“Dorit was the BEST!! Our cat loved her right away. She took such good care of him and we didn’t worry a bit. She was in touch with us every day with notes and pictures. She went above and beyond and stayed longer than required to play with Bob and keep him company. We hope to use her every time we go away. Thank you Dorit!!”

About: I've been pet sitting for my family as long as I can remember. My parents have always had pets, so I've spent my entire life caring for many different animals. I have experience caring after dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and small mammals such as bunnies and rats. I am also knowledgeable about reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates though I have never personally owned any. I am self employed so I am completely open to any time a pet sitter is needed. I am available at all hours of the day and on short notice if you are in a rush! I try my best to create a safe and clean environment for any animal. I will follow any instructions given to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible!

About: I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so spending time with animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities taught me that every animal has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust goes into leaving a furry family member with someone else. That's why I take the time to stick to their routine, pay attention to the little details, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you're away. Whether they're full of energy, a little timid, or simply happiest relaxing at home, I'll meet them where they are and treat them like part of my own family. My goal is for you to return to a happy companion and feel confident knowing they were in caring, dependable hands. Fortunately, the summer schedule has allowed me to be wide open for any boarding and day drop ins as needed. Plus, I have my own animals, so pet care is an everyday routine in my household. I have a large fenced in yard and a goofy doggo to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog and/or mine if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes & needs for friends, family, anyone who needs it for several years now! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and no matter who’s they are, I treat them all like my own. I’m currently working part-time, only on weekends for the most part, so I have lots of time on my hands to take care of your fuzzy friends. I have two sweet pets currently, a small dog and a cat, that can easily be separated from your pet if they are staying in my home!

“Avery was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my dog and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Communication was excellent, she sent thoughtful updates, looked after my home as if it were her own, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.”

About: Hello! I have just moved down to Plymouth from NH where I have been caring for neighborhood pets since I was a child. I am a mom of two young boys and a big goofy black lab named Larry. I love to take walks with my dog and stroller and would love to add your dog along too! I am also able to dog sit for weekends, vacations, whatever need be! Please feel free to reach out and schedule me for whatever your pet family needs. I am free to watch, walk, or care for dogs whenever needed! In the fall I will be teaching so my time will be more limited. I live in a town park with many walking/hiking trails for dogs to explore! There are also plenty of swimming holes for any dogs who are water lovers! I plan to walk with my stroller and baby. I do have my own black lab who loves other dogs who can walk with us or stay home if you prefer! For dog sitting however there are children in the home and my dog but we welcome any family friendly pups!
About: Hello! My name is Caitlin, and I bring more than 12 years of veterinary experience to every pet I care for. Working as a veterinary technician gave me the opportunity to care for animals of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs, and it deepened my passion for helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience caring for senior pets, puppies and kittens, anxious animals, and pets requiring special attention due to medical conditions or mobility challenges. I am comfortable administering medications and monitoring pets closely to ensure they remain happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your beloved pet. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care that keeps your pet’s routine as normal as possible. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience and reassurance, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits and am available between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Every visit includes plenty of attention, affection, and communication, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring and experienced hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! My days are structured around my daughter’s school schedule, which gives me plenty of time during weekday mornings and early afternoons for walks, drop-in visits, or cat care. I focus on a few pets at a time so each one gets my full attention and gentle, loving care. Evenings are family time, but I’m happy to accommodate occasional evening or weekend visits for regular clients. Whether it’s a quiet cat who just needs company or a dog who loves a mid-day adventure, I make sure every visit is peaceful, safe, and full of affection. Your pets will be cared for like family — with kindness, intuition, and reliable communication. I provide loving, reliable care in your pet’s own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. Staying in their familiar environment helps reduce stress and keeps their routines consistent — meals, walks, playtime, and cuddles just the way they like them. Because I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for over 12 years, I’m confident caring for pets of all ages and personalities, including those who may be shy, senior, or need medication. I take time to learn each animal’s rhythm and make sure they feel secure while you’re away. My goal is for you to return home to a relaxed, happy pet — cared for with patience, compassion, and the same attention I’d give my own.

“Alison was great checking in on my cat while I was away for a few days. She was excellent in her communication and giving me updates on how he was doing, and I felt like he was in great hands. I will definitely be using her again next time he needs watching.”

“We were so happy to have Alex stop by for an hour visit with our dog while we were away at a graduation party. Ruby looked like she had a great time and it made a difference to know that she had a break from being in her crate.”

“Julie is great with my pups! She gave the 10 week old puppy the extra care and attention he needed while also giving my 5 year old dog tons of love and affection! We can’t wait to see her again!”

About: Hi! My name is Abby and I am 36 years old. I work from home Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. I have been watching pets since I was a kid! My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. At times I would also babysit my sister’s chihuahua mix overnight. I had two cats for about 10 years.I also own two sugar gliders. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. Pets and children are my specialty. I love all animals even if I am allergic to most of them :). I work from home mon-fri 7am-3pm. My dog gets me out of the house and if she has a friend to walk with or visit, it would be a fun playdate for her as well! I have given meds to both my cats since they are seniors. My sister’s dog had pills she had to take as well, which i would do when i babysat her. I am pretty easy going with what i need to do for who ever asks me to watch their pets because I care about what they need. I am the girl at a friends house playing with their cat and dog most of the time.

“Katelyn is sweet and clearly loves animals. She was very flexible with setting up a meet & greet prior to booking anything. She took to my new puppy right away and vice versa. She is very attentive to the fact that he is in the beginning stages of training (crate/potty training, leash walking, etc). She is capable of handling this and much more. Would certainly recommend and look forward to having her check in with my little guy in the future.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
