“What a fantastic oasis for our pup! She had an amazing time here, was lovingly welcomed and well taken care of. We would have her stay again if we were in town longer. This family is fantastic and provides a wonderful environment for dogs. Thank you!”

“Tommy is an awesome rover! He’s good with all different kinds of dogs, he’s flexible and helped me when I was in a bind, and was so communicative with me all day! I can’t express enough how much I appreciated him texting me photos and keeping in contact with me throughout the day. It was hard to speak in person with him just because he kept interrupting/talking over me, but overall it was an amazing experience with Tommy. 100% will be booking with him again.”

“Kristopher was able to take Rocket last minute for a day session. Rocket had a fabulous time playing with so many new dogs and was really relaxed for the next few days after we got home. Thank you, Kristopher!”

“Cassie is the best! She cares deeply and is very attentive to Henry and I. I love all the photos and videos I get as well as the detailed River Card!”

“Alex takes such great care of our high-energy puppy. We have tried a few other Rover’s, but Alex is by far the best fit for our little dude! He has great communication, has been really flexible with our schedule, and really patient with our puppy. We will be using him as our go-to from now on! I can’t recommend him enough.”

“Susie and her wonderful family are absolutely a dream come true! I'm so happy I found them. I've used daycare facilities for my little pug, Olive, in the past and she used to come home semi-traumatized by the experience. Definitely not the case with Susie. The second we pulled into her driveway, Olive had her tail wagging and couldn't wait to spend the day with Susie and family! Susie was sooo sweet and I know her daughter loved little Olive too...I can't speak highly enough of them. Seriously, if you're debating who to go with for your doggy...go with Susie. She is kind, extremely flexible, experienced and has such a warm and inviting home. Thank you so much for taking care of my little fur baby...10/10 would recommend and will 100% be taking Olive to Susie for all future daycare!?❤”

“Buzz has been going to Steven’s for daycare and he is having THE BEST time. Steven and family have been taking care of Buzz as if he is one of their own. Great walks, fun adventures and a companion to spend the day with - what could be better! Thank you Steven and family for taking such great care of Buzz!”

“Grace did such a great job with my 3 month old puppy Willow! They played lots outside at their beautiful property, and Willow had a great time. She sent me sweet pics during her stay I arrived to pick her up happy as could be! So grateful for the exceptional care!”

“This was our 1st time leaving our 2 dogs with Roxie. A great experience. The dogs had a great time. Lots of photos through out the day, which we appreciated. Highly recommended. Excellent care.”

“With lots of young children attending, our relatives hosting the Christmas Day gathering asked that no guests bring their pets. Rather than leave our little guy by himself for that many hours, we turned to Rover - and Julie came to our rescue! We had done a meet-and-greet previously, so I felt that Django and Aspen would spend most of their time playing and chasing each other, and by all reports that's what they did. I must thank Julie again for taking care of my pup, and on Christmas to boot! I would not hesitate to recommend Julie as a dog-sitter.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.

“Finn seemed to really enjoy his time at Nicole and Colton’s. He came home a tired and relaxed pup. Great piece of mind for us that he was in good hands. He will definitely visit them again!”

About: Before I had my own dog, I helped family and neighbors with overnight care of their dogs for many years. I developed a soft heart for our furry friends. Now that my own pup has passed, I have time and love to give to yours. I work at home and have a flexible schedule. We will have plenty of time for walks and playing. I’m looking forward to meeting your dog. I have a small home with a fenced yard and I live across the street from a lovely park. I will only care for up to 2 dogs at a time so you can be sure your pet gets the care and attention they need.

“Paige was absolutely amazing and Mocha loved her and her animals! Paige took such great care of her and sent me sweet updates. So glad I can trust her to treat my pet as her own :)”

“Ava has been fantastic with my girl Penny! She sends me pictures throughout the day and when I pick her up she is exhausted from all the fun she had that day. Thank you Ava!”

“Dawne, Aaron and Charlie took care of our Cocoa so we could have a nice afternoon out. They sent a few pics to show us she was having a great time! Thanks so much!! We hope to see them again soon!”

About: We love animals and the fun they bring to our home! We currently have a 1 year-old female cavapoo and two cats which we adopted from the Humane Society. Within the last year, we took a break from Rover as we navigated first-time puppyhood. Prior to our puppy, we watched dogs and cats on Rover for about a year. We love going for family walks and taking the dogs along! During the colder months, we provide plenty of playtime in the home as our dog is full of energy! There is almost always someone at home to take care of the animals. My husband works seasonally and is home all winter and spring. We are very busy in the summers, therefore, we go inactive during that time. We live in a moderate sized home in a very friendly and walkable neighborhood. We take pride in our home and like to maintain a clean environment. We have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run around and play. Someone is almost always home with the exception of running errands or picking/dropping off our daughter at school. We will take care of your pet just as we would ours - which includes lots of loves and snuggles. If we take care of a pet at their home on a drop in basis, we will always leave the home just as we found it. We are a trustworthy family who respects others homes, pets, and belongings.

“Thank you Kevin for taking such good care of Maggie and taking her out on walks with other dogs for some great social time. I highly recommend you as you are caring, attentive and passionate about your services. You helped Maggie adjust in a new surrounding and your pictures of my lil 4lb dog enjoying her walk with a Great Dane was priceless. We will be seeing you again soon!”

About: A work from home mom and a local teacher dad with three littles will be the perfect place for your kid friendly pet to get plenty of love, attention, exercise, and snuggles while you’re away. While we wait for the perfect time to bring our own fur-baby into our home, we gladly welcome those who need love while their families are away. We are a high energy family and will keep your pet happy with lots of play, walks, and treats (some possibly of the human sort from the accidental droppings from the kids). We have a small fenced in yard and a private room for the pet if the family’s activities are too much and the doggo needs a place to themself. Plenty of photos will be taken and sent upon request or even if not requested ;) We are a busy family with lots of after school activities and busy weekends playing sports. Your pet won’t be hone alone for long, but there will be gaps in time they will need to be comfortable lounging around the house by themselves. Lots of toys, socks, shoes, etc are around the house and if your pet can’t resist chewing on human things, this might not be the right place for your family member. M-F I work from home and will have plenty of time to play with your pups and ensure they get potty breaks outside. Afternoons are busy with kids sports activities and we request that drop offs or pickups do not occur from 4-8PM. Weekends are also busy and we will be in and out of the house so if lots of action around the house. Your pet will have free range of the house unless you prefer they are crated. All pets MUST be kid friendly and enjoy playing with and being around active children.
