“Jennevy is amazing! One of my dogs is a rescue and very challenging, he doesn’t like anyone and can be aggressive. She won him over, and he doesn’t even bark at her anymore. I felt very comfortable leaving my fur babies in her care, I trusted her completely. She’s very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior, and very conscientious and concerned for their well being. This was my first time leaving them with a stranger and she passed with flying colors. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

About: Blessed with 3 big dogs back at home and couldn’t love them more(Murphy, Millie and Miley). I have also dog sat for multiple friends when they’ve needed to travel and find it so rewarding! Big or small I would love to take care of your fur baby like I would my own. I’m currently free for the summer and would love to get out and do something for others! I’m hoping to fill my days with animals. I love to hike and be outside so having company would be a welcomed treat! Would treat your family like I’d treat my own. Not scared to be firm but fair. I’m big on following instructions so whatever rules you have for your household I can take care of your pet in the way you want.

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs most of my life. My neighbors had 2 cats I used to watch and I would play with them, make sure their food and water is filled and empty the litterboxes. I'm currently working remotely and have the flexibility to fit varying needs upon request. In a workweek, ideally I'd like to limit services to dog walking or a drop in visit. On weekends I have more flexibility as I'm not working and can devote more time and attention to your pets so we're happy. I love being active and outside and my preferred form of service would be dog walking but also enjoy being inside with a pet too. I live in a condo, there is a lot of space to pet sit and I would like to know what your needs are before any boarding or sitting. I know an unfamiliar space can make some pets nervous, if house sitting or a drop in visit is preferred, I can also do that to make sure the pets are comfortable. During the work day, I would be able to take breaks every 2-4 hours to make sure attention is given the dog/cat and while working I'd keep an eye on them to make sure they're doing well. Every hour I like to take a short couple minute break and during this time, I'll play with your pet.

“Melanie is awesome! She and our cat Ruxin got along great. Melanie went above and beyond when caring for our pet and the daily updates definitely made us feel like our cat was in good hands.”

About: I’ve dedicated my life to animals. Whether they have fur or scales I love them all. I started working in kennels then proceeded to work in the veterinary field then switched to grooming. I landed in veterinary medicine again, my passion. I’m skilled in injections, if your fur baby needs insulin or subcutaneous fluids, I’m your girl. If all they need is love and care, I’m there. My schedule changes week to week. If I work each week day I will have Saturday off. If I’m off a weekday then I work Saturday until 12ish. I’m always available to chat and try my best to fit the pets needs into my schedule. I have cats and they have never been around any other pets so I would not do pet care in my home. I always worry about the mental well beings of everyone’s pets.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, I’m used to having to take them for walks, feeding them, and making sure they stay on their schedules. I’ve dog sat my own dog then in college I dog sat for a bernedoodle named Luke, he was about 90 pounds. I love animals, I’m here for the summer. I have no other job so I’m always available! It fits into my routine because I will make your pet my priority. I make sure pets feel safe and loved by sticking to their routine, providing constant supervision, clean environments, and plenty of attention. I follow all instructions carefully and treat every pet like family.

About: I’ve boarded two dogs before at my own place and I have cat sat at a few owners houses before. I’m responsible and will communicate when I check in on your loved pets. As tax, I will always send a photo of your pet as well every time I check in on them and truly enjoy spending some playtime with them as well. I live by a little lake that’s great for walks too! I currently have a full time job but I am flexible for both before and after work to make time to care for your furry family members. I’m willing to move my furniture around to fit your pets crate, food & water bowl. My couch and bed are open for cuddles if you allow your pet bed/couch time but can reinforce it’s not okay while on vacation if you don’t. I let the pets enjoy a Netflix experience by putting on YouTube videos of animal footage they might enjoy.

About: I've spent over 15 years caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. From energetic puppies needing structure and play, to senior pets requiring patience and gentle care, I tailor my approach to each animal's unique needs. I've also volunteered at local shelters, where I gained hands-on experience with pets who need extra love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, as well as weekend care. Because my time is split between part-time work and training, I can give your pet the attention, consistency, and companionship they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment that minimizes stress and keeps routines consistent. I follow any instructions carefully—feeding, walks, medications, or house rules—so your pet feels secure and cared for just like they would with you. In your home, I treat the space with respect and maintain a clean, secure setting. If pets are staying with me, they’ll enjoy a quiet, supervised space with plenty of attention, playtime, and rest. I never leave pets unattended for long and always make sure they’re in a safe, enclosed area indoors or on-leash outside. Communication is key—I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, or videos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands.

