“Glenn & Renee were able to accommodate my senior chihuahua mix on short notice for doggy daycare in the midst of his eating habits (and therefore bathroom habits) changing due to our cross-state move. They were just as invested in his eating and bathroom habits returning to normal as if he were their own. I am hoping that Monte adjusts to his new home quickly, but will be returning to services with Glenn & Renee because of their high quality care for my dog.”

About: I'm a sensitive, caring responsible individual who loves to play with dogs and with whom dogs love to play. I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. Consequently, I can adapt my schedule to your dog's schedule. I have a fenced yard and I have no other dogs. Even though the house is on two levels, it's easy for dogs to navigate.

“Kailey is wonderful! She came over to my house and spent 2 days with my dog Bunny. Bunny immediately warmed up to her and could sense her good energy and kindness. Kailey was responsive, dependable, and extremely flexible! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, and took extra special care when Bunny wasn't feeling well. Bunny was so sad to see her leave!!! I recommend Kailey 1000000%! Can't wait to book her again.”

“Erika is THE BEST!! I have never had anyone babysit any of my dogs before. We drove 5 hours for a wedding and needed someone to puppy sit. Ericka responded quickly, answered all my questions, EASY to work with, home is inviting and comfortable!! ☺️🐶 She sent me pictures and let me know throughout the night how Maci was doing, to help reassure us (me) 🤪. Dogs are definitely like a child.🥰 I know now why she has repeat customers. I wish we lived closer so we could use Erika’s service more often. Thank you Ericka!!”

“Oli is a very loving, conscientious, accommodating and responsible dog sitter. I appreciate her awareness of a dog's energy and I knew Scout was in good hands with her, so I never have to worry about her when she's with Oli. I also appreciated the follow up on the first day along with pics to assure me Scout felt settled in.”

About: When it comes to pet care, my experience spans over 20 years of working hands-on with large-breed, reactive dogs and senior dogs. What truly sets me apart from other sitters is my specialized skill set in handling and rehabilitating breeds like German Shepherds, Malinois, Pitbulls, Mastiffs, and Dobermans—breeds that can be challenging for many. My background as a trained dog handler in high-pressure environments, such as airports and stadiums, has equipped me with exceptional confidence and composure, even in demanding situations. In addition to traditional pet sitting, I bring expertise in training puppies, helping them build a solid foundation with cues like “sit,” “stay,” and “come,” as well as addressing common challenges like crate training, house training, and socialization. I also have a deep understanding of the unique needs of senior dogs, providing them with the patience and care they require, whether it's gentle walks, enrichment activities, or ensuring their comfort during daycare or overnight stays. My approach to pet care integrates enrichment and positive reinforcement techniques to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated. Activities like puzzles, nose work, and structured playtime are part of my regular routine, ensuring that your dog not only receives the best care but also enjoys their time away from home. Additionally, I offer flexibility and personalized options for pet parents, from 30-minute or 1-hour play sessions at your house to full-day daycare or overnight care at my home. During these sessions, I also incorporate obedience training, providing added value and peace of mind that your dog is in capable hands. Whether you're looking for someone to care for a puppy, a reactive dog, or a senior companion, I’m here to offer a trustworthy, tailored, and enriching experience that sets me apart. My dedication to the well-being and happiness of your furry family member is at the heart of everything I do. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. With my focus on large-breed and reactive dogs, my days are thoughtfully structured to provide them with the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need. Typically, my mornings start early with walks or playtime for the dogs in my care, setting a positive tone for their day. I then move on to training sessions, whether at a client's home or my own, incorporating obedience work and enrichment activities like puzzles or nose work. Midday often involves daycare dogs, ensuring they get adequate stimulation and rest while under my supervision. Evenings are reserved for longer walks, wrap-up sessions, or overnight care for those staying with me. I maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the unique needs of pet parents, whether they require last-minute care or consistent, recurring services. By integrating pet care into every aspect of my routine, I ensure that every dog receives the individualized attention and support they deserve. This dedication reflects my passion for helping dogs thrive and maintaining peace of mind for their families. - 30-minute or 1-hr dog play or walk at your house; some obedience training included during this time or ball time - Day care at my house; obedience and enrichment training (puzzles, nosework, ball time) during this time - Overnight care at my house; obedience and enrichment training (puzzles, nosework, ball time) during this time - 1-hr obedience training only Safety and trust are at the core of everything I do, whether caring for pets in my home or yours. My approach ensures a secure, comfortable, and enriching environment tailored to the needs of each dog. When Caring for Pets in My Home: My home is designed to be a dog-friendly space where large-breed and reactive dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I ensure all areas are clean, safe, and free from hazards. Dogs staying with me—whether for daycare or overnight care—enjoy enrichment activities such as puzzles, nose work, ball time, and obedience training. Play and rest are carefully balanced to keep them happy and well-adjusted. For reactive or nervous dogs, I create a calm environment that allows them to decompress and feel at ease. I take the time to get to know their personality and any triggers they may have, ensuring that their time in my care is stress-free and rewarding. When Caring for Pets in Your Home: I take the same level of care and attention to your home as I do to my own. I follow your established routines, from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes, to maintain consistency for your dog. Safety is a top priority—whether it’s securely managing leashes during walks or observing your dog’s behavior for any signs of discomfort or stress. For large or reactive dogs, I bring my expertise in handling and training to help them feel comfortable and confident, even in unfamiliar situations. My goal is to create a seamless experience for both you and your dog, offering peace of mind while you’re away. Building Trust: I believe trust starts with open communication. I keep pet parents updated with regular check-ins, photos, or videos to ensure they’re always in the loop about their dog’s well-being. With over 20 years of experience, I understand the importance of reliability and consistency in providing exceptional care. No matter where the care takes place, my focus is always on the safety, happiness, and enrichment of your furry family member. Harlan S.
“I have known Harlan Schneider for many years. I can attest to his sterling character and his strong love of animals. His last pet was a female terrier mix, which had been adopted by his elderly mother from the local animal shelter. However, Harlan was her primary care-giver, even before his mother, whom he resided with, passed away. He treated Taffy more than just a pet; she was very much like his only child and his main companion. His devotion and understanding of her physical and emotional needs were admirable. I have no doubt that Harlan would be an excellent pet-sitter/dog-walker. He is an exceptionally kind and loving person, as well as a true animal-lover!”
