About: I am a nature and animal enthusiast. I began caring for animals in high school giving me 10+ years of experience taking care of animals. From house sitting, dog walking to administering medications, I have had the opportunity to care for so many different animals. I have taken care of pets in the comfort of their own home which always seems like the most stress-free option. I love to take pictures of sweet squishy faces. My goal is to maintain a calm, consistent presence so pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For in home drop-ins, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean up, medications if needed, and quality time with each pet. I tailor each visit to the pet’s energy level and personality including playtime, short walks, or quiet companionship. I also provide updates after each visit so owners feel connected and reassured. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I prioritize leash safety, positive reinforcement, and a calm walking experience. Walks can include neighborhood routes or familiar areas your dog enjoys, or local dog parks, and I always ensure they return home settled, hydrated, and comfortable.

“David is simply the best! We came to Santa Fe from Denver for a few days (Monday-Thursday) and we have 7 and 8 year old Border Terriers. Our male has epilepsy, and we do not leave him alone, so we hired David to watch them. David came on Monday night, Tuesday day, Tuesday night, Wednesday day and Wednesday night so that we could go out to dinner, go to the spa, etc. He stayed for several hours at a time, which was a big ask, especially since he has his own pup, but we couldn't ask for a better experience with him. He arrived on time or early, walked them, played with them, administered medications, gave them snacks and loved them! He sent us lots of videos and photos and updates, so we knew they were being taken care of and meds given, etc. He is also just a lovely person, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. He has a calming energy which was great for my boy with epilepsy. We won't hesitate to use him again if we go back to Santa Fe. Thank you so much David!”

About: I volunteered for the internship at Save A Dog in Sudbury, Mass., back in 2020. Helped them clean and gave plenty of lovely attention. I also dog-sat several dogs for four years during college and experienced house-sitting for a lovely couple for three weeks in summer 2024. I love doing my job as I treat them as my own. I will make sure dogs have a blast time and are loved while they are with me. I over-communicate by sending updated texts and pictures, or videos. I would say you come to the right dog sitter here who loves dogs like crazy. Since I got a full-time job on night shifts, I am only available during the weekdays until around 2 and weekends (sometimes for the week!) for any service, I will have enough time to adore and care for your pets. Unless you are okay with leaving your dog with my dog, while I go away for work and my partner will be home at 4:30-5 pm so he can take care of the dogs too (he is also a Rover sitter!) - that is cool with me too. My dog would love the company! I would be more than happy to comply with your request as well. I also have my sweetest 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and 1-year-old dachshund mix who loves playing or cuddling with others. I am more than happy to accommodate your pets smoothly if needed. Both of my pups are social butterflies! Let me know if you have more questions. About: I traveled in a van for many years and before I got Richard, I cared for over twenty dogs of all sizes and temperaments all over the country. I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. About: I’ve been trusted to take care of a family member’s dogs for at least ten years. This involved caring for three dogs in the same home for the bulk of that time. I have been her go-to dog sitter and someone that can do a quick drop in during long work days. In the past few years I have gotten a dog of my own, and I primarily look after him during the day while my family members are busy with other responsibilities. I’m on the job hunt, so I currently have a very flexible schedule! On weekdays I won’t be able to stay full time at a house (as I have responsibilities at home to take care of), but I can visit frequently and stay for a few hours at a time if need be.