About: I have owned/cared for animals my entire life. I have owned all types of animals, including: dogs, cats, frogs, geckos, horses, and fish. I have cared for other animals, including: pigs, goats, sheep, geese, and chickens. I volunteered at a veterinarian hospital for 2 years and my wife is on the board of “Real Dog Moms of Chicago”. I currently walk/dog sit for a military family that has a senior dog and a 1 year old dog, both with very different needs. I work full remote from my home and am very flexible. I also have experience with both large and small dogs (Mastiffs to Chihuahuas) and all types of cats. I have also walked and dog sit for a rescue pitbull that was a former fighting dog, that the owners will only let me or themselves walk. I love animals and will do anything to make them comfortable, loved, and cared for. I genuinely love the animals I care for. I take care of my own 2 cats and 3 dogs, have continuously helped friends and neighbors with their pets as needed and genuinely love animals. I am flexible with time and work from home with a car. My pets are spoiled and loved for with true care, compassion, and attentiveness. Just tell me exactly what you need, what the animal needs, and I will take care of the animal so you can feel comfortable when you are away. I always send updates and pics with every walk, homecare, or visit. You will always be kept up-to-date and in the know.

About: I’ve had pets throughout my entire life. Since 2008 I’ve helped foster “ruffly” 150 animals of all sizes, ages, tails and ears. I currently have a rescue cat, and I’ve had many of my own dogs as well over the years. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available pretty much anytime during the week, some Saturdays (especially during the winter) and most Sundays to help take care of your pets needs. I treat animals with care and respect. I make sure to give them the love, kindness, and compassion that they deserve. I take care of my animal’s health and safety needs by taking the time to play with them, feeding them the best foods, and paying attention to any physical and mental changes.

About: Years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience house sitting homes with multiple animals. I love all furry friends and would love to care for yours! I work in the early morning until early afternoon. I have evenings free as well! Perfect for a late notice long weekend, a work trip, or any time away from your pet! I know there is an importance in keeping a sense of normalcy for your pet while you are away. That can include but is not limited to keeping schedule, taking on walks, feeding at appropriate times, and most importantly following owners instructions.

About: With a lifetime of pet ownership, I bring genuine love and a commitment to ensuring owners' peace of mind by prioritizing their comfort at all times. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my schedule as a college student. I allocate specific hours for classes, leaving ample time in between for pet companionship. I cherish walks in nature, making pet care a joyful part of my routine. I tailor my pet care approach based on clients' needs. Whether in my home or theirs, communication is key. I prioritize their preferences to ensure maximum comfort and satisfaction.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I volunteered at humane society in high school (to take care of dogs and cats and as a walker). I started dog sitting in the past year and it works great with my schedule. I don’t currently have a dog, so it’s nice to see their smiling faces! I work from home so it is easy for me to drop by for a walk, to let your pets out, for meet and greets and to be here for drop offs and pick ups. I do live in a one bedroom (no roommates, family or pets of my own). There isn’t a yard which is part of the reason I haven’t gotten a dog but I live super close to a park or if the dog is more energetic and needs a run, I’ll take them to closer off baseball field to play fetch. When I dog sit at people’s houses, I follow whatever schedule they ask me to (in regards to when and what to feed the pets, how often to walk, if one is crated, etc). I usually meet them at their house a few days before they leave to go over where everything is and to meet their pets.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was a child. At 13, I began volunteering at an animal clinic and continued doing so until I went to college. During that time, I learned how to assist with births—both kittens and puppies—and even how to resuscitate newborns who weren’t breathing, all while supporting the mother. I became known in my neighborhood for helping moms-to-be in need and successfully resuscitated many babies on my own. I was also part of a rescue group that promoted adoption and provided low-cost spay/neuter services to families in need. I absolutely love all kinds of animals. I deeply respect their needs, emotions, and unique personalities—every one of them is a special being, and I can’t wait to meet yours. I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m happy to adjust my availability as needed to fit your routine. I’m also available for overnight sitting upon request, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I live with my three year old tuxedo cat. He’s very well tempered. I don’t have a yard since I live in an apartment but I can walk your dog for as long as they need. I can also care for pets at your location as needed.

