About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. It’s important that all animals feel safe and respected around me. I’m not easily startled by reactive animals, all it takes is a little time to grow comfort.
About: PLEASE READ: I currently work in McMinnville so while I am able to pet sit, unless you live within 15 minutes of McMinnville, I will be unable to let animals out in the middle of the day. I've been caring for friends and family's pets for 6 years. I like keeping our furry friends on their schedule and company while loved ones are away. I'm comfortable giving medication and taking care of senior pets. I'm detail oriented and am happy to give status updated as needed. I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they were one of mine. I currently work full time so while I am able to pet sit and do walks, it would need to be close enough to do on my hour lunch break., Currently I prefer to care for pets at their own home, as I feel that being in the same environment helps being with a new person
“Michelle did a spectacular job caring for our sweet kitty. Communication was excellent, we received lovely updates every day and we arrived home to a very happy cat. We had such great peace of mind through our trip knowing our girl was being so well cared for at home. Thank you, Michelle!!”
“Jaime did a great job looking in on my two shy kitties, and making sure they had plenty of food and water. She went above and beyond seeking out the cats and sending me a picture of them under the bed; it was reassurance that I left my cats in good hands while I was away.”

About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats for about 9 years now and feel comfortable around most breeds and temperaments. I started out by pet sitting for friends/family and now I’m hoping to help out our community as well by being reliable, timely, and friendly face for your pets! 🐾 I work basically full-time 5 days a week, so I typically am gone from 8:30-4:30 depending on the day. If preferred, I can absolutely check in and care for your babies during my lunch break! After work, I can provide unlimited playtime and snuggles! 🐾 As your sitter, I will ensure your pets feel like they have a new best friend! My top priority is making sure your babies are safe and comfortable while also having a blast!
“Alisha took care of my golden retriever while I was away for a long weekend. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and gave me so much ease leaving my baby!! Very responsible and great with my dog! Highly recommend”

“Rebecca has been awesome! The girls took to her immediately and she was wonderful with them. We gave her a new front door key and it turned out to be problematic. Rebecca was able to get it to work and to keep the house locked tight. I will definitely request Rebecca in the future!”

About: I have had animals much of my life and have always been a responsible caretaker. I enjoy the company, love and unwavering affection of animals and strive to provide that in return. I'm currently working part-time allowing me the flexibility to walk, play and hang out with your pet(s). My availability is daily for walks and some drop in visits. Let's work together to find a plan that fits everyone's needs! I treat all animals and humans with dignity and respect. I honor the clients feelings and will do my very best to show the client their pet is in good hands. All animals will be cared for as if they are my own.
About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!
About: Cats and Dogs have filled my house ever since I could remember. I have helped care for neighbors and family members animals over the years and helped maintained their safety and health. Taking them for walks, giving them snuggles and a bath when needed. I have been around dogs of all breeds and am very comfortable with them all. Needless to say, almost every animal I’ve been around has adored me just as much as I adore them. Your pets are promised safe hands when cared by me. I just graduated college and am working to start a business so am looking for side gigs to do that will allow me to continue to work simultaneously. I love pets and will be home for the next year so have an open book for watching pets. In my clients home I would be very mindful of the pets environment and take them for walks along with feeding and snuggling afterwards or beforehand. Respecting my clients property and accomplishing my job safely and responsibly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
