About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting regularly for the past four years for three wonderful families! About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I have a background in psychology, and I’m a dog trainer and a bit of a behaviorist. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). About: this is my first time using a professional app for dog sitting, I have always helped animals at any local party/event I've gone too. Even if I am not asked to, I ask attendees if I can fill up food/water bowls, give them walks, tend to their needs, whatever to take off the hosts mind. I'm currently working part time !
