About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. Feel free to send me a message about scheduling questions to see if we can work something out! :) I only offer dog sitting in your home because I’ve got too many animals at my house and your dog or cat’s safety is my biggest priority. I am diligent when it comes to following instructions (with medications, food allergies, special needs) as well as with making sure your home is all locked up when I leave.

About: Hi, we are Scott and Jenn. We are experienced dog people, but we don't have a dog right now, so we are available to give your pup(s) our undivided attention. Dogs have been a central part of both our lives from growing up with dog "siblings" to fostering and adopting dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. Big and small, from high-energy young pups to sweet old seniors. After our Doberman passed in 2022, we made the difficult decision not to get another dog right away. Since Scott retired, we spend about six months a year traveling in our RV to visit family across the country. It has been a truly wonderful experience; however, life without dogs isn't right! Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy spending time with dogs, while providing you peace of mind and your pets all the love and attention they deserve! My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day. We treat dogs like family. A friend once told us “If reincarnation is real, I want to come back as one of your dogs”. We spend lots of time doing enrichment activities with the dog we sit for. We also really enjoy walking, so we would absolutely love to take your dog for long walks!

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs since I was 10 years old and have done pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. I’ve worked with animals of all ages and have personally owned several different senior cats so I have experience with seniors! I work from home part time and my schedule is very flexible so I have plenty of time to care for your animals whether that be feeding, walking, playing, or house sitting. I will do my best to make sure your pet has everything it needs, as well as plenty of love and affection. I also will maintain whatever current schedules/protocols you have in place for your pet’s safety and well being.

About: I am currently receiving my second Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, and I work as an intern at KC Well Co in Kansas City! I've always loved taking care of animals and find so much joy in spending time with my own dog, Milo. I enjoy being active, especially walking in nature and exploring outdoor areas. Going to the dog park, walking on trails, and playing in my apartment's dog run are some of my favorite activities to do with pets I sit! I have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes, and am excited to learn more about puppies and senior dogs. It is important to me to treat every pet with the most respect and attention. I want the transition from owner to sitter for a pet to be stress free. I give every animal my all like they are my own! My schedule is currently open to repeat and one time clients with a great amount of flexibility on days and times, especially for overnight sitting in my home. I live in Kansas City, MO around the Plaza neighborhood. I am home most days at the moment but as I gain more clients at work, this will change. I would love to take care of your home as well as you're away. I am also comfortable with doing meetings before the booking to ensure your pet is comfortable with me in their environment or in mine. I am currently working part-time so your pup will receive lots of love and attention! I have my own dog who I never leave home for more than 5 hours at a time. I have grown accustomed to scheduling my day with my pup in mind and I’ll do the same for yours. I don’t have a yard but I do have a small dog run at my apartment and live in an area where walking is a breeze. I have my own dog that will be able to keep yours company if I’m ever out and about. Dogs are like family to me which means they can have all the cuddles on the couch and my bed!

I have experience with everything from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I’m great at picking up on what each pup needs—whether that’s a long walk, some playtime, or just a chill hang. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine this summer since I have some free time before my next clinical rotation. As a grad student, I love staying active between study sessions—going on walks, visiting parks with my own dog, and checking out new coffee spots around Kansas City. I’ve lived here for two years and love getting to know new pets (and their people!) while exploring the city. I’m very organized and attentive when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. I love learning and sticking to a routine that supports the pup. I’ll always respect your dog’s boundaries, whether that means keeping walks short and calm, limiting interactions with other dogs or people, or sticking closely to their comfort zone.
