If your dog uses a crate or has specific containment preferences, I’m happy to follow whatever routine feels most familiar and supportive for them. – I live on a quiet, peaceful street in a safe neighborhood, with access to a beautiful nearby walking path. I offer structured, mindful walks that are tailored to each dog’s comfort level, energy, and needs. – I care for every dog as an individual and follow your established routines as closely as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and overall environment safety, and I always communicate clearly if anything out of the ordinary comes up. – For daycare and boarding, I provide clean, comfortable orthopedic bedding suitable for small, medium, and large dogs. I also keep extra leashes, dog wipes, poop bags, plant-based deodorizing pet spray, toys, and a ChuckIt ball set on hand. – My goal is to offer a clean, nurturing, low-stress environment where your dog feels relaxed, secure, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

“David is simply the best! We came to Santa Fe from Denver for a few days (Monday-Thursday) and we have 7 and 8 year old Border Terriers. Our male has epilepsy, and we do not leave him alone, so we hired David to watch them. David came on Monday night, Tuesday day, Tuesday night, Wednesday day and Wednesday night so that we could go out to dinner, go to the spa, etc. He stayed for several hours at a time, which was a big ask, especially since he has his own pup, but we couldn't ask for a better experience with him. He arrived on time or early, walked them, played with them, administered medications, gave them snacks and loved them! He sent us lots of videos and photos and updates, so we knew they were being taken care of and meds given, etc. He is also just a lovely person, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. He has a calming energy which was great for my boy with epilepsy. We won't hesitate to use him again if we go back to Santa Fe. Thank you so much David!”

About: I volunteered for the internship at Save A Dog in Sudbury, Mass., back in 2020. Helped them clean and gave plenty of lovely attention. I also dog-sat several dogs for four years during college and experienced house-sitting for a lovely couple for three weeks in summer 2024. I love doing my job as I treat them as my own. I will make sure dogs have a blast time and are loved while they are with me. I over-communicate by sending updated texts and pictures, or videos. I would say you come to the right dog sitter here who loves dogs like crazy. Since I got a full-time job on night shifts, I am only available during the weekdays until around 2 and weekends (sometimes for the week!) for any service, I will have enough time to adore and care for your pets. Unless you are okay with leaving your dog with my dog, while I go away for work and my partner will be home at 4:30-5 pm so he can take care of the dogs too (he is also a Rover sitter!) - that is cool with me too. My dog would love the company! I would be more than happy to comply with your request as well. I also have my sweetest 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and 1-year-old dachshund mix who loves playing or cuddling with others. I am more than happy to accommodate your pets smoothly if needed. Both of my pups are social butterflies! Let me know if you have more questions.
