“Larrielle has been a dedicated caretaker to my fur son since he was an infant. She’s played a trivial role in helping me get a break during busier weeks at work and life events. Her kind and genuine spirit electrifies every stay for my fur baby as he always wags his tail and gets super excited when I mention her name or Inform him that he’s going to daycare. I’m an over protective parent and only ALLOW the best for my baby and Larrielle has always delivered nothing less than exceptional service and professionalism. So glad to have her in our lives :-D”

“I couldnt be happier I chose Sarah to watch my puppy. My dog loves going to her so much he gets excited when we pull in the driveway. When I pick him up I can tell he was well attended to and played a lot. She has also helped me potty train him and he started waiting by the door for the first time when he needed to go potty. I’m so relieved to have someone I can count on to take care of my pup. :))”

“Brian is very caring and conscientious. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, caring and knowledgeable person to care for their pet. His rates are very reasonable, and he provides exceptional service.”

“Used Maria’s day care services on this past Friday and my dogs had such a blast. They were excited as soon as we pulled up to Maria’s house and they saw her. Maria kept me informed with pictures throughout their day at daycare. I’m so happy that I have found someone who can love and care for my dogs while I step away.”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs my entire life. At 18, I became a veterinary assistant and learned how to upgrade my level of knowledge and care for pets as well as learn how to take care of bunnies and a variety of reptiles. My veterinary knowledge and experience really helped my level of understanding pets in a multitude of ways whether it’s understand their social cues, behaviors, or even if there’s a medical episode happening which can be hard to notice. My current 2 dogs are both trained in which I personally trained one of them myself. Over the years, I’ve learned how to crate train dogs, correct behaviors the proper way, and trick-train. I do also know how to teach dogs a variety of words as a form of behavior training. I’ve also taken care of many senior dogs and cats, ranging from seniors with minimal health issues to a variety of health issues. I am skilled in administering medications as well. I also ensure that all the pets I take care of get lots of love, attention, and that they are in a stress and fear free environment. I am always home and available anytime and any day. I am available for any type of service needed and am always willing to work things out with existing or potential clients. I do not have a fenced backyard so I will ensure anytime I take dogs outside, they are leashed. All dogs are allowed to free-roam in my house and if they need to be crated for some time, that is no problem. I am very attentive and observant of pets. I keep note of when pets in my home drink water so I know when they may need to go outside to use the bathroom next. I am also very cautious of the items in my household. There is nothing toxic or anything edible in reach of pets. All food and cleaning supplies is put away in a cabinet or pantry. I am also fully aware of the different foods that are toxic to different kinds of pets so I know what needs to be be locked away at all times. When traveling to a clients home, I ensure I spend quality time with their pets. I always inquire how much time a client would prefer me to spend with their pets so I can ensure that my clients pets are getting the best care possible.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
