About: Hi, I'm Amanda. I am a mama to a little boy, a doggie named Jade (perfect for every personality) and a kitty that is over the age of 14 (both love all animals. Very unique kitty). I absolutely love animals in all forms. I have had animals since i was 8. All the way up until my son was born, I use to rescue animals from undesirable situations, clean them up and find them wonderful homes. All of my personal pets have had special needs in different ways. I love all animals and believe highly that they are all special. I would love to treat your baby as if they are our own. I'll be reliable in any way you need me to be. I also have my dog trainer license, specialize in body language and am great at showing them that they are safe, loved and part of the family. I am a stay at home mother who does this full time so my routines are based solely on what you and your pet need it to be during the day (they get absolutely spoil and I do it with joy. Making them happy is what i love). Please verify drop off and pick up times. Times scheduled are so so important for our scheduling, other drop offs, pick ups, dr appointments, etc. Traveling can me unpredictable, so unpredictable changes are understandable, as long as it is communicated. 😊😊 I have a fenced in yard for your baby(ies) to play and to use to restroom without restrictions. Your baby's food schedule is baised on what you need it to be. My job is to spoil your baby and that's my focus. We give cuddles, treats and love.

They were very flexible to watch our dog on a Sunday and flexible with tie time. They made our dog feel comfortable with them and followed instructions on feeding and potty breaks. We would use them again when in town.

About: Animals have always been the biggest part of my life. I have over 20 years of pet care experience, special using in puppies, senior pets, large breeds, and multi-pet households. 2 of my senior Huskies that recently crossed the rainbow bridge lived to 15 & 16.5 so I know all too well about Husky antics 😂 Whether your pup loves high energy playtime, long walks, or a quiet routine, I adjust to their preferences and needs. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. To give you total peace of mind, I provide photo updates throughout the day and your pup Will have me as their personal paparazzi (usually I send 10-15 photos📸📸) I live and work on a beautiful 40-acre property with a large, securely fenced backyard behind my house where the pups can safely play, explore, and relax. My mornings start early with fresh air, backyard/patio playtime, and breakfast. Since my office is also on property, I’m nearby throughout the day whether I’m working from the house or meeting with clients. Your baby will get regular potty breaks, lots of attention, love, and exercise throughout the day. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a large, securely fenced backyard with mature shade trees and a covered patio for plenty of outdoor time. Because there’s also a pool in the backyard, all outdoor play is always supervised. My three parrots live in their own dedicated room that is completely separate from the dogs shared spaces, allowing every pet to have a safe and comfortable environment. There are multiple areas in my home with dog beds and toys for dogs to have a bed space to themselves or retreat as well. I always follow each owner’s care instructions, routines, and any medication or dietary needs to help your dog feel at home.

I’ve been using this family for over a year now. Can’t begin to explain how amazing they are. My Marley girl is my whole world, and I can’t imagine trusting anyone as much as I trust them. Ren has been nothing short of incredible. She treats my baby like she’s part of the family and not only cares for her but actually loves her. She’s patient, kind, communicative, professional and friendly. Marley knows when she’s going to see her and just completely lights up. I never have to worry about anything when she’s with them. I’m completely at ease for a day, or for long term stays. Can’t express my appreciation enough for all of them. Will continue to book and refer forever! Thank y’all! 🩷🩷

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of every age and need since I was 10 — from rowdy puppies and playful kittens to senior pets with special requirements. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications, tracking dosage schedules, and watching for changes in appetite, mobility, or behavior. With senior pets, I focus on gentle routines, extra rest, and close attention to comfort. With younger pets, I prioritize safe socialization, play, and structure so they get the interaction and exercise they need. I offer boarding and house sitting, so pets stay in a comfortable, familiar routine whether they’re in my care or their own home. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to feed, medicate, and care for their pets like my own. I’m currently working part-time from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets real attention, not just a quick check-in. Here’s what a typical visit or stay looks like: • Available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2pm • Flexible daytime drop-ins for medication schedules and older pets who need consistency • Extra playtime and outdoor walks built into every visit, not rushed • Happy to adjust timing around your pet’s normal routine so nothing feels disrupted I treat every pet like my own, with a strong focus on both physical safety and mental enrichment. Here’s what you can expect: • Fenced yard and two friendly, dog-savvy dogs to keep your pet company • Daily outdoor time for fresh air, sniffing, and exercise — not just a backyard bathroom break • Enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, treat-scattering, and interactive play to keep their mind engaged • Comfortable crating available if that’s part of your pet’s routine • Careful medication administration and monitoring for any dogs or cats with health needs • A calm, decorated, pet-friendly space that feels like home, not a kennel