About: Our family has had a dog for over 20 years. So I have experience caring for them and walking them and working with difficult and reactive dogs as well. Our family has also owned a cat in the past for 15 years so I have experience with all kinds of cats. Difficult ones included. I have cat sat in the past as well for 3 cats I am currently free during the week and weekend at any point. I can do a morning walk, afternoon or evening. I can dog sit as well with a few days notice. I take my own dog on at least 3 walks a day for at least 15 20 minutes. So I'll have no problem walking another dog for any amount of time. I treat my dog with love but also discipline. She knows her basic commands

Amy K.Star Sitter
“Amy is fabulous with animals of all kinds. When we got our retriever mix, Murphy she was the first to teach him basic obedience, sit, lay down, etc. She was also very loving towards our senior dog as well and was always willing to carry her down our steps to go outside, etc. Not only has Amy been excellent with dogs but we have owned cats since we were children. Amy can provide basic, foundational care for cats but also has experience in giving medication and caring for cats with more extensive needs like Asthma, etc. I would 100% trust Amy with my pets.”

Travis C.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention my dog, Walter, received during his walks with Travis! It was clear he genuinely loves animals. Walter came back happy and well-exercised. I appreciated the consistency in routine and photos provided. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands.”

Melanie A.

“Melanie is awesome! She and our cat Ruxin got along great. Melanie went above and beyond when caring for our pet and the daily updates definitely made us feel like our cat was in good hands.”

Natasha B.

“Natasha was fantastic with our two voids (black cats). She’s insanely prompt and sent pictures daily with a report of how it went. We will definitely be using new again.”

Jennifer K.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the pet-sitting experience Jennifer provided for our family! I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, and loving pet sitter. We’ll be booking her again! Our cats, usually shy and cautious with strangers, immediately warmed up to Jennifer. She took the time to bond with them, and I noticed they were calm and happy when we returned home. Our large dog was handled with ease by Jennifer despite his size and high energy. She went on walks with him, played fetch, and gave him all the love and attention he craved. He was so content when we got home—clearly, he had been well-exercised and cared for. I was also pleasantly surprised that Jennifer fed our fish while we were away which wasn't required but was truly appreciated. Jennifer kept us updated with photos and messages throughout her time with our pets, which gave us peace of mind. I'm so happy we found her!”

Lily G.
“Lily is a wonderful pet giver. She has experience with animals big and small and is always looking to balance enrichment and play time with the pets she cares for. She is responsive and attentive to owners’ and pets’ needs.”

Stephanie B.
“Stephanie watched my dog for 5 days while we were at a family reunion. She was more than helpful and worked around our schedule. She was extremely accommodating, kind, and responsible. When we came to pick up, our pup seemed very happy and comfortable with her. I highly recommend using her services for your pets.”

Karli K.
“Karli is an AMAZING person for rover! She’s very caring, ready to work— she’s watered my plants a few times and she’s always left them looking beautiful! She’s also cared for my little dog and has been very patient with her.”

William S.
“Bill (William) is the best! We absolutely love him and trust him with our fur babies! He always goes above and beyond and has helped our family more than I can count. He walks both our dogs daily M-F with extra walks when needed. He also helps in the evening with them when other family stuff comes up. He went above and beyond when I was swamped with kids and work and one of our pups (she’s actually really old) decided to stop eating. Honestly, you can’t find a better person to care and love on your pets!”

Jacob M.
“Jake is so great! Awesome with my 3 senior dogs who are high needs. Jake is down to earth and just all around easy to work with. I highly highly recommend Jake! Your dogs will thank me.”

Kristen W.
“Kristen is so great! She is the most caring pet parent to her fur babies and I know she’d treat other pets with the same love!”

Sarah B.
“I have a diabetic Chihuahua named Greco that is also partially blind (due to the cataracts caused by the diabetes) and a Belgian Malinois named Schatzi that Sarah took excellent care of! The chihuahua gets insulin twice a day after he eats, and sometimes he gets a little stubborn with eating and will refuse, and she had no problems with any of it! On top of that, chihuahuas are pretty particular about their humans but immediately took a liking to her. The Mal is.. a typical Malinois - 1000 miles per hour all the time - and Sarah kept up and made sure Schatzi was very well taken care of! There aren’t many people I trust, generally speaking but especially with my pups, and Sarah is at the top of that list!”
