“Daniel took care of Oli as if she were his own. She's really happy with him and she's always looking forward to another dog day care with him. Oli gets really excited when she sees him and goes directly to him, which is a good sign. I really appreciate what he's doing while I'm at work. He also sends me pictures and videos of her during the day, which is always appreciated. Totally recommend!”

“Alicia was AMAZING!!! I am so very happy Mia stayed with her. Alicia communicated with me, was very accommodating even when I asked to get Mia later than the previously scheduled time, and she is very nice. She has a great personality and goes the extra mile!! Mia will be returning to Alicia for more doggy day care. I thank Alicia and her family for taking such awesome care of my fur baby! 🐶”

“Elizabeth took the BEST care of our doggy. Biscuit is a senior dog and she was so attentive to his needs. Lots of photos and updates. He loved being on a farm and being able to have playtime with his new friends in the large fenced yard. He looked so relaxed and happy in every photo and video and I know he can’t wait to spend time there again. Highly recommend Elizabeth!”

You're welcome to board any day of the week. We have a friendly senior dog ready to keep your furry friend company! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 15 and when I went off to college I was a dog walker/watcher for a few of the employees while they worked. I have watched 6 dogs at the same time before and all of my friends & family trust me to watch their pets. I work from home full-time so I am readily able to help with anything the pets need. Since I can work from wherever watching from my home or the pet owners home wouldn’t change anything in my normal routine. I have a fenced in yard and three very friendly, playful pups in the house. Plenty of space inside and outside for all pets to play around or even just relax. I love to play and snuggle all pets and am always on top of feeding or potty time.
About: I provide reliable, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Experienced with puppies, seniors, and special diets, I ensure a safe, happy environment while you're away! As a busy mom and business owner, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets. Pet care is something I intentionally schedule into my day, making sure every visit is consistent, unrushed, and full of attention. I truly enjoy it—it’s a peaceful and rewarding part of my routine. My goal is to make things feel easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, potty breaks, walks, and play—so they feel secure and comfortable. I’m very attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always keep communication open with updates and photos. Whether in your home or mine, I create a calm, clean, and caring environment so you can fully relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with this sitter! She took amazing care of Aspen over the two days and kept me updated, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Aspen can be a little particular at times, but she was very patient, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable. When I picked her up, Aspen was relaxed, happy, and clearly well taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy sit”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to express my gratitude to Giovani for taking care of our fur babies, Sky and Sunny, on such short notice! We brought them to his place, and they settled in beautifully. Giovani was welcoming and attentive, ensuring they felt at home. It was great to see them playing and enjoying their time there. I knew they were in safe hands, which eased my mind while I was away. Julianne has been absolutely amazing with Choco. He has special needs and is currently paralyzed, so leaving him with someone else was something I was incredibly nervous about. From the very beginning, Julianne put my mind at ease. She was attentive, compassionate, and went above and beyond with his care. Her communication was outstanding; I received regular updates, lots of pictures, and she paid close attention to every detail of his routine and needs. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Choco and treated him like one of her own. The peace of mind she gave me was priceless. Knowing Choco was safe, loved, and receiving such wonderful care allowed me to focus on work without constantly worrying. I truly can’t thank Julianne enough for everything she did. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive sitter, especially for pets with special medical needs.

Elaine took great care of Cinco during his doggy daycare visit. She kept me updated with photos, which I really appreciated, and it was nice to see him interacting with another dog. The updates gave me peace of mind, and the whole experience was smooth and professional. I would definitely trust Elaine with Cinco again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

Tina was amazing and so caring for our puppy! She was continuously updating us with videos and pictures. Which helped me feel more comfortable knowing bear was staying at a good place. I would highly recommend to others that need someone to watch their puppy:)

Even though the stay was only a few hours, it was clear that Monica was very attentive and observant. Chira has a slight shake in her right leg, and the fact that Monica noticed it really showed me how closely she pays attention to the dogs in her care. I am glad Sunny allowed Chira to occupy some of her space. Will definitely be back - this time for an overnight stay. Thanks to Monica and family

We weren't able to do a meet and greet with Naif as it was a last minute request. After reading his reviews I felt comfortable that Chira would enjoy his day care visit and I was correct. I am glad that Naif took Chira out for walks. I needed her to get some of that energy out. We will be seeing you again.

We are happy with the care provided for Juno for one day daycare. We would like to send Juno again whenever we are in need. Juno came home happy and healthy. Photos and updates were shared after the daycare ended while Juno was with us. Photos and updates during the daycare would have been impactful as we were eager to get the updates. All ended well and Nicolas spouse is very approachable and polite. We could not get a chance to meet Nicolas during Juno’s short stay.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
