About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised my rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June but he will probably always be my best friend. For a time, I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Carefully and comfortably. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or an old dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. If it could be all I did, all the time - I think that I would like that just fine. I’ll need a heads up at first to secure prep, but after that I could spend virtually all of my time with your companions - needing only to stop momentarily for supplies. Generally, boarding an animal at my own home is a much bigger ask, if it’s to be overnight. But during the day if they were to be transported here and then picked up again, then it’s fairly simple. Massasoit State Park is half a mile from my house and offers a great destination - all the dogs I’ve taken care of and brought there have loved it. At a home that the pet is used to is really a non-issue, (it helps if the owner is there when I meet the companion in question). Overnight and for extended lengths, though - it would only be a matter of making sure I’d have what I’d need for the length of time, so I would need just a little prep time.

Not only did she exceed my expectations for a first ever sitter for my 3 rambunctious large dogs, but more importantly, my dogs just gravitated to her as if she was a family member. Rebecca arrived on time, and as this was our first meet and greet, she was very receptive of my fur babies routine and individual quirks. Daily, I received an update and pictures of my crew, and if there were questions or clarification needed, she did not hesitate to ask. When I arrived home, my house was clean, the bedding washed, and the dishes in the dishwasher, and to 3 very happy dogs! A dream sitter for sure and I highly recommend Rebecca as a house and dog sitter. She will not disappoint and will exceed all expectations. I will be using her in the future for sure. About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 14. I went to an agricultural high school for small animal science in Dighton MA, where I got to work hands on in doggy daycare, grooming and more, with dogs of all ages! I have been a dog sitter for many pets and I think it is such a fun experience! I am very comfortable with going on walks with your pet, as well as in house pet sitting. I am able to visit and offer walks 2-3 times a day, depending on my schedule. I am in college for Pre-Veterinary science and I have a passion for working with animals. I will guarantee the the best paw-sible care for your pet and treat them as my own! I am currently a college student in Maine and live in Massachusetts. I am available over the summer and on breaks. I am available on Tuesdays and on weekends. I have a fenced in back yard and two friendly dogs. If I’m going to someone else’s home, I make sure to let the dog know I am there to make sure I don’t startle them. I also will give them time to adjust because meeting new people may be difficult for some dogs.

About: I have a deep love and respect for all animals. I’ve always lived with pets - cats and dogs. I’m experienced caring for the pets of my family and friends. I am a runner and take my own dog all the time. Happy to take your four-legged friend along as well! I currently work as an EMS dispatcher overnights Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I have flexibility on my off days, and can manage some hours between my night shifts at the end of the week as needed. If you need help during hours I do not look available, please reach out and ask. I am happy to meet your schedule needs when possible! I do not offer overnight services typically, but have on a case by case basis. In addition to walks and drop ins, I do home care during the day in clients’ homes.
