About: Hello, Please let me introduce myself. My name is Jan, and I have tons of experience both personal and professional taking care of pets. Whether it’s been week long overnight stays in the pet owners residence or my own, dog walking for several pet owners for a mid-day walk or just stopping in to feed pets and spend quality time, I’ve done it all with love and enthusiasm. I am also a doting grandmother to 3 wonderful doggies and a cat. My sweet cat, Bella, passed away a few months ago and I miss her terribly. I’m a single woman, reliable and trustworthy. I can provide several recommendations from past customers and friends/family in which I have provided an excellent service to their pets. You won’t be disappointed.

“Lauren was fantastic! She was super respectful of our home and Sage had a great time. She was very flexible with some last minute medications our puppy had to take, and we’d definitely use her again!”

About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised my rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June but he will probably always be my best friend. For a time, I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Carefully and comfortably. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or an old dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. If it could be all I did, all the time - I think that I would like that just fine. I’ll need a heads up at first to secure prep, but after that I could spend virtually all of my time with your companions - needing only to stop momentarily for supplies. Generally, boarding an animal at my own home is a much bigger ask, if it’s to be overnight. But during the day if they were to be transported here and then picked up again, then it’s fairly simple. Massasoit State Park is half a mile from my house and offers a great destination - all the dogs I’ve taken care of and brought there have loved it. At a home that the pet is used to is really a non-issue, (it helps if the owner is there when I meet the companion in question). Overnight and for extended lengths, though - it would only be a matter of making sure I’d have what I’d need for the length of time, so I would need just a little prep time.

“Rebecca was the most amazing house sitter. Not only did she exceed my expectations for a first ever sitter for my 3 rambunctious large dogs, but more importantly, my dogs just gravitated to her as if she was a family member. Rebecca arrived on time, and as this was our first meet and greet, she was very receptive of my fur babies routine and individual quirks. Daily, I received an update and pictures of my crew, and if there were questions or clarification needed, she did not hesitate to ask. When I arrived home, my house was clean, the bedding washed, and the dishes in the dishwasher, and to 3 very happy dogs! A dream sitter for sure and I highly recommend Rebecca as a house and dog sitter. She will not disappoint and will exceed all expectations. I will be using her in the future for sure. A truly special animal whisperer! My dogs just loved her!”

About: Your pets safety and happiness is my top priority. I have experience working in multiple doggy daycares, volunteering at a cat shelter, and pet sitting for friends and family. I am familiar with all types of breeds, big & small, energetic, couch potato, reactive and non reactive. Helping animals has always been a great passion of mine and I strive for new challenges to face. I currently work PT as a Dietary Aid making my schedule very limited monday’s, thursdays and every other weekends. I have more availability on the other days of the week, (walks, drop in visits, and overnight care). Dogs tend to be more comfortable in their own homes so I provide those services to ensure the happiness and safety of all. For every visit, I bring a pet first aid kit, extra leashes, towels, treats, water/water bowls, tick removal kit, pooper scooper, etc. Your pet will receive the spoiled treatment with me!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since childhood — from cats and dogs to goats, horses, birds, and reptiles. I grew up volunteering at farms, sanctuaries, and shelters, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. Since 2020, I’ve been providing pet care in a more focused, consistent way. I’m confident with asthma meds, general medicine distribution, nail trims, and baths for both small animals and pets of all sizes. Whether it’s a cuddly cat, energetic pup, or shy chinchilla, I meet every animal with patience, care, and respect. • Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am – 8:30pm (full open availability) • Thursday: 8:30am – 7:30pm (full open availability) • Sunday: 4:00pm – 8:30pm (only available after volunteering) I treat every pet like one of my own — with patience, respect, and a calm presence. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I prioritize safety by following routines closely, keeping environments clean and low-stress, and making sure pets always have access to fresh water, comfort, and enrichment. I’m mindful of unique needs like medications, shy temperaments, and special diets, and I always communicate openly so you feel secure and connected while you’re away.

“Tahicha took excellent care of my little Kira! She was super adaptable when I found out that Kira would need to be on medication the weekend that Tahicha cared for her too and made sure to give it to Kira. She also was very communicative. Would definitely have her sit again!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 14. I went to an agricultural high school for small animal science in Dighton MA, where I got to work hands on in doggy daycare, grooming and more, with dogs of all ages! I have been a dog sitter for many pets and I think it is such a fun experience! I am very comfortable with going on walks with your pet, as well as in house pet sitting. I am able to visit and offer walks 2-3 times a day, depending on my schedule. I am in college for Pre-Veterinary science and I have a passion for working with animals. I will guarantee the the best paw-sible care for your pet and treat them as my own! I am currently a college student in Maine and live in Massachusetts. I am available over the summer and on breaks. I am available on Tuesdays and on weekends. I have a fenced in back yard and two friendly dogs. If I’m going to someone else’s home, I make sure to let the dog know I am there to make sure I don’t startle them. I also will give them time to adjust because meeting new people may be difficult for some dogs.

About: I have a deep love and respect for all animals. I’ve always lived with pets - cats and dogs. I’m experienced caring for the pets of my family and friends. I am a runner and take my own dog all the time. Happy to take your four-legged friend along as well! I currently work as an EMS dispatcher overnights Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I have flexibility on my off days, and can manage some hours between my night shifts at the end of the week as needed. If you need help during hours I do not look available, please reach out and ask. I am happy to meet your schedule needs when possible! I do not offer overnight services typically, but have on a case by case basis. In addition to walks and drop ins, I do home care during the day in clients’ homes.

“Julius is so kind and is wonderful with my pup! I am here traveling for work and feel safe know he is with such a kind person!”

Janice B.
“Janice saved a very important trip for me five years ago, and she has kept my two small dogs several times since then. I had planned a trip to France to visit with new in-laws and become better acquainted. I hired a dog sitter and thought all details were in place, when, two days before I was due to leave, the new pet sitter informed me that she could not stay with my dogs, but would look in on them every day. I was stunned. This was not the arrangement we’d made and I didn’t know what to do. Someone mentioned that Janice was reliable and honest, and she loved dogs. Of course I called her immediately. She came over to meet my dogs the next days, and within half an hour I had hired her. She was amazing. The dogs were very well cared for while I was gone. They were happy and healthy, clean and energetic. They’d obviously had a vacation too. After that trip Janice has been our go to sitter. The dogs are deliriously happy when they see her, and that makes my leaving a lot easier. Call her immediately. You can rest assured that your dog will be loved and cared for, and will have great fun while you’re away.”
