Hello! My name is Shelby, and I’m an orchestral musician playing with The Orchestra Now at Bard College. I have a lot of free time in which I enjoy practicing my instrument and spending time with awesome pets! I’ve had cats my whole life and can read them very well, and I’ve taken care of many dogs, from beagles to pitbulls. I’m comfortable with most all animals, and I’d love to care for your furry friend :)

I’m comfortable with all dogs, big or small, as well as difficult cats ❤️ Show me your pet’s favorite toy and we’ll have tons of fun! I know how important playtime is for our animals, so I make it a point to keep them stimulated and energized!

Shelby was terrific. Louise warmed up to her right away and Shelby was very responsible, sending us updates and letting us know how Louise was doing over the course of her stay. Shelby was also a neat guest, something we appreciated. We will definitely hire her again!
Shelby is a lovely person, as determined at our meet and greet. Her visit met all our expectations. The animals (2 dogs and a cat) were well taken care of. All pet food dishes were washed and placed away. I would not hesitate to have her return next time we need pet care.
Shelby was wonderful. I left her with my senior dog and two cats for a whole day and she went above and beyond. She sent photos and updates and could t have been more thoughtful. I can't recommend her highly enough. Completely responsible and honest.
Shelby took great care of our kitties while we were out of town!
Very nice, our dog loved her. They took a long walk and even took her on a just because car ride together. Shelby left the house and we came home to a happy dog.
Shelby came through to help us with our dogs last minute and did an excellent job. The dogs got better walks with her than they're used to! So sweet and communicative and prompt. I will definitely be using her services again!

Schedule
Dogs and cats have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have walked and boarded many dogs through Rover and I’ve had cats for 14 years. I like to spend time watching videos and reading articles about the body language of dogs and cats. It makes me happy to further understand our furry friends! :3
