About: I have lots of experience dog walking, dog sitting overnight or regular check ins of any kind. I’ve been dog walking/sitting for 7 years now but have fostered dogs and cats for a couple of years before that. I love every dog/cat I take care of and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I love that every animal I take care of has their own little quirks and I make sure each pet is part of their own routine that they are used to and I believe that is super important for them! I am a teacher so in the summer I am free and can be with your pet whenever they need! During the school year, I will be gone from 8-4 but will still love to give your pet the care they need! I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. I have recently graduated from Bard College. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and I’ve loved each of them tremendously. At the moment I have two beautiful rescue dogs! I have my own dog who is my best friend, and a part of my family. “We had a family medical issue and was able to book Jacqueline quickly. Our dogs are both rescues and it matters a great deal to us who we bring into their lives. Jacqueline immediately made us, and our dogs, feel comfortable and within 5 minutes of being with them, our eldest was resting in her lap. Jaqueline sent constant photos and updates and we are very grateful to have found her and will for sure book her again. TY again, Jaqueline. That last note was from the pups!”
“Victoria took great care of our entitled pittie boy Roy while we were on vacation for 10 to 11 days. It was the first time that we left him with someone else for more than 3 days and based on the pictures, he did not seem to miss his mama and papa very much!”
“Eleanor cared for our Elf, a rescued Yorkie, for two weeks. She sent us pics, consulted us when picky Elf dithered about her meals, took her on many walks and essentially treated Elf as her own fur baby! Eleanor did a super job. I would highly recommend her.”

“First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me.
