with some fur babies. I’m available Monday/Wednesday evening, Tuesday before 3pm, and all hours Thursday - Sunday! I strive to make sure all pets I take care of are as comfortable as possible. The safety of your pets is my absolute number one priority.

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. During my five years as a rural letter carrier, I earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" for my ability to befriend even wary farm dogs on my routes. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible schedule while I pursue my Master's in Behavioral Health. I value structure and routine, which makes it easy for me to keep pets on their normal schedule. Spending time with animals is grounding and rewarding. It balances the intensity of my studies and keeps my days centered on care, calm, and connection. I provide attentive and responsible care for pets, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. In my care, I ensure that feeding schedules are followed, environments are clean and secure, and that pets have appropriate stimulation through play or companionship. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of! I am currently of of work for the summer because I work for the school district. I have a lot of extra free time to occupy. About: Hello! I'm Lea, someone who loves and adores pets. Recent undergrad at Purdue who just relocated to Oregon. I live with a veterinarian in training, so I have constant hands on experience with my home life on how to take care of dogs. I am Cat and Dog CPR FIRST AID Certified! I've house sitted for many of dogs when I was younger, so I have much experience with dogs. I’ve also volunteered with the humane society many of times in my free time. I find it very important to care about dogs and give dogs love and attention when their owner can't at the moment. I'm willing to help in anyway with the dogs. I also have a sweet, energized kitty that will keep your fur baby company! If your pet is uncomfortable around other pets, I have a pet gate and an extra bedroom to keep Sushi away. Otherwise if I am your house I will accommodate to any of your rules or needs.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I’m comfortable following each pet’s individual routine, personality, and care instructions, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and believe in responsible, science-based pet care rather than making assumptions about what a pet needs. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with regular photos and short messages, so they know how their pet is doing while they’re away. My goal is simply to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

About: I have experience with house sitting both large and small dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise and care. I also can do plant care as well I currently do doordash and art commissions from home so I have pretty open availability right now! I do have two cats at home so I still need to check in on them as well. I always make sure everything is tidy and that each pet gets equal amount of care. Set daily and weekly routines for them and always check over them to make sure there's nothing abnormal.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 10, varying from my own and other peoples cutie animals, walking, feeding, playing obviously! And just making sure they're all comfy and happy. I'm currently part time so anytime in the afternoon or evenings, I'm pretty flexible at the moment! Not looking to do any overnight sitting though I'm not using my own house to watch pets but whatever the owners have will work. Just paying attention to what they're doing and making sure to clean up and keep everyone happy!

About: I have excellent references with over 20 years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and grooming animals. I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher who works from home so I am available any time during the week to stay over with plenty of breaks to let them out for play and potty time. I’ll be home all day so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. When you put your trust in me, I take that very seriously and anything you need directions wise will be followed since you know your pet best!
