About: I have had both cats and dogs my whole life. My family has always been the home that would foster puppies from a local rescue, and that strays would find their way to our front porch. I currently have a husky lab mix named Will that requires a lot of daily training to help him be a more well rounded dog. I have spent that better part of the year working with a trainer, as my dog is a huge part of my life. I am a better dog parent because of him. I am also already accustomed to long dog walks as we take our dog on walks three times a day. Our previous dog, Toby, who passed away last year from severe dog dementia. We adopted him later in his life from a shelter and we had 6 amazing years with him. There were also mobile issues which my partner and I would take shifts on taking care of him each day along with weekly laser treatments at the vet. It was a full time job and a learning experience. This was a big part of why training our new dog is so important to us, we want his mind and body to be healthy as he ages. I am overall a huge pet lover and would love to help any dog get outside more! I'm currently working part time, as I am in school to get my bachelors degree. I am available Monday, Friday- Anytime past 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- Mornings to early afternoon before 2 p.m. Saturday- Contact me for Saturdays, my schedule on this day changes per week but I am willing to work with you the best I can! About: I’ve had cats as well as dogs my entire life. I currently have two cats at home, Nevis and beanie. I recently worked on a horse ranch that had multiple barn cats. One was attacked by an animal in the night and required intensive care. My husband and I brought him home and cared for his wounds, changed his diapers, and syringe fed him all day and night. He ended up recovering great and went to live with a friend in a nice cozy home. I’ve also cared for my late cat, filly in her senior years. I was able to administer medications to her through her food, syringe, as well as medications applied to her ear. I know some cats can be indifferent to strangers, but I love to win them over!

About: I have owned dogs for 30 years of many different breeds and temperaments. I am very active with my own dog going to the dog park or hiking daily and have room for a few dog friends to go. I am available all days and hours with time to spend walking and going on adventures with dogs and keeping them mentally stimulated and happy. I have a puggle that is young and energetic so small nippy dogs will need prior introduction. He gets along great with big friendly dogs. I have a fenced yard and a puggle to keep your dog company and a dog door for them to go in and out. I will be present at all times when caring for your dog. I only accept dogs that are potty trained for indoor boarding.

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. About: I am a mother of 4 children and one Chihuahua-Miniature Pinscher named Pepperoni (we call her ‘Roni’) and a cat named Dexter. I have been a pet owner for many years and have had a passion for animals all my life. In my experiences I’ve found that animals can generally sense a friendly person, and most pets I come in contact with quickly become comfortable with my demeanor. I am happy to be able to care for animals and give pet owners comfort in knowing their dear family members are being genuinely loved and cared for! It’s a wonderful and exciting time in my life that I am able to incorporate my passion for animals into my “work” and still be available for my family. I have cared for many different animals, rabbits, birds, fish, bearded dragons and hamsters. I am comfortable giving medications as well. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. My children are now all adults and planning to attend college. I am very active in general so I love fitting additional dog walks in! I am an active person who enjoys anything outdoors. I like to discover and explore hiking destinations with my family, as well as camping and backpacking. Spending time with my family, Roni and Dexter is a typical weekend for me.