About: Lifelong dog owner with a decade of dog sitting and fostering experience, providing loving, reliable care while treating every pup like family in a safe, comfortable home. While you’re away, my dogs and I will make your pup feel comfortable with lots of love and play! I started out watching family members’ dogs as a teenager, then gradually began caring for my husband’s coworkers’ pups and others as word spread. Along the way, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy seeing new dogs interact with mine and how happy they are having friends around. It’s something I look forward to, and I am so excited to do it more often. My own pet’s care is part of my everyday life. I’m home all day with my own dogs, so your pup will always have company, attention, and lots of love. Caring for them is my full time job, which means I have all the time in the world to focus on making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, plus two friendly dogs who love having new companions around. I keep a close eye on all pups during playtime to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along. I stick to your dog’s usual routine for feeding, potty breaks, and rest, and I’m happy to crate them if that’s part of their normal schedule. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, and right at home the entire time they’re with me.

Veronica was a wonderful sitter! She was super flexible with pick up and drop off. She was very warm and welcoming to my dog. House has a large yard to run and play, and her resident dog Stella is the perfect temperament. She kept me updated throughout the day with cute and fun things he did as well as pictures. Brady seemed to really enjoy his time and was one happy exhausted pup by the end of the day! I definitely plan to book again when I need to!

I could tell Odie was very comfortable and loved being at Susan’s for doggy day care after the first day. He was happy at pick up and the next day he jumped out the car when I dropped him off. Susan takes great care of Odie and I know he gets lots of loving and exercise! Naps in the car on the way home. Will definitely book with Susan again.

About: I’ve had pets since I was child and absolutely love animals. My kids have developed the same passion. We love taking care of animals as a family and have a few rescues of our own. Tito is our chihuahua who loves other small dogs. Our cats, Binx and Lizzie are tolerant of dogs and are use to having them around. I’m a stay at home mom to three kids. Except for the occasional outing or trip to the grocery store, we are just about always home. We have a very large fenced in back yard, so your pup will have plenty of room to play. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and I hope that you consider us to care for your fur babies. ❤️ Pickup and drop off is by appointment only. You can make an appointment for between the hours of 8am-6pm. Your appointment window cannot be greater than one hour. If you miss your drop off window by more than 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled, and no refund given. If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up, you will have to reschedule your pickup time, if that means your pet stays another night, then you will be charged for an additional night plus a $30 inconvenience fee. I understand that things happen, and will work with you when unexpected events arise, but I’ve had too many people not respecting my time. I thank you for understanding. (: I follow care instructions completely. I give each animal one on one attention throughout the day. I treat them like they’re one of my kids. My children are very respectful of animals and are never left unsupervised with them.

What a wonderful first time experience having Cheyenne sit our Pluto. Pluto had very little interaction with other dogs and no interaction with cats before, so obviously we were very nervous in leaving him. Cheyenne not only assured us that she will take good care of Pluto, she went above and beyond our expectations. She posted regular pictures throughout the day, kept us updated on his feeding patterns as well as on his playtime with other dogs.

Skia who doesn't like to stay away from us and with other humans and dogs in our absence, loves to hangout with Mark and she is super happy to be with him and his dog (like a second home). Mark takes great care of the dogs and even feeds them when he feels they are hungry without a second thought. Great experience sending our pup to Mark's place !

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Weir commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,182 sitters in Weir, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
