About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. It’s important that all animals feel safe and respected around me. I’m not easily startled by reactive animals, all it takes is a little time to grow comfort.
About: I've lived my whole life around pets, specifically cats and dogs. My family and friends alike all relied on me for pet sitting care which included regular dog walking and extended, overnight stays. I'm currently not working and only going to school. About: TLDR - I have experience with many types of pets with varying needs. I have two kids (ages 12 and 14) and many other creatures in the home. I am available for drops ins and walks, but longer term engagements would have to be at my home. I have a fully fenced yard and can welcome a dog to come stay in my home. I have previous obedience training experience and have taken three dogs to state for obedience competition. I have house trained many puppies, so I'm happy to support an owner in the trenches of the puppy years. I am available for weekend visits and walks every day. Over the years, I have cared for dogs and cats with varying medical and behavioral needs. From cats needing injections to highly reactive dogs neesing a calm presence, I have expertly cared for them all. I have two daughters, aged 12 and 14, who have lived their life around pets of all sorts and love to come with me when I am visiting a dog or cat. If you are not comfortable having them in your home, or your pet is not comfortable with kids, that is totally understandable.
