About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pup Kona. I have always lived with dogs. And recently, have been thinking about getting a cat! I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. I wanted to get back into dog sitting and pet sitting to assist in getting a new car and to get to spend time with pets! I have always been obsessed with dogs! I show that through meeting as many as I can when out in the community :). I am active person, so long walks and playing is something I can provide. I am open to any requests you might have and am great at keeping in touch with pet parents. I can always be available through text, call, or email. I’m so excited to meet you and your lovely pets!! I have a full time job, so weekends are my only availability. However, I am open to discuss any special circumstances! I might potentially be more available on a long weekend, when I am off from my school based job. I would want to care for your pets as you would or how you would want. I am great with a schedule and specific requests.

“From the moment that I met Emily, I understood that her relationships with animals are deeply reciprocal. She is a patient and caring friend and enjoys the love that they offer in return. Emily stayed with my senior Boxer for 10 days at my home. She was a conscientious sitter -- taking perfect care of my home and of my pet. Knuckie typically experiences a few days of depression and hives when I leave but with Emily he was in good spirits, eating and in his normal routine. Honestly, he looked fantastic when I returned -- like he'd had a week at a spa.
