“A wonderful family to watch our furry family member. Bama received top notch care and we enjoyed a flexible schedule. If we have a need for our fur baby to be looked after while we are in Florida, we will not hesitate to use Daniel and Jessica again.”

“Nicolas and his wife were very responsive. My request was very last minute and they were readily accessible. I could tell my dog enjoyed staying with them. Without a doubt I will be dropping off my dog with them if I need it”

“Jaritza was great. She made sure our anxious husky felt comfortable during her care and gave us updates throughout the day. I’ll continue using her services in the future so I’ll definitely recommend her.”

“Julianne was amazing with our 9-month-old puppy! He spent three days in daycare at her apartment, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Julianne was fantastic with him — attentive, caring, and clearly comfortable with puppies. One of the highlights was that Kobe got to spend his days playing with her adorable dog, Molly, which he absolutely loved. Julianne also sent multiple updates and photos throughout each day, which I really appreciated. It was so nice being able to see my puppy while missing him and know he was happy and having fun. She gave us so much peace of mind knowing Kobe was not only well cared for, but also enjoying himself. I would highly recommend Julianne to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter, and I will definitely be using her again on my next work trip!”

“Amazing! This was my first time using Rover and it was last minute on my part. Gerard was responsive, kind, and accommodating. The dogs were in great hands. If I lived in the area, I would rebook without hesitation!”

“Alicia and her family are the absolute best. Daisy is so loved and so well cared for it makes my heart happy. Alicia's whole family is involved in caring for her. It is a wonderful feeling when you drop your dog off that they are just as happy to see Alicia and her family as she is when I pick her up. Daisy will miss them over the next couple of weeks due to my schedule, and home needs, but repeat visits are definitely in her future. Recommend Alicia 100%”

About: I have always had a pet, even when I was a child. When my dog of 17 years passed away I began fostering dogs. I could not stand not having one around to take care of. Now that we have adopted a dog I love pet sitting. Its something I have always done for my friends and family. Fostering gave me a lot of experience with different personality types. I have also gained experience with seniors and puppies. I am currently a stay at home Mom so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I am home most of the time and can let them out every couple hours. I love taking walks as well. I have a backyard but it is not fenced, so I will let them out on a leash. I have a 1 year old minature poodle who is obsessed with other dogs. I have two young children who are very respectful of dogs from our time fostering.
About: As a devoted dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring for your pet. I have experience caring for small dogs, including pets that are anxious, sensitive, or need extra attention and patience. I love creating a cozy and stress free experience where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos, because I know peace of mind matters just as much for pet parents too 🐾 I work from home full-time, so I give pets in my care lots of attention, love, companionship, supervision, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. I treat every pet like family and do my best to create a loving and low-stress environment. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and each pet’s individual personality and needs.
“I knew I left Mason in excellent care!! Tahrena and family greeted us with such warmth I know Mason felt welcomed. Thank you so much Tahrena and family, I know Mason had an awesome day.”

“Sarah was great! She was very attentive to my two dogs needs, one is a Beagle who will eat anything and everything in sight, but she made sure there was nothing he could get into. Both dogs seemed happy and content when we picked them up. I highly recommend Sarah’s services.”

About: Friends and family members have always trusted me with their pets from spending the day with them to just going to feed them a couple times a day. I worked at a doggy daycare for some time helping with outside time, making sure everyone was being fed on time, entertaining the dogs, and providing extra cuddles! I am currently working morning weekends at another job and starting sonography school in November. Therefore I am pretty available during the week for your furbaby's needs! I make sure I follow instructions very carefully so that your furbaby is always happy. I prefer to be provided with a detailed summary of what you expect of me and how I can make sure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to express my gratitude to Giovani for taking care of our fur babies, Sky and Sunny, on such short notice! We brought them to his place, and they settled in beautifully. Giovani was welcoming and attentive, ensuring they felt at home. It was great to see them playing and enjoying their time there. I knew they were in safe hands, which eased my mind while I was away. Highly recommend Giovani for pet-sitting—he truly cares about the animals! Thank you again!”

Julianne has been absolutely amazing with Choco. He has special needs and is currently paralyzed, so leaving him with someone else was something I was incredibly nervous about. From the very beginning, Julianne put my mind at ease. She was attentive, compassionate, and went above and beyond with his care. Her communication was outstanding; I received regular updates, lots of pictures, and she paid close attention to every detail of his routine and needs. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Choco and treated him like one of her own. The peace of mind she gave me was priceless. Knowing Choco was safe, loved, and receiving such wonderful care allowed me to focus on work without constantly worrying. I truly can’t thank Julianne enough for everything she did. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive sitter, especially for pets with special medical needs.

Tina was amazing and so caring for our puppy! She was continuously updating us with videos and pictures. Which helped me feel more comfortable knowing bear was staying at a good place. I would highly recommend to others that need someone to watch their puppy:)

Even though the stay was only a few hours, it was clear that Monica was very attentive and observant. Chira has a slight shake in her right leg, and the fact that Monica noticed it really showed me how closely she pays attention to the dogs in her care. I am glad Sunny allowed Chira to occupy some of her space. Will definitely be back - this time for an overnight stay. Thanks to Monica and family

We weren't able to do a meet and greet with Naif as it was a last minute request. After reading his reviews I felt comfortable that Chira would enjoy his day care visit and I was correct. I am glad that Naif took Chira out for walks. I needed her to get some of that energy out. We will be seeing you again.

We are happy with the care provided for Juno for one day daycare. We would like to send Juno again whenever we are in need. Juno came home happy and healthy. Photos and updates were shared after the daycare ended while Juno was with us. Photos and updates during the daycare would have been impactful as we were eager to get the updates. All ended well and Nicolas spouse is very approachable and polite. We could not get a chance to meet Nicolas during Juno’s short stay.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
