“Glen took the time to get to know each dog and let each dog get to know him before agreeing to take us on as clients. We returned home to find a peaceful, clean home and, more importantly, very happy pups.”

“Jake took wonderful care of our dog and our home. We have an anxious dog who is quite skeptical of strangers, but he immediately warmed up to Jake and was very comfortable around him. As someone who used to work in the vet field, I could immediately tell that Jake was a dog person and it warmed my heart to see how quickly our dog bonded with him. We left multiple instructions for the care of our somewhat high maintenance dog, and Jake followed them to a T without any concerns. Jake was very punctual and provided us with stellar communication before, during, and after the weekend. He sent us great pictures, took our dog on multiple walks, and was attentive enough to notice many nuances of our dog’s personality. He was incredibly respectful of our home, leaving the place tidier than he found it.”

“My Bella loved Ann the moment they met. Ann was responsible, respectful , kind and calm. I will definitely trust and ask Ann to watch my fur baby again when we go away! She was on time and sent me photos and updates. Thank you so much !!”

“Amanda was awesome with Angel, took great care of my home and sent me constant updates. She followed instructions well and was accommodating when our flight was delayed. Highly recommend and would work with her again.”

“Melissa took care of our three babies. Our dog Pita is a bit high maintenance due to her allergies. Melissa was patient and provided excellent care. Dewey, our youngest cat is very shy. It usually takes a while for him to warm up to new people. He had no problem getting to know Melissa within minutes. She gave our other cat Boogie lots of love and attention as well. We definitely will ask Melissa to stay with Pita, Boogie and Dewey the next time we go away. We cannot thank her enough!”

“Lauren recently stayed at our home from Thursday through Sunday to care for our dog, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the start, she was highly communicative and dependable, keeping us updated regularly with thoughtful messages and photos of our dog throughout the day. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our pet was in such capable and caring hands. We returned to a well-kept home—clean, orderly, and exactly as we left it—which speaks volumes to Lauren’s respect and attention to detail. Most importantly, our dog was clearly well cared for, happy, and relaxed. We truly appreciated the level of care and professionalism Lauren brought to the role, and we would gladly welcome her back anytime. Highly recommend!”

“Makayla was amazing! Our dog was pretty hesitant and unwelcoming at first but Makayla was really patient and they were best friends by the end of her stay. She was super responsive and great at sending video and photo updates!”

“I found Ashlynn to be a very responsible person who truly enjoys caring for animals. She is very caring and loves playing with your pet. I would highly recommend her for pet sitting. She does a great job and your pets will love her too.”

“Sophia did a PHENOMENAL job!! I had a dog sitter cancel on me before a business trip with a 2 hour notice. Sophia last second came in and saved the day ! My pets absolutely loved her and she gave them great attention and care! I will 100% be booking her services again !”

About: We’ve provided care for both our own and others' pets since we were children. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted us to feed, water, play with, walk, and board their pets when they travel. Having lived both in the country and in town, we have both loved and cared for our own and others' cats and dogs for several years in several environments. We both have flexible working schedules, especially in the summer. We have plenty of time to devote to your beloved pet and are used to juggling multiple tasks. My husband and I live in a three bedroom house in Carol Stream, just outside Wheaton. We have a large yard with a 3-sided fence in which pets would be very safe with proper supervision. Pets would be welcome to lay and sleep wherever they are most comfortable - on our furniture, in one of our two beds, or in their own beds or crates. We are animal lovers and have had our own animals in our home. We have welcomed many a new pet into our home, so your pet would receive our love and care while staying at our home.

“Our dogs were very well cared for during our trip. One of our pups has high anxiety and is high energy, and she's very resistant to change. Grace was fantastic with her (in addition to our two senior boys with their own range of issues), and we couldn't be happier with the care they received!”

“We are so appreciate Crissy was able to stay with Cyrus on such short notice and take care of him while we were away. She was very communicative, spent lots of time with him, and even went above and beyond by trying to take him for a walk, which is no easy feat. It was apparent that she genuinely cared about his well-being and we could tell he wasn’t lonely when we returned. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet!”

About: I grew up in a family of animal lovers—cats, dogs, birds, even pet cows, turtles, chickens, hermit crabs, and more! Pets have always been family to us, and they were deeply loved and cared for. I’ve been caring for animals my whole life and still do occasional pet sitting. Now, I’m excited to offer my care through Rover! I’ll go any length to keep your pets happy—whether that means giving baths, going on long walks, or showering them with love and plenty of pets. I’d love to treat your pets like the family they are—because they deserve the very best. I’m a part-time college student who also works and babysits, so pet sitting is the perfect flexible gig for me! My schedule changes week to week, but I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening visits most days, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. I can do drop-ins, walks, feedings, baths, playtime, and give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. Weekends and some overnights are also available with notice—just reach out, and I’ll do my best to fit your needs! When caring for your pet, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I’ll stick to their routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding at specific times, going for walks, cleaning up after them, or just giving them extra cuddles and playtime. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give your pet not just care, but genuine companionship and kindness every visit.

“Miray was respectful of our home and was very kind to take Sandy to her grooming appointment. It was lovely to know that Rudy the cat had been napping with Miray. Miray had taken care of the cat brushings, playtimes, complicated feedings and litter box.”

About: I am a high-energy individual who loves all types of dogs! Rover is my first "official" platform, but I have been pet-sitting and caring for dogs since I was young. As I got older, I gained more responsibility and more training with the family dog. I have had a lot of experience with adopted dogs, young and old, and promise to provide the best care while you are away. My parent's current dog that I care for often also has given me experience with regular medication/monitoring health concerns while also providing superior care. If your dog loves to play outside, go for a run, soak in the sun and play tug of war (but also sneak a nap in too), I am your pet-sitter! I am currently a fitness coach that works non-normal hours, so I can spend significant time with your furry baby! I can also stay long hours overnight if needed to keep your pet relaxed while you are away. Depending on the day, your pet could be alone for 3-6 hours a day with me. I will care for the pet's health concerns (including medication), make sure they have ample time outside (weather dependent) for potty time and exercise, and will care for their physical health if requested (ie brush coat or give bath). I will ask about how they interact with other dogs, people, animals so I can protect your pet and keep them safe.
