He was also kind enough to water our plants and did a thorough clean of the house prior to our return. His daily photo updates were deeply appreciated. About: I am a nature and animal enthusiast. I began caring for animals in high school giving me 10+ years of experience taking care of animals. From house sitting, dog walking to administering medications, I have had the opportunity to care for so many different animals. I have taken care of pets in the comfort of their own home which always seems like the most stress-free option. I love to take pictures of sweet squishy faces. I am available most of the day/night to care for your pets in your home to best meet the needs of both the owner and pet. I have one dog (Banjo) who will be cared for by my husband so I can focus on your pets. With my background in veterinary clinics, safety is my number one priority. I make sure pets are safe in the home, that they are maintained on a secure leash during walks, avoid encounters with other dogs/animals during walks, I check to make sure there is no access to items that could harm them, and pay attention to overall general health. I believe for the most part the safest environment for a pet is in their own home where they are comfortable.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and hands-on experience caring for pets of different ages and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I also volunteered for two years at the Santa Fe Humane Society, where I gained experience working with a variety of dogs and learned how to stay patient, attentive, and calm in different situations. I’m reliable, caring, and focused on making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine because I have a dog of my own, so I’m used to regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets consistent attention throughout the day. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my weekly schedule. I care for pets by making sure they stay comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine as much as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any special routines their pet is used to. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they feel relaxed while their owners are away.

“My whole experience with Mona from start to finish was excellent. She came to my home for a meet and greet right away. She is friendly, smart, efficient, kind, and respectful. She had a good sense of humor about dealing with the four spoiled cats. She called it “herding cats”. She took perfect care of my home, and even brought her own sheets and towels! About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 12. I grew up with cats and dogs and used to pet sit regularly for family and friends, including a husky puppy and eldery great danes. I love taking dogs on long walks/hikes and also cuddling! I work seasonally and don't start my job until May, so I'm very available! I do part-time tutoring as well but I'm generally free.
