I think I was more nervous than my dogs being that this is the first time they’ve ever been boarded anywhere I was sent pictures all throughout their stay and my puppy Oliver really opened up while he was there. We cannot watch cats in our home, but are happy to do drop in visits in your home to play with and care for them. We do accept dogs in our home for care. We have a fenced in backyard for lots of playtime, and fields and parks nearby for longer walks and play. We currently have two cats, so your dog must do well with cats to stay in our home. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! The current fluff ball in my house (housemates pup) is my first time regularly looking after a smaller dog but she’s kinda a big dog in a little body as she loves getting out for walks and trail runs just as my as my shepherd did. If it is in Newberg , I take a lunch break where I can relieve/ check in on the pets, as well as my partner, meaning they would not be alone longer than 2 hours at a time! I am off and available weekends full time, with summer, holiday, and other type of breaks! The specific care depends on the needs, but our home is welcomed to any fur baby, meaning they have access to any space ! We have a fenced yard, with lots of room to roam, play and run around in! They will always be with a human watching or cuddling them .

About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. About: I have had dogs since I was extremely little! Taking care of them has always been something I loved to do, through that love that grew I found a job at a dog daycare and worked there for a while until I moved and I absolutely loved it. It gave me a lot of hands on experience with hundreds of different dogs, big and small, easy and hard. No dog is too challenging with the right kind of love and attention! I currently work full time during the week so I would be available for weekends after 10 and before 4! I have a lot going on during the weekdays so weekend work best for me! Making sure I always have a tight grip on the leash and also making sure the dog is comfortable with me are two really big things when walking dogs, and what’s most important to me. “My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. Tomorrow will be the start of a 13 day house sitting and we feel confident about the whole thing knowing that Milo will not be neglected. We’re glad we came across her at Rover. When I turned 18 I got myself a puppy. I have trained and taken care of her for the past 7 years! My friends and family often come to me and ask me to help when their dogs are misbehaving because of how well my dog is trained. I have dog sat many times over the years and figured I should get paid for it now. I work a full-time compressed schedule. Due to this I always have 3-4 days off a week. I think I was more nervous than my dogs being that this is the first time they’ve ever been boarded anywhere I was sent pictures all throughout their stay and my puppy Oliver really opened up while he was there.
