About: An experienced and professional petsitter who has previously worked for On Paws Professional Pet Services in San Marcos, Texas. I have also grown up with two dogs and a bird, who have since passed. My roommates' cats and dogs have felt like family to me, and treated as such. Since living on my own I’ve had my own cat, Umami who is the cutest character and wild child that I loved so dearly! I would love to keep your pet company (and vise versa!) I’m currently only working remotely part-time, so I have some wiggle room to care for your pet(s)! I would be able to feed, play, and walk with them during my time off! I would definitely treat them as my own, and try to make them as happy and comfortable as possible, while making sure their needs are met.
“Simon helped my husband with our dog's walks after I hurt my knee. He was very responsive, always on time, and flexible. He has a very calming manner and Jack readily went to him and followed him out the door with no hesitation! I highly recommend Simon to care for your dog, and he will remain part of our pack! - Zelda”

About: I am recently retired and a new dog owner as of 2024. I enjoy spending time with dogs and my own dog, Tilly, is very socialable with other dogs and humans. The fenced in backyard is a combination of grass and woods, providing plenty of areas to explore, relax and play. Currently retired and a relatively new dog owner (1+ year). I can host your pet any day of the week providing I am home. I enjoy walking, playing and napping with my dog Tilly and would provide the same level of care for your dog. My backyard is fenced in and provides plenty of space to roam around. There are paths through the wooded area, a large section of grass and plenty of shade. On a pleasant day, your pup will spend a good deal of time playing with our dog Tilly outside and then napping on the couch or an outside bed.

“Tina has been a reliable and highly valued walker for my mother’s dog Max in Woodstock. She comes every afternoon and walks him for an hour, and even picks up the mail on her way back. Max is always happy to see her!”

“Elishamaria was wonderful. She was very friendly, communicative and professional. She made our dog Butters feel very comfortable and happy. We were able to enjoy a little time to ourselves in Hudson. We would definitely book her again the next time we’re in town!”

“Venetia showed up on time (a little early even to get the lowdown on my dog!) and helped burn some puppy energy! She took my 1 year old dog on a nice nature walk with beautiful pics :-) She was very patient with some naughty behaviors we're working on (jumping!) and her calm demeanor put my boy at ease to go off with a stranger. She responded promptly to my requests and was VERY thorough with getting all of Reshi's information. Will be using her services again soon and would def recommend Venetia for your pets needs :-)”

About: Hi! I'm Liz, a dedicated animal caretaker with over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. I'm passionate about keeping pets happy, healthy, and safe, whether it's through daily walks, playtime, or administering medications. I treat every animal like a member of my own family and take pride in providing consistent, loving, care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work from home, so pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine in a way that is structured but flexible, depending on the pets' needs, and the type of care I am providing. I have over an acre in my back yard that can be enjoyed for playtime with pets. I have secure doors in my house, and I keep my home secure and pet-proof. No small objects or breakable items in areas where we play and spend time. I have a pet first-aid kit on hand in my home. I have contact information for local veterinarians and emergency clinics readily available. I have some basic knowledge in first-aid and CPR for dogs and cats.

About: I started pet sitting three years ago when I began studying at Bard College and was looking for ways to support myself as a student. If I describe myself, I would say I’m very empathetic. It helps me connect with animals, understand their behavior, and notice when something feels different. I try to be calm, patient, and attentive to each pet’s personality. I understand that pets are family members, and it can be stressful to leave them with someone new. That’s why I carefully follow parents’ rules, routines, and feeding schedules. I always stay in touch and send updates, so owners feel comfortable and reassured. In my recent experience, I cared for two cats for two weeks, for a dog and two cats together for about a week and a half, and I also hosted a large dog in my home for a full month. About: When I was 8, I wrote a poem about how badly I wanted to hang out with animals all day, added my parents' land line #, and then made a ton of copies for each mailbox in the neighborhood. I was sole proprietor of the Elizabeth's House, Dog, Cat, & Plant Sitting operation for about 10 years until I left home for undergrad. Now at 38 I've continued to offer my services to any family, friends, coworkers, etc. in need of a responsible, thoughtful, detail-oriented person for house, pet, and or plant sitting. I have experience caring for pets with a variety of care needs: senior animals, puppies & kittens, pets that need to be administered medication and/or special diets, and animals with behavioral issues. I am deeply respectful of every animal's unique personality, and take time to understand and anticipate your pet's every need. I will treat your fur babies like they're my own! I took a break from Rover for the past 2 years, but now I'm back and excited to meet some new clients <3 I work remotely from home, so my schedule is uniquely flexible to care for your home, pet, plants, either within your space or mine. I'm an early riser and prefer to remain quite active during the day, so I can provide plenty of stimulation for your pets as needed. I treat any space I stay in as if it were my home. This means you'll come back to a clean, tidy, organized house, with thriving plants and happy pets. I'm comfortable with crate training, reinforcing behavioral & obedience training as set by pet owners, and using special muzzles & harnesses for walks as needed. As an amateur horticulture enthusiast, I will also make sure to maintain awareness of the environmental needs of any plants and gardens in my care. I always share GPS location with families when I'm taking their pet on a hike or leaving the home!
About: I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting for cats or dogs, and I’m happy to provide daily exercise, playtime, feeding, and medication support as needed. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, or consistent routines, I tailor my care to fit their needs and personality. I grew up with mid-size dogs and frequently watched smaller dogs for family friends in Pittsburgh. After moving upstate, I became a devoted cat dad to my black cat, Lola, for three years. Since then, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, including seniors with specific feeding and medication schedules. I'm attentive and responsive to every animal’s unique rhythm. I currently work remotely as a freelancer, which gives me the flexibility to drop in or house-sit for quality time with your pets during the day. I enjoy staying active and love being outdoors—so your dog will always get a good walk (and a happy walking buddy!). For overnight stays, I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I pride myself on being responsible, respectful, and kind—treating every home and animal as if they were my own. As a freelancer who works remotely, I have a flexible schedule that lets me give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights provided there's stable wifi. I am a trustworthy house sitter/ walker who priotizes clear communication on expectations and house standards. I do not offer pet care from my own home.
