“Where do we begin...this was a hard choice when trying to find someone to watch our fur baby for 6 days. He got to know Barb and a visit to her home for a meet and great. Then another visit for half a day. He was in heaven. Barb sent photos throughout the day. He was in a good mood and not anxious at all. Then we left TicTac in her care for 6 days. So many pictures came to us. He definitely has made new friends and was cared for so well. I highly recommend Barb 🌟”

Archie can have anxiety around new people, especially men, but he really seemed to bond to Hong which was great to see. Archie was totally relaxed when we picked him up, and seemed just as happy to stay at Hong’s house as to get in the car. We cannot recommend Hong highly enough!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs professionally and personally for roughly 15 years. I’ve shadowed dog trainers and co-facilitated puppy kindergartens over the years. I’m experienced with a wide range of breeds and temperaments and am committed to ensuring dogs feel safe, happy, and well-cared for when they are away from their people. I currently work remotely and would love to open my apartment to small/medium dogs. I have a large yard and a lot of flexibility for walks and play time. Whether it's daily walks around the block, hikes, feeding routines, administering pills or eye drops, or just giving some extra love and playtime, I deeply care about learning who your dog is, and what they like and need to feel comfortable and happy.

“Lyv and Alieu were amazing! It was Monty's first Rover experience/first time staying overnight with new people, and he's still adapting to life outside the shelter, so naturally, we were a bit nervous. Lyv was very communicative the entire weekend, and it was very apparent that they have a ton of experience with all types of dogs. Monty is very finicky, and we know he can be a difficult house guest at times, but it was clear that Lyv adapted quickly to his needs and read his emotions very well. Monty had a bit of a tough time one night, but Lyv communicated with me immediately and was so kind and understanding about his less-than-ideal behavior. As a first-time dog mom with an anxious dog who is still exhibiting new behaviors randomly, I really appreciated Lyv's kindness, care, and compassion.”

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I didnt have a furry friend by my side. Growing up with pets has taught me how to properly care for & tend to an animal’s needs. I love being able to match the animal’a energy while also ensuring the safety & health of the pet - that is my main priority. I am new to Rover, but I am looking forward to meeting new furry friends in this new community! I work from home on Thursdays & Fridays, and am available most weekends. Also, after work hours on Mondays through Wednesdays are fairly open as well. If I am unavailable, Sophie works 7am-2pm shifts or 2pm-7pm shifts only. Also, Sophie works weekends occasionally, but she is only a short ways away from the apartment! Our rates are the same as well. I live with my partner (Sophie) and we both have grown up with multiple animals in the home. We provide a very caring and welcoming environment for all animals. My partner and I are extremely gentle and attentive, and we find significant importance in building trust with the pets that we come across. I am willing to provide pet care in clients' homes as well as my partner & I’s space -we would love to have a furry friend in our home! Furthermore, I believe it is extremely essential to communicate with owners, and ask as needed to confirm that I am complying with and following the detailed care instructions. My partner & I want the animals to thrive in a stress-free environment. Also, we prioritize safety by keeping our home free of hazards that we know our furry friends can sometimes get a hold of undoubtedly! Additionally, I make sure to leave other’s homes as clean and organized as I found it, treating the environment with the same care and respect I would my own.
