About: Because I’m here to take care of everybody else’s kids. My name is Amaya, I have been caring for all kinds of animals for about 10 years now. It all started when I moved in with my best friend in high school, her and her mother at that time had dogs, cats, rats, tortoises, a frog, etc. After graduating high school, she started working at an animal rescue near our house and quickly became a manager. Over the years I helped her care for all of the animals she brought home, and now that we no longer live together, I’ve found that I miss the excitement that caring for animals brings to life. I figured I could spend my extra time where it’s needed. I work full time and can watch pets over the weekend or go for walks before or after work. I work M-F my schedule varies for now I can care for pets in your home however is necessary, I am able to easily crate dogs or corral cats if needed. Very used to using gates and keeping doors shut if necessary as well

About: Your animals will love my care! 15 years of experience, caring for cats and dogs. I love all animals. Currently reactivating my Rover account for dog and cat care. Mainly taking female well behaved dogs up to 70 pounds. Occasionally will care for some males that are very well-behaved and non-aggressive. Care not available for any aggressively known breeds. Keep in mind if I am booked up on a particular day then I would not be available. My drop in visits are per hour $20 per hour. Will travel up to 8 mile radius from Westerly, Rhode Island. Please make sure they have secure harness and leash. If heavy scented toxic shampoos are used on pet, I will not be able to accompany the pet. About: Mature and reliable dog sitter. My first job was walking Mrs McKensie’s Scotty dog when I was 12. I love dogs and decided to switch from Airbnb to Rover for doggies. You can trust me with your beloved canines. They will have the run of the house, couch, and human or doggie beds!! I have an older terrier mix and had a Weimaraner before him. My house has 1/2 acre of land with a lot of shade. Experienced with small and large dogs, accurate medication delivery, walking in dog groups or running free on the beach. I’ll follow your lead. I understand how important trust in a pet sitter is when you want to escape for a few days or weeks! It would be a privilege to welcome your pup in my home. I am a college professor who works remotely. So I will be home with your beloved doggie for MANY hours a day. I also love the beach and the many walking doggie walk areas in Westerly including Avondale, Moore Woods, Ninigret park and all local beaches when permitted. Again you KNOW your dog— I’ll follow your lead. I have a large shady yard, several play areas and A LOT of toys. My terrier mix is chill now that he is 12 and he loves other doggies! I am a MOTHER HawK and will never let your doggies outside alone or at night without a leash or my watchful eye to keep them safe.

About: I currently have 1 cat and 1 dog, I watch my brother’s puppy every week and have taught her many tricks. I also take my bestfriends dog on a hike once in awhile I’m working part time so I have plenty free time to be filled! After 1pm on Fridays, and before 11am on tuesdays & Wednesdays! I have mondays and sundays off I regularly walk my dog and feed her throughout the day. When I watch my brothers puppy I take her on long walks and run around in the yard.

About: I’ve always owned a dog since I was born. I grew up with a beautiful german shepard and currently own 2 mixed breed rescue dogs. Some people call me the animal whisperer because whenever I go to their house their dog/cat runs to me and wants to enjoy my company. I don’t have professional experience with pets but I did personally train my two dogs, and they are very well behaved and listen to commands. I’m currently working part-time while searching for a new steady full-time job. In the mean time, I felt like taking this opportunity to supervise other owners’ dogs when they’re in need and when I have free time to make some extra cash would benefit everyone. I own two dogs, Heidi and Bailey. Heidi is an absolute sweetheart and very down to earth. Bailey is also adorable and just wants to show love, however she was a rescue pup and suffers severe anxiety, ptsd, and separation anxiety. While my two dogs do get along with each other, Bailey can get quite protective and aggressive with dogs she has not met before. There have been times where in a large open space she was able to calmly meet other dogs. I would be able to come to my client’s house to pet-sit but would not be able to bring my client’s pet to my house just for the safety of the situation and our pets.
