About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with two cats of my own. I’ve also helped friends and others care for their dogs, including feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I treat every animal with the same patience, care, and affection I give my own. Whether your dog needs a walk, some company, or someone to keep their routine while you’re away, I’d love to help keep them happy, comfortable, and cared for! Pet care fits well into my schedule, especially on weekends when I have the most flexibility and availability. I’m primarily available for weekend bookings, including drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and overnight stays in your home. With at least a week’s notice, I can also be flexible with weekday care when needed. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making their time away from their owner as stress-free as possible. I spend quality time with them, whether that means going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, giving them affection, or simply keeping them company. I’m respectful of each home and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and preferences so I can adjust my care to what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

“This was our first time hiring Deborah to stay with our dogs and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s been a mixed bag when hiring dog sitters through Rover, but with Deborah’s great reviews we took a chance and were absolutely blown away. Deborah met with us beforehand to meet us and the dogs. She asked us lots of great questions and took thorough notes as we spoke. Then she met with us again the day before to go over everything once more. Her thoroughness and willingness to make sure our dogs were well cared for made us confident leaving them in her care. She sent us regular updates and photos while we were away and it was clear our dogs were very comfortable with her. She took them on walks multiple times a day, and was so attentive to their needs, making sure their schedule remained similar to how it is when we’re home. Then, upon our return, our house was just how we left it (maybe even a little cleaner!) and our dogs were so happy. Deciding to travel is hard for us because it’s so tough to find a good dog sitter, but we’re excited (and I know the dogs are as well) for the next time we have a trip so we can rehire Deborah. We were truly able to relax knowing our dogs were in her care!”

About: Hi! My name is Fiona and I’m a lifelong lover of dogs and all animals. I grew up always having 2 to 3 dogs. I was responsible for walking, feeding, grooming, and playing with them. I have experience watching and walking friend’s dogs when needed. I believe each dog deserves special love and attention. I am currently a teacher, so I spend Monday to Friday at work during the day. If the dog is local to Catskill, I’m more than happy to check up on them! Otherwise it’s important to know I’ll be out for some of the day, except for breaks. I’m available for weekend walking and drop-in’s any time! Each pet has their own personality, boundaries, and routine. I want to make sure the pets are comfortable with me so that I can care for them properly.

About: From the moment I was born I was around animals, wild and domestic. My first dog was a 110+ pound Chow/Shepherd mix, she was very protective and territorial and took it upon herself to protect me and my sibling from any bullies on our street. My next pet was a deer head chihuahua rescue named Prue. She was my best friend and followed me everywhere. Later came two beautiful 110+ pound Native American Shepherds. In the same house were three cats. One old curmudgeon named Milo, a very hyper and playful rascal named Cleo, and a sensitive, aloof tuxedo cat named Marley. In the mix were also a Terra fish named Ruby, a very loud but cute cockatiel named AU, two Guinea Pigs named Opie and Didley, and three turtles. One red eared slider named Jack, and two painted turtles. A big one names Perry and a smaller turtle who grew up in a small tank and never got to grow named Damien. Many more animals were added to the mix when i moved in with my fiancé, Hunter. In came a goofy black rescue lab named Jack Jack with a injured ear and no tail, a very charming grey cat named Tom Tom who followed my fiancé home from a fire station, a little apple head chihuahua corgi mix named Willow who was found in the streets of New Orleans after a flood and never fails to get a laugh. I've been around disabled animals my whole life. A Cleo the cat who's tail was injured and had to be removed, a goofball white poodle mix who was born with half a paw, and my intelligent chihuahua/Italian greyhound mix Nibbles, who suffers from seizures. I feel an instant comradery with every animal i meet. I approach them with a warm welcoming energy to put any anxieties at ease and kneel to show that they can trust me. I am very invested in the upkeep of your animal's physical, emotional, environmental and mental wellbeing. I will pamper your loved ones to the highest degree while also showing them how to act in a strangers house without being scared, homesick, nervous or rowdy. :) I work from home as a writer and make my own schedule and can be there for your pets whenever you need. I accept one time requests, daily or weekly. I want to create an open communication between myself and pet parents to fit all of our needs and ease any anxiety felt about parting with your animal. I watch my pets closely and read their body language so i can provide the best possible care and communicate effectively. My chihuahua Nibbles is very expressive and has different behaviors when she asks for a walk, food, and pets that can be unclear, but when paying attention the patterns are there. Though our animal friends cant tell us what they're thinking, they definitely show us.

About: I’m an artist living in a beautiful quiet space in Woodstock with a large yard and plenty of nearby places to hike and swim in the water holes. I had a rescue Wheaten Terrier for 11 years, who sadly passed in January due to a heart condition she had since she was 7 years old. I’m really great with rescues, and highly sensitive dogs. I know how to give medication and just generally vibe with what the dog needs. I’m highly intuitive and I find this to be my main asset as the dog always communicates its needs and wants, we just need to know how to listen. I love all dogs but unfortunately cannot watch ones that shed a lot due to allergies. I’m an artist, mostly working from my home desk or at a coffee shop. I love taking pets to the cafe, if it's an environment they are used to and comfortable with. Sometimes I will work at a cafe but I can make my schedule flexible given enough notice. I have a quiet spacious yard in Woodstock with lots of nearby nature paths. Each day I like to get out for a long walk in nature, and I also live right near a nature preserve that is walking distance from my home. It’s just me at home so it’s a calm relaxing environment.

I have 3 of my own all large breed but very friendly, and one horse with a big personality. I am patient and compassionate all animals have their own personality and all require different care. I work only nights I am a EMT . Which leaves my days free, I can provide all day pet care including walks and or stop ins no problem I can provide comfort to the pets playing or long walks while owners are away or at work. I can stop in as many times as the owners think throughout the day for potty breaks or nights when I’m off of work.
