About: I am a seasoned, responsible, gregarious, fun-loving cat/dog lady with full day availability and weekends to take care of your pet needs like they were my own. I get up with my puppy everyday feed and play a game with then take him on a morning walk. If I run some errands, he is crate trained (by me) and has some quiet time but when I get home, we normally take another walk and play a game in the backyard that requires him to run around. I also take him out multiple times a day for potty breaks. I live on a one-acre property with a fenced in yard. I have a 3 year old Labradoodle (Lincoln) with all his shots and he is very good and well socialized with other animals.

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I did Rover over the summer while ai was home and loved it! I do work outside my home, but my schedule and hours vary. If I need to check in on your pup or provide a snack, don’t hesitate to reach out. I do have some days where it can be 7-8 hours that I am gone, but I will let you know if that’s the case. I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.

With senior dogs, I know how to make them comfortable and maintain a calm, quiet and caring environment for them with lots of dog bed spread around the house. When you trust me to let me take care of your dogs, you absolutely don't have any problems to worry about. I can promise that your dogs will have the best care and always be free to be themselves without worry, stress, or fear in my home. I am a full-time housewife, so pet care IS my weekly routine! Besides the usual house chores, I have plenty of time to give full attention to your furry loved ones. All day long, every single day, you can drop off your dogs at my home (my husband is just as much of an animal love as I am, and a business owner, so if he’s off he’ll be just as happy to have them as guest as I am!). Your dogs are welcome to sleep over at our house every single day of the week, until you get back from business trips or vacations. Food, water, a bed to sleep in and freshly cleaned toys to play with between sittings; our home can be theirs whenever needed. I can be available three days per week to come to your house overnight to take care of your dogs in their own home if you wish, as long as our schedules line up. With food: If you give me any food for your dogs when you drop them at my home, I will follow any routine and recipe you have laid out, being considerate of diet issues. If you’re more relaxed about diet concerns and don’t mind me spoiling them a bit I might treat them to a rice, chicken or fish and olive oil treat, which is a veterinarian favorite for good canine health, and dogs always tend to love it! (I keep these on hand and their made with no seasonings or flavorings at all). However, make sure you give me any information about your dogs health, diet and allergy concerns, before hand. In the yard: I do have a yard with a fence where your dogs can run around and play a bit or relieve themselves, but I use it sparingly and usually just do walks outside. (I do not have any plants in the yard that can cause harm to dogs.) Parks and trails: From my home to the end of the road I live on, about a one minute walk, I have access to a park that I’ll sometimes take dogs to. If your dogs are sociable and you don’t have concerns with them having run ins with other dogs or children then they might gets some social time that way. Let me know if these are concerns and we will keep them at the house. If your dogs are not socialized, I can take them for walks on the trail away from others, or not. Just let me know. With environment: I have no children, no pets, so your dogs will not have to face any territorial or child terrorism issues of any kind. If you prefer, I can keep your dogs privately kenneled while with me or allow them freedom to move about the house and socialize with me. If you don't say anything, I prefer to give your dogs freedom to roam around in my home and lounge wherever they like. They are allowed to stay on the couch or the bed, which is fine with me, but if you have them trained not to, just let me know and I will stop them. If there are any other training concerns or restrictions, don’t hesitate to let me know and I will maintain those both firmly and gently!

He can be a handful on walks and she did really well with him! On top of that, our flight got cancelled and Jennie was nice enough to walk and feed our dog an extra night and morning before we could get home!
