“Arianna was responsive and great with our cat! She sent thorough daily updates and clearly took very good care of our pet while we were gone. We will definitely use her again!”

“Karissa is so kind, personable, reliable, and trustworthy! My usually shy kitty took right to her! Karissa took great care of my little fur princess while I was out of town and I definitely look forward to having her do so again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: If you’re looking for a safe, loving place for your dog while you’re away, I’d love to help! I grew up surrounded by animals on a Japanese maple farm with over 20 horses and lots of dogs, both indoor and working dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I am a student and only have one in-person class this term, giving me lots of availability for quality time with your pup! I live in a cute, quiet neighborhood near a park and walking trail, and I usually go for walks in the mornings and a couple miles before dinner when my partner comes home from work (weather permitting). I’d happily bring your dog along for those little adventures so they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. I believe mental and physical exercise is very important for all breeds! After walks and a lot of playing, I make sure to keep track of any supplements and food schedules needed (usually by setting reminders and alarms on my phone) I also know how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I like to send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. If you have any questions or want to chat about your dog’s specific needs, feel free to reach out. I’d love to meet you both!
“Alisha took care of my golden retriever while I was away for a long weekend. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and gave me so much ease leaving my baby!! Very responsible and great with my dog! Highly recommend”

“We had a lovely experience with Britney! She came to our house to look after our two dogs for a very last minute trip we took. Even on short notice she was prompt to reply to us and came over same day! We were very happy with the attention and care she showed our dogs. We will definitely be using her again!”
About: Hi there! I am a fun, genuine, pet lover who loves animals with my whole heart, especially dogs. I have had multiple pets my whole life and am very well versed in taking care of animals. I have been caring for pets professionally for about 6 years taking care of and pet sitting for friends, family and on care websites. I am very flexible with rates, hours, and needs of animals and no job is too gross or taxing that I can’t figure out. I truly love that I get to care for animals AND get paid doing it, it honestly feels like a dream. Let me know if you are interested in considering me to take care of your sweet fur babies, I’d love to tell you more!
About: PLEASE READ: I currently work in McMinnville so while I am able to pet sit, unless you live within 15 minutes of McMinnville, I will be unable to let animals out in the middle of the day. I've been caring for friends and family's pets for 6 years. I like keeping our furry friends on their schedule and company while loved ones are away. I'm comfortable giving medication and taking care of senior pets. I'm detail oriented and am happy to give status updated as needed. I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they were one of mine. I currently work full time so while I am able to pet sit and do walks, it would need to be close enough to do on my hour lunch break., Currently I prefer to care for pets at their own home, as I feel that being in the same environment helps being with a new person
About: I have grown up always having pets and each one of them impacted my life greatly! I also started pet sitting for my neighbors at a young age and have continued pet sitting ever since. I have hands on experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, temperaments, and needs. I am also comfortable caring for multiple pets at once. Additionally, the past two years I lived with someone with a dog and watched him for her frequently when she was traveling. I am very comfortable living with someone else’s pet and capable of adapting my daily schedule to fit their needs. I am currently in grad school with a tight budget and cannot afford my own pet right now (despite wanting one SO bad), so I adore any opportunities I get to give some love to one. I always connect very quickly with any pets I meet and I know your dog(s)/cat(s) and I will get along great! I am also happy to care for any other pets you may have as I have experience with a wide range of pets and I really love all animals! (though if it’s a spider you may have to convince me) I am currently job and internship hunting while doing school work for my graduate school program, so my schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of time to put towards pet care. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions to keep their routine as normal as possible and minimize stress while you’re away. I want every pet I care for to feel secure and respected, so I pay close attention their cues when it comes to personal space and affection. That way, I can give them the right amount of attention to help them feel comfortable and loved. I also promise to treat your home with the same care and respect, keeping it clean and just as you left it.
“I feel confident leaving my cats in Jaime’s care. They are shy cats, but she takes time to engage (if they are willing), and Jaime gives me daily feedback regarding their activity or pictures of them hiding.”

About: I have over 4 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant, where I've cared for pets of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a nursing student, I'm dependable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I strive to provide safe, loving, and personalized care while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a veterinary assistant, caring for animals is already a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. As a nursing student, I stay organized and plan my schedule carefully, allowing me to provide reliable care, walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration if needed, and plenty of attention for each pet. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. With over 4 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I am confident handling pets of all sizes and temperaments and can recognize signs of stress or illness. I always follow owners' instructions closely to maintain each pet's normal routine. Whether caring for pets in my client's home or during walks and drop-in visits, I provide attentive, compassionate care and treat every pet as if they were my own.
About: All my life I’ve been surrounded by dogs, and their company has always brought me so much joy. I truly believe everyone deserves the happiness a dog brings. I currently live with four cats, one of which is named Ricki — who honestly acts like a dog himself and loves going on walks and car rides. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, and dogs who experience seizures. I love taking pups on walks (weather permitting), going to dog parks so they can socialize, and giving them plenty of love and mental stimulation. I’m a strong believer in animal rights and I never take their trust for granted. Their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first with me. Rover is an amazing way to find someone you trust with your best friend, and I would love the chance to care for and look after your pet like they’re part of my family. I live right in town with a reliable car, which makes traveling to and from jobs easy. I currently work a couple of part-time jobs, but I’m able to schedule pet care around them with plenty of availability. I’m flexible, responsive, and able to make mid-day visits, morning/evening drop-ins, or full days depending on what your pet needs. When caring for pets in my home, I always keep the space clean, safe, and comfortable. I make sure animals have fresh water, the right amount of food, and a calm environment. Cats always have clean litter, and dogs get supervised outdoor time and structured care. In a client’s home, I follow all routines exactly as instructed and treat your space with respect. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first.
About: Cats and Dogs have filled my house ever since I could remember. I have helped care for neighbors and family members animals over the years and helped maintained their safety and health. Taking them for walks, giving them snuggles and a bath when needed. I have been around dogs of all breeds and am very comfortable with them all. Needless to say, almost every animal I’ve been around has adored me just as much as I adore them. Your pets are promised safe hands when cared by me. I just graduated college and am working to start a business so am looking for side gigs to do that will allow me to continue to work simultaneously. I love pets and will be home for the next year so have an open book for watching pets. In my clients home I would be very mindful of the pets environment and take them for walks along with feeding and snuggling afterwards or beforehand. Respecting my clients property and accomplishing my job safely and responsibly.
“Megan did a fantastic job watching my three dogs for me. She met with us all prior to our booking so she can get an interaction with the dogs before being alone in the house. I was really impressed with the communication, and reporting back on things she observed with them and their interactions. I would recommend Megan for peace of mind with your animals. My dogs already are excited when I say her name.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and grew up with hunting dogs and know how to train a dog for scent training and perform tasks. I currently have a Pit Bull Mix and Pug with two very different personalities. I’ve done plenty of house sitting with dogs for various people in the community and am furthering my education on animal behavior and dog training organizations. I have created my own personal Business “Groovy Dogs Training” for Yamco area and am using this platform to build some outreach. I’d love to get to know you and your dog and help benefit both your lives 💜 Tuesday -Saturday I work afternoon/evening so I am looking for Morning hours from 7:30-12:00 on those days Sunday- Tuesday I am available all hours and can even do late night checks. I always try to get a sense of what routine you and your dog do best with. Does your dog need to chill out before going on a walk I gotchu or needs to let out some energy with toy enrichment or fetch I can do that! Just let me know what works best for your fur baby or I can even help you when it comes to deciding that 💕

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in McMinnville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
