Availability
***Currently, I am booked with recurring walks at 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM on the weekdays. Recently, I have become available for 30 minute recurring walks between 6 AM to 10 AM and 5 PM to 10 PM Monday through Friday. I also offer Drop in visits for cats and/or dogs on the weekdays and weekends and I do house sitting for dogs and/or cats. With house sitting, I can't stay with your pet(s) 24/7. I do work full time with Rover, I may need to step out for about 4 to 5 hours at a time to care for other pets that have already scheduled or recurring drop ins/walks. If I need to stay most of the time, for example with a puppy or a dog and/or cat with special needs, I would require advance notice so that I may keep my calendar open for that period of time. There will also be an extra charge as I would be spending more time in your home. Over night stays will include feedings and 3 to 4 walks a day, cuddles, and playtime. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the house sitting process. Caring for pets brings me immense joy and I am always looking forward to spending time with all the little buddies! ****Please be aware that I do have a cancellation policy for house sitting and drop-in services: -For Drop-ins and walks I ask for a three day advanced notification: You would get a full refund if you cancel by noon 3 days before the stay starts. After that, there will be a 50% refund on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that. -For house sitting, I ask for a seven day notification: You get a full refund if you cancel by noon one week before the stay starts. After that, there will be a 50% refund on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that.

Safety, trust & environment
I pay a lot of attention to my cat; lots of playing and cuddling. She loves to play "fetch" with pipe cleaners. I also sometimes spoil her with little cardboard buildings that satisfy my creative energy and her need to be in a box. When I visit your dog or cat I will make sure to play and/or give pettings depending on their mood. If need be, I can take it slow with your little cat or dog friend and allow them to choose whether they want to approach me when they are comfortable. We can schedule a meet and greet prior to the service date so I can meet your pet with you there. This also creates an opportunity to learn where their belongings are and show me their routine. I will not push them to interact with me if they are shy but I will take care of their needs and give them love when they are ready. I will, of course, attempt to form some type of bond if they give me the chance! 🐶😺I am very patient and know it can sometimes take time to form a relationship. ****A note about administering medication**** I can give medication to pets but I may have a hard time restraining them in order to get them to take their medication. If medication must be administered manually, (holding a pet still and placing it in their mouth) I would like to ask that we schedule an hour visit as it can be hard work to get them to take the medication. I would be willing to try and see if I can administer medication during the meet and greet.
Information Cathalina M. would like to know about your pet
Please fill me in on any special needs including: -General Temperament (Friendly upfront or timid at first, etc.) -Reaction to other dogs -Reaction to other people -Preferred treat/specific allergens to avoid -Any other information helpful to ensure safety and a good bond
A typical day
For the pups, I will always begin with a big friendly hello and give them some love. Then we can get right into a nice stroll at the pace your pup likes to adventure with. I will make sure they enjoy stretching their legs while also getting a good sniff on. My 30 minute walks are usually about a mile long with all the sniffing and stopping going on (which is no problem to me, of course). I often let them lead the way as this is their walk. For my kitties, they get lots of love and cuddles, wet and/or dry food, a clean litter box, and fresh water. We can definitely play too if they are feeling up to it. And, if they are ok with it, they would get plenty of pettings!!

Provider of loving care
Pet care experience
I kept the company of two wonderful large breed dogs for 10+ years. We also had temporary guests in the form of three feral cats that I socialized and cared for until they found other homes. Currently, I bask in the glory of my Kitty Baby love, Miss Jamillia. I also help care for my roommate's dog and cat, Ginger and Reishi, when she is away.

Reviews

Cathalina was super responsive and always communicated clearly. She took great care of our kitty and we came home to a happy pet.

Excellent and thoughtful help from Cathalina as always!

Cathy is the best! I will always trust her with my kitty!
Cathalina was great! She took care of our skiddish elderly cat and even fed my son's goldfish for him. She was very communicative and sent great recaps after each visit. We would definitely reach out to her again the next time we're away.
