About: PLEASE READ: I currently work in McMinnville so while I am able to pet sit, unless you live within 15 minutes of McMinnville, I will be unable to let animals out in the middle of the day. I've been caring for friends and family's pets for 6 years. I like keeping our furry friends on their schedule and company while loved ones are away. I'm comfortable giving medication and taking care of senior pets. I'm detail oriented and am happy to give status updated as needed. I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they were one of mine. I currently work full time so while I am able to pet sit and do walks, it would need to be close enough to do on my hour lunch break., Currently I prefer to care for pets at their own home, as I feel that being in the same environment helps being with a new person
About: Iâve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and currently have multiple pets of my own, so I understand daily routines, behavior, and individual needs. Iâm patient, attentive, and treat every pet like family. Iâm comfortable with puppies, senior pets, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, and providing lots of love and reassurance while youâre away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins to ensure pets receive consistent, reliable care and attention. I prioritize safety and comfort by following each petâs routine closely, maintaining a clean environment, and respecting the home. I monitor behavior, secure doors and leashes, and provide calm, attentive care at all times
âMaleny has done two drop in visits for me so far and she has been great. Super punctual even though the time is not that important to me. Takes lots of pictures and gives me great updates. She provides a lot of peace of mind to me when Iâm gone at work for long days. Grateful for her service!â

âErica was WONDERFUL! She responded promptly to our last minute request for a drop-in visit for our pup, Olive. Erica sent us updates about the visit with photos! We hope to use Ericaâs services again in the future. I submit my highest recommendationâ

âCherith was just what I needed! She dropped in exactly for the requested times, fed my pup, and gave her some attention in the middle of a long span where sheâd be alone at home. Thank you so much for your help!!â

âMichelle is the absolute best! My husband and I have rebooked her several times now, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our cats. Our cats are very particular, and Michelle is fantastic with them. She is clearly amazing with animals and knows how to make them comfortable, but she's also excellent at making sure that everything is done correctly for them. We've used her services during both short trips and also really long vacations and I always feel so reassured knowing our cats are in such excellent hands.â

About: Thereâs nothing I love more than animals! I have personally taken care of and owned a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, parakeets and poultry. I have lots of experience handling and administering medication to dogs, cats and rabbits. I am a college student home for the summer so my schedule is quite flexible. Send me a message and we can work something out! I live on an acre lot where my two large dogs and cat roam freely both inside and outside. They share the yard with 5 chickens, a goose, and a duck who live comfortably in a large coop. Dogs are taken on walks regularly, fed twice a day and loved on always! Pets of all shapes and sizes are well loved, socialized and kept safe.

âJavier is a positive and gentle person to have around my old dog. He has been patient with him and has gone over and above with caring for him while Iâm a way I appreciated the time he spent with me to help my dog be more comfortable with him. (My dog had a recent trauma.) I recommend him highly.â

âSarah is amazing with my two dogs, she is very reliable and prompt as a sitter with Rover. This was my first experience using Rover and it was a huge success. My four legged fur babies absolutely loved the e time she spent with them.â

About: I grew up with a dog, and have always lived with either a dog or cat as an adult. My heart just fills with joy when I am around all four legged friends. I currently work full time as a pediatric medical assistant, but would be happy to come by after work to take care of any sweet dog or cat. Currently do not take care of of animals at my current residence as I am living with family who prefers to be pet free, but I am happy to come to you!
About: Iâve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I have taken care of friendsâ & familiesâ dogs and cats when they are in need of the support! My familyâs dog, Rory, currently takes medication, needs brushing & bathing, and loves plenty of walks and cuddles. My cat Jude is sweet and sassy and loves to play. I would be more than happy to help out with your dog or cat, in any way! I am a graduate student, and have class from 8am-2pm Monday through Thursday during the month of May. I am available in the evenings. In June-August, I have much more availability- with the exception of Mondays and Tuesdays. However you typically care for your pet, I want to model that in the best way I can, ensuring they feel loved and cared for when their parent is not available.
âAbsolutely Amazing pet sitter! Astrid gave constant feedback, so many pictures. I need to know that my babies are happy and safe and I felt completely confident that they were very well taken care. Please take this review as my recommendation to hire Astrid.â

âI needed a last-minute early check-in because my travel plans changed due to weather conditions. Mickayla was able to stop by early in the morning to check on my dog and cat, feed them, and take my dog on a potty break. She sent me photos and gave me an update on how the check-in went. She provided house-sitting services previously, and I have been extremely happy with the care she has provided. She is a stellar Rover sitter and I highly recommend Mickayla for house-siting and drop-in services. She treats your home and your pets as if they were her own.â

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,916 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Saint Paul. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, donât forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Saint Paul. On Rover:
- 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
