About: I grew up with a German Shepard. I fostered and trained a Husky. Lastly owned a husky/pitbull mutt mix. I do want a dog now but its just not in the card for me and my partner. I have watched relatives and friend dog in the past. This mifht be my first time on Rover butni have been on WAG for 4 years. I use to be a teacher and now in a place where I am creating my own business. I have time in the day to take care of your little one. Im home right now and have a flexible schedule. Just let me know the times you need and how strict you need me to stay on the schedule. Personally I prefer to keep a puppy in a crate while I am gone. I dog sit for one person that has a small room with food and space to wonder. I prefer to have a room or crate for puppies to avoid accidents. I do have plenty of lawn to have your buddy to run but it is not fenced in. I love hikes and camping so if you are ok with me taking your fur child with me Ill be more than happy to.
“Lisa did a great job in watching my dogs Mercury and Hermes. Hermes was only 11 weeks old, so I was worried how he would do, but it was evident that both dogs had a lot of fun and were well cared for. Lisa took them hiking and carried Hermes when the hike was too far. It is evident that Lisa loves dogs and has fun watching them. I will definitely use her again when traveling.”

“Ayla & Han took care of our 2 German Shepherds for the weekend and words cannot describe how grateful we are that we found them! They took such great care of our pups, provided amazing photos and updates, and gave so much love to our pups when we were away. They are genuine and trust worthy people. Highly recommended and would definitely be reaching out again.”

“Ms. Chris was great with our two dogs! They can be anxious but when she came for the meet and greet they could feel her good energy and were comfortable with her. She did a quick overnight stay for us, and I would hire her again in the future. Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies, Chris!”

“Ciara watched our small 2 yr old golden doodles for a few days and nights. She is sweet, caring, bubbly, patient, and you can see that she loves dogs. They absolutely loved her which made us feel secure that our two pups were in good hands while we were out of the state for a family funeral. We left her plenty of puppy instructions and seemed she followed them. She sent photos of our fur babies during our time away. She definitely took great care of them. We would definitely use her again for puppy sitting.”

“Edyn was great and my Bulldog loved her and her Cowbell. She did a wonderful job and is coming back tomorrow for a week. We are so happy with her warmth and care for our Bulldog and home. Thank you so much Edyn!! :)”

“I highly recommend Coleen for your pet sitting needs. She stayed at my house for a week with Lucy and did an amazing job while I was able to relax on vacation. Lucy can be a little apprehensive of new people but she warmed right up to Coleen from the start. Coleen is very responsive and responsible. She also cleaned my house and hairy floors prior to me getting home. She was also flexible and understanding when my flight ended up being delayed and I missed my connection, she was able to cover the extra time.”

“Used Rover for the first time and couldn't be happier with the sitter i picked. She kept us on need to know basis everyday with pictures or comments. She also house sat and kept it very clean! I think she went above and beyond our initial agreement and i am so thankful for her help. She watched 4 bulldogs and all 4 were in great condition when we got home. I highly recommend Denise for anyone who is looking for an experienced dog sitter.”

“Daniel was great! We texted each other to check in over the course of a week. Mocha was well cared for and everything was in order when we returned. Daniel definitely made it easy to be away with no worries.”

“Mitch took great care of Jeff and Xochitl again. We knew they were completely safe with him and he sent us pictures of them. We are so happy when he stays with them!”

“Morgan is just amazing. Communicating was great back and forth, even when our flight plans had to change. She took excellent care of our doggies and our house. She was here with the dogs for the vast majority of the day, which was important to me. She is my go-to sitter going forward.”

“Samuel was great! He stayed over with Shelby for a night and came home to a very happy Dog. We were coming back from the mountains and uncertain of time coming home and Samuel offered to stay as long as we wanted, which ended up not being needed. Great communication and pics to go along with the say. Will definitely be using Samuel again!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love caring for them. I’ve had dogs my entire life and would treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, as well as dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable with medication management, maintaining feeding and potty routines, and making sure each dog’s individual needs are met. For me, pet sitting is about more than simply making sure a dog is fed and safe. I really value enrichment, play, exercise, affection, and creating an environment where your dog feels comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a long walk, playing with their favorite toy, practicing some training, getting plenty of cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I want them to have a positive and enriching experience. Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them that way. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing that your dog is in loving, capable, and attentive hands while you’re away. I work remotely from home and have a lot of flexibility. I am available to watch your pet over the weekend where I am available 24/7. It is important to me that I am fully available while watching your pet. I live in a large home with many comfortable spaces for your pet. I provide multiple walks per day, constant snuggles and playtime. Since I do not have a fenced in yard, it is important to me that I provide ample physical exercise and outlets for energy
“Bryan was dog sitting in our home during the holiday season. We had to reschedule our flights and he was very flexible with moving the dates around. Dog sitting 3 dogs can be challenging for even the best dog sitters but he did a great job managing all 3 dogs and catering to each as they all have different needs. Our one pup has some issues with mobility and needs to take medication and he made sure that was taken care of. One thing that was very important for us and stood out about Bryan was that he dedicated 100% of his time to our dogs. We’ve had experiences where dog sitters would leave our dogs 12 hours alone at home without communicating that and we knew that with Bryan the dogs were always cared for, happy and attended to. Upon our return the home was clean, dogs were tired and happy and Bryan even waited for us to give us the rundown of his whole stay!”

“Maria was beyond amazing!!! She was even able to accommodate and stay an extra day when our flights got changed at the last minute. She kept us updated the entire time with videos and photos. She is truly a gem!!!”

We take multiple breaks during the day for fresh air and to get good stretching in. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 2,158 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Westcreek. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Westcreek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Westcreek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Westcreek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
