About: I've cared for pets since I was 16 years old. I helped my family, friends, and neighbors when they needed someone to take care of their pet(s). I've cared for a ton of pets ranging from fish, hermit crabs, birds, bunnies, gerbils, hamsters, cats, to dogs. I love dogs so much I created a dog blog on the side as a hobby. About: I grew up in a dog‑loving home and had the privilege of caring for several breeds over the years — first a Boxer, then a Siberian Husky, later a German Shepherd/Malamute mix, and eventually a Pomeranian. I live on an acre of land with a dog run and a peaceful neighborhood that’s ideal for daily walks. There’s even a small pond with geese right across the street, which many dogs find entertaining. Inside, the living room is designated as comfortable, pet‑friendly space where your dog can relax. I also provide a crate for dogs who prefer a cozy, enclosed sleeping area.

She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. About: I’ve had dogs since I was four years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something I truly love. I’ve always had a special connection with dogs, and my friends and family joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” because dogs seem to gravitate toward me everywhere I go. Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. About: I am a huge animal lover! I was a camp counselor at a daycare/boarding facility where dogs interacted and played together all day. I supervised up to 30+ dogs daily, and I have had hands-on experience with little and big dogs. I fed, cleaned, bathed, and administered medications that don't involve needles. I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and fish. I'm a huge animal lover, and I love children as well. I am not able to watch pets in my home, because of the pets I already have. However, I would be 100% willing to stay in your home to care for your beloved family member, or make visits. :)! I'm currently working as a 7th-grade English teacher in the Rockland County area from 9:00-3:40. I'm lucky enough to have awesome work hours that allow me to take care of pets as needed! Currently I can't watch other animals in my home because I have two cats of my own and a new puppy! All 3 of my animals are spoiled rotten! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age 5 when I was gifted my first pup. I love my dogs as if they were my children. I have 10yr old 80lb boxer mix and a 9mo poodle. About: I’ve trained many pups, and can tell you that it’s not fun or exciting but always rewarding. I know the signs of all health problems and can accommodate accordingly. Ever since having a dog myself I understand how much you have to sacrifice for them, much like a child. Although a child doesn’t poop or pee on the floor, or chew up the baseboards. I will always fit pet care into my schedule wherever I can. I can walk them right before class, or take them out to play while I do homework. If there is a fenced yard I will sit outside and watch to see if your dog will get into any trouble. I have a super reactive dog and will never leave him unsupervised even if it’s just on the front porch with the gate closed.

About: I am new to online pet care! I have had pets all my life and have pet sit family and friends fur babies for over 20 years! Last 5 years I have been pet sitting outside of family & friends pets. I am experienced in small-medium sized dogs mainly. I've never pet sit a cat before but i do have a cat of my own! Currently, the pets i have in the house are two dogs, 1 cat and 1 reptile. I work full time, 2 days out of the week I work from home. My hours are flexible so if changes are needed no worries! I do not work weekends. At my home: I have a fenced in yard. If your pet has special requirements i will follow those requirements without a problem. My home will be their home during their stay. My house isn’t set up like a boarding school. They will hang with us in the living room, follow us throughout the house if they want too. If you have special rules, I will follow them. I have two dogs, the dogs i pet-sit would have to be ok with dogs. I have a cat who mainly remains downstairs with my son. If your dog does not like cats that will not be a problem. Clients home: your house, your rules! i will follow the schedule you have for your pets!

About: In addition to having my own family dog, I grew up taking care of other family & neighbors’ pets. This included regular walks, feeding, and overnight care. I’ve now been doing Rover for the last 6 years, taking care of dozens of dogs and cats, most of which return for recurring care — from drops ins to daycare and week+ long overnight stays.
