About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

I pride myself on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pets feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Whether you need daily walks, overnight care, or just someone to keep your furry friend company, I’m here to help — with experience, kindness, and plenty of belly rubs. Let’s make tails wag and hearts happy Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. With over 16 years of experience in pet sitting and dog walking — and a background working in a veterinary clinic — caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly love. I’ve shaped my schedule around being there when your pets need me most, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays. I approach each day with patience, reliability, and a calm energy that animals respond to. Your pets’ comfort and well-being are always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In your home, I always respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s routine — from feeding schedules and walk times to their favorite toys and nap spots. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I offer a cozy, clean, and peaceful space where they can relax, play, and enjoy lots of one-on-one attention. About: You can count on: 📸 Quality photos + thoughtful visit notes 🙆♀️ Flexible and responsive communication ❤️ Experienced care for cats, dogs, chickens, turtles, fish, and even rats. I love them all! I am Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross, Certified Pet Expert (CPS-DW), and an active member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). I am currently working on becoming a CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter. Having grown up with pets, I understand they are members of the family. I cared for my sister’s former miniature poodle Sandy and have grown up with various breeds like chihuahuas, a dachshund. I am a proud auntie of a puppy German Shorthaired Pointer and help my siblings care for her (puppies need 100% supervision please see my availability details) . Though I do not own pets anymore due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I miss being around them. My friends told me about Rover and I jumped right in! I offer personalized care, including daily walks and playtime. I ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for as if it’s one of my own! As a Certified Pet Expert, I believe in using positive reinforcement instead of negative methods like e-collars or leash corrections, as they can harm trust and lead to aggression. While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time at a restaurant 3–4 shifts a week 4-5 hours long each shift, and my schedule changes weekly, so feel free to reach out to see if my days off line up with your needs. I understand puppies and certain dogs need constant supervision so reach out to see when I have time off work! For house sits, I may need to step out if I’m scheduled for a shift; but drop-ins are usually easier to schedule around. I keep my availability updated, but exact times may vary a bit week to week. I'm flexible and always try to work around your pet’s needs especially now that I’m working fewer hours during the summer! For drop-ins for cats I take care of pet duties like food/water and the litter box. Then I either play with them or snuggle. I don’t mind going a bit over time to build trust, play, and spend time with them depending on their needs (: While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

About: Hi there! I have a degree in animal science from UC Davis circa 2023 and I'm now back to complete my Master's of Public Health -- and hopefully take care of your fur baby. I've worked as an animal welfare consultant for UCSF, as a vet assistant for vet clinics and animal shelters across Yolo County, and completed an internship at Oakland Zoo followed by some time as an educator for young kids on how to care for exotic animals. Beyond that, I have my family's own three babies: Biscuit (16 year old dog), Mooncake (5 year old cat), and Misu (1 year old cat). I'm happy to chat with you about your baby's specialized care, whether that means medication administration or extra slow walks before the Davis heat sets in. I am currently in grad school so my schedule is flexible, but I live close to campus so I can always come home to check on the babies. I always treat others' homes with the best respect I can give. My job is not only to take care of your pet to the best of my abilities but to take care of the environment they live in.

About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! My research schedule is very flexible so I would love to come care for your puppy anytime of day :) I am happy to come take your dog for a mini adventure, hang out at your house, or anything in between! If your dog would enjoy a furry friend, my dog can tag along or she can stay at home. I have experience with crate training dogs, walking/playing with reactive dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs.

About: Since I was eight years old, I’ve had four dogs in my life that have been my entire world - so I understand the importance of finding the right person to care for my babies. I am confident that I am the right person to take care of your pet, because not only do I have a deep love and understanding of animals, but I also have practical experience caring for them. I have over three years experience working in a stress free certified small animal clinic - this means all the employees go through training to understand the best way to care for animals which minimizes fear in strange and stressful situations. Through this clinic, I gained not only medical, but also senior and disabled dog experience working in our rehabilitation center. Additionally, I have experience caring for large animals (cows, sheep, etc.) from an internship with a veterinarian on a local ranch, and wildlife from an internship working with cheetahs in South Africa. This upcoming fall I will be entering my third year as a veterinary student. While prior experience caring for dogs is important, the main reason I know I'm the right sitter for your pet is my deep love for animals of all kind. I believe dogs, cats, cows, chickens, and any other animal deserve the respect we give to humans, and I will respect and love your pet in this same way. As I am currently in veterinary school, I have time to drop in between or after classes. I have much greater availability on the weekends. When coming to your home, I will only take your pet outside if indicated and always on a leash. On walks I do my best to work with your neighborhood to stay on side streets rather than main roads, and always make sure a collar/leash/harness is sturdy beforehand. I am trained to care for special needs animals, and can medicate orally or by injection if needed. I am also animal CPR trained (but hope I will never need to use it).

About: I grew up with a bird and dog, and a cat was recently added to the family (I do not live with any pets currently). I backpack trained the cat, made toys and fortresses for the cat, took the dog on walks and hikes, whistled to the bird, and gave all the animals as many pets as I can! I've additionally done lots of pet sitting over the years for friends and family: cats, small dogs, medium dogs, rats, mice, aquariums, and insects. I don't mind reptiles either! I have a flexible schedule, spare for Thursdays when I have class (but still available for evenings after 6pm). I am willing to wake up early or stay up late for the job. I make sure to take things slow when needed in order to prevent stress for the animals. I keep a consistent schedule for feeding and cleaning. And I try to engage with the animals as much as possible when they are up for it. There is a tendency to be more easy going but I amp up the energy for playtime and walks. I like to walk in general, so I can go far for those higher energy dogs!

“Michelle was flexible and available to “meet-and-greet” then walk our dogs on pretty short notice. She helped care for our pups on a day when our schedules meant a mid-day walk was needed…THANK YOU!”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats for nearly 10 years. I have been a pet sitter, worked at dog daycares, and worked as a veterinary assistant in dog and cat clinics as well as exotic ones. I can administer medications as needed. I am currently working part time at a vet clinic, but I am free to check in on any animals multiple times daily, and spend nights with pets as well. I am comfortable handling animals and giving medications or any other treatments. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats through pet sitting and working at vet clinics.

About: Hi! I absolutely love spending time with animals. I have 4 years of experience taking care of and boarding cats and dogs, but I have had pet geckos and parakeets in the past so I have experience taking care of a wide range of pets. I have 1 dog and 2 cats at my childhood home— they are the sweetest, but now I’m away at college! I am responsible, reliable, and truly care about the animals I take care of. I worked for rover over the summer and it was the best time of my life. Now that I’m all settled in in college, I’m ready to start back up again! Let me know if you are looking for someone to take great care of your pets! Starting today (Nov 1) I am completely free! I was working as a nanny but the kids just started preschool! Occasionally I will babysit for friends/ neighbors, but for the most part I can give all my time to the pets I’m taking care of! Now that I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, I’m only able to housesit, dog walk, and do drop in visits. I will miss boarding pets but I am still excited to take care and spend time with pets with drop in visits, walks, and housesitting:) I am very active and always have plenty of energy to play with pets or take them on walks and adventures!

About: I have volunteered at shelters all my life where I would play and walk the shelter dogs. I would also food prep and make toys I’m a full time college student and working part time as an animal care staff in a lab, so I am usually busy in the mornings. But my job allows me to be very flexible with scheduling which means more time to play and care for animals on the side! The biggest thing for me when caring for a pet is making sure they feel confident and comfortable with me. Less stress meanings happier dog.

When working, I am typically at home to feed in the morning and evening. I have a designated areas in the common areas for litter, food, and bed(s). Your pet is free to sleep where they are comfortable and used to and my roommates and I are very patient and have experience fostering cats.

“Sydney was fantastic! She was timely, responsible, friendly, communicative, and just all-around perfect! We were so lucky to have found Sydney to walk our dog when we were out of town. Thank you, Sydney!”

About: I have a ton of experience working with a variety of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior, lazy to high maintenance, etc. My life revolves around my pets, and I am eager to share that passion with yours. I have a lot of experience with senior care as well-my pup requires a lot of at home treatments in her final months of life. I'm currently a PhD student, getting my degree in animal welfare, so I have relatively flexible hours. I don't have a set work schedule, so let me know what works best for you and I can likely work around that :) my day to day already revolves around my pet, and has for basically all of my adult life. I have a fenced yard, fully baby-proofed house, and pet-experienced roommates. My cat is my only current pet, and he is good with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.

Sarah H.
“Sarah took excellent care of my dog Peanut. Peanut's a senior dog and she was patient with his needs, and responsible with his medication that he'd needed at the time. Sarah has petsat for me multiple times, and every time Peanut has wanted to stay with her longer!”

Susannah L.

“My dog enjoyed the walk with Susannah!”

Michelle K.
“Michelle was flexible and available to “meet-and-greet” then walk our dogs on pretty short notice. She helped care for our pups on a day when our schedules meant a mid-day walk was needed…THANK YOU!”

Rachel W.
“Rachel has been taking care of my pets for years now, and has always been very responsible. I trust her with dogs, cats, and any other animals. She always is looking out for my pets, and making sure they stay healthy.”

Devi J.
“Devi communicated well before, during, and after walking our dog; and she took great care of our dog. Thank you, Devi!”

Olivia H.
“I have always been happy when Olivia pet/house sits for me. My dogs love her and are always happy to see her and I hear from neighbors that she does indeed take the dogs for two walks a day. I have two dogs, four cats and five chickens and she manages it all! Olivia is a kind and responsible young woman and I couldn’t recommend her more.”

Bray K.
“Bray has the best interactions with dogs I have ever seen. I have had two dogs that were very territorial to everyone else and would try and bite people, but when they met bray for the first time nothing happened at all. The reason why is because she has tactics to connect with any dog there is. I have seen her with dogs that have a history of biting or being aggressive to others, but when she arrives they act calm and collected. She is also very smart with the dogs with giving out commands. She makes a command to the dog over and over again until the dog gets it right. If you want someone that can bond with a dog immediately and take the best care of them, I would pick her over anyone else.”

hanna g.
“I hired Hanna to watch my two dogs for a week. I have two huskies that love to go on long walks and play fetch. She came to my house twice a day to provide them with food and water and a potty break. Additionally, she took them to the park to play with them daily. She was a responsible and reliable pet sitter and I would definitely hire her again!”

Amreen K.
“Amreen is a truly responsible and loving pet caregiver who goes above and beyond to make sure every animal feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She took the time to understand my cat’s personality, routine, and preferences, which made a huge difference in his comfort while I was away. I appreciated her regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout the entire stay. It was clear from the start that Amreen has a genuine love for animals and treats them like family. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

Mia H.
“I’ve had the pleasure of trusting Mia H. to care for my three dogs, and I can honestly say she is one of the most loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitters I’ve ever met. Mia has a natural way with animals — she’s gentle, patient, and always attentive to their needs. My dogs absolutely adore her, and I always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her caring hands. Mia goes above and beyond to ensure that my pets are happy, safe, and well-loved, and her excellent communication and reliability make her an outstanding choice for pet sitting or dog walking. She genuinely cares about animals and treats them like family. I can’t recommend her enough — any pet parent would be lucky to have her caring for their furry friends!”

Sydney S.
“Sydney was fantastic! She was timely, responsible, friendly, communicative, and just all-around perfect! We were so lucky to have found Sydney to walk our dog when we were out of town. Thank you, Sydney!”

Olivia R.

“Olivia was responsive and wonderful. She cared for my dog so well and was super communicative.”

Isabelle M.
“Isabelle is an incredibly responsible and loving pet caregiver. She looked after my cats, Harley and Cleo, with such care and attention. She made sure they stayed on their feeding schedule, kept their space clean, and even took time to play with them every day while I was out of town. It was clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and treats them like her own. I couldn't have asked for someone more caring and responsible to petsit my cats.”
