“Candi is absolutely amazing and Buck loves going there!! She has also been able to accommodate my last minute daycare drop offs which have saved us a couple times now!! I am completely confident when I drop Buck off that he is not only in great care but that he also is having an absolute blast.”

“Amanda was absolutely amazing!! She took great care of Bentley and sent some awesome photos of Bentley!! He looked so happy and came home exhausted so I know he had an awesome time! Thank you so much for watching our pup while we were out! I recommend her and will definitely book again next time we are in the area!!”

“Skia who doesn't like to stay away from us and with other humans and dogs in our absence, loves to hangout with Mark and she is super happy to be with him and his dog (like a second home). Mark takes great care of the dogs and even feeds them when he feels they are hungry without a second thought. Great experience sending our pup to Mark's place !”

About: I’ve had pets since I was child and absolutely love animals. My kids have developed the same passion. We love taking care of animals as a family and have a few rescues of our own. Tito is our chihuahua who loves other small dogs. Our cats, Binx and Lizzie are tolerant of dogs and are use to having them around. I’m a stay at home mom to three kids. Except for the occasional outing or trip to the grocery store, we are just about always home. We have a very large fenced in back yard, so your pup will have plenty of room to play. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and I hope that you consider us to care for your fur babies. ❤️ Pickup and drop off is by appointment only. You can make an appointment for between the hours of 8am-6pm. Your appointment window cannot be greater than one hour. If you miss your drop off window by more than 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled, and no refund given. If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up, you will have to reschedule your pickup time, if that means your pet stays another night, then you will be charged for an additional night plus a $30 inconvenience fee. I understand that things happen, and will work with you when unexpected events arise, but I’ve had too many people not respecting my time. I thank you for understanding. (: I follow care instructions completely. I give each animal one on one attention throughout the day. I treat them like they’re one of my kids. My children are very respectful of animals and are never left unsupervised with them.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been caring for pets of friends/family for over 20 years and currently have one husky (2 of my senior huskies crossed the rainbow bridge recently) and three parrots (one is 38 years old - my birds have their own dedicated aviary upstairs and never in the shared space with dogs). I have experience with puppies, senior pets, large breeds, multi-pet households, and I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. When your baby is with me, they’ll be treated like family. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to a quiet routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind. I live and work on a beautiful 40-acre property with a large, securely fenced backyard behind my house where the pups can safely play, explore, and relax. My mornings start early with fresh air, backyard/patio playtime, and breakfast. Since my office is also on property, I’m nearby throughout the day whether I’m working from the house or meeting with clients. Your baby will get regular potty breaks, lots of attention, love, and exercise throughout the day. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a large, securely fenced backyard with mature shade trees and a covered patio for plenty of outdoor time. Because there’s also a pool in the backyard, all outdoor play is always supervised. My three parrots live in their own dedicated room that is completely separate from the dogs shared spaces, allowing every pet to have a safe and comfortable environment. There are multiple areas in my home with dog beds and toys for dogs to have a bed space to themselves or retreat as well. I always follow each owner’s care instructions, routines, and any medication or dietary needs to help your dog feel at home.
“They were very flexible to watch our dog on a Sunday and flexible with tie time. They made our dog feel comfortable with them and followed instructions on feeding and potty breaks. We would use them again when in town.”

“We have a 5 month old Golden Retriever puppy who had never been around other people or dogs thanks to COVID. I had a last minute opportunity to get the vaccine but needed a place for the puppy. Sara was great and open to my unknown schedule since I had no idea how long I’d have to wait. Puppy had a good time. I’d definitely use Sara again.”
About: We’re moving mid-June into our new home (officially homeowners, yay!), so because I don’t know when we’ll be settled, my availability is a little up in the air. We will be moving to East Georgetown (by Jonah), about a 15-minute drive from Taylor and a 10-minute drive from Hutto. We hope to still care for your pups after our transition into the new home. Lifelong dog owner with a decade of dog sitting and fostering experience, providing loving, reliable care while treating every pup like family in a safe, comfortable home. While you’re away, my dogs and I will make your pup feel comfortable with lots of love and play! I started out watching family members’ dogs as a teenager, then gradually began caring for my husband’s coworkers’ pups and others as word spread. Along the way, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy seeing new dogs interact with mine and how happy they are having friends around. It’s something I look forward to, and I am so excited to do it more often. My own pet’s care is part of my everyday life. I’m home all day with my own dogs, so your pup will always have company, attention, and lots of love. Caring for them is my full time job, which means I have all the time in the world to focus on making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play along with a doggy door for easy access, plus two friendly dogs who love having new companions around. I keep a close eye on all pups during playtime to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along. I stick to your dog’s usual routine for feeding, potty breaks, and rest, and I’m happy to crate them if that’s part of their normal schedule. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, and right at home the entire time they’re with me.

About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with experience looking after both dogs and cats. I grew up helping care for family dogs, including walks, playtime, and giving them lots of affection and attention. I’ve also been around cats since I was young, and currently live with two cats, so I understand their different personalities and how to care for them with patience and respect. Having my own puppy has also helped me build practical experience with routines, basic training, supervision, and the patience that young pets need. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel that their animals are in loving and trustworthy hands, and I always do my best to provide calm, attentive, and affectionate care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and keeping them company are things I’m happy to build into my day. I’m used to caring for pets consistently at home, including my 3-month-old puppy and two cats, so I understand the importance of routine, supervision, patience, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether a pet needs active play, companionship, or a calmer pace, I’m able to adapt to their needs. I believe pets do best when they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, so I always focus on creating a calm and loving environment. In my home, I care for my puppy and two cats, and they coexist well, which has taught me a lot about supervision, patience, routine, and respecting each pet’s space and personality. I also have a backyard for safe, supervised outdoor time. In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and respect the pet’s routine so they can feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.
“I left my Australian Shepard with Isabelle for daycare for two days, as I was dropping him off for the second day he was so excited to see Isabelle which I knew it meant he was in good hands. Isabelle was always responsive and gave me updates while he was with her. She also took him along for their daily walk which I appreciated. Thank you again Isabelle!”

About: I grew up with animals. I've only ever had pet care jobs. I wanted to volunteer at a shelter, but I couldn't at the time because I wasn't 18 yet! So... I went to college studying animal sciences. I've been a dog groomer, dog daycare employee, a vet tech, and worked at shelters! I have two cats of my own, but a spare room in my house for your pets to stay. I can rotate them so your pet gets time in the whole house (if your pet is not scared). I work as a dog groomer from Weds - Friday 9am - 5pm I love dogs that love toys! I have two cats, but a 5 bedroom house, so there is a room for separation of pets. Please let me know of your vacations, so I can help you out during yours, or on the holidays!
“Heather and her family did an excellent job caring for our dog. From the moment we dropped our pup off, we felt confident that they were in great hands. They were attentive, caring, and treated our dog like part of their family. We received updates and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the stay. We truly appreciated the love and attention Heather and her family provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was safe and enjoying their time. We would definitely book with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

Candi provided exceptional care for my dog, Ammo, during her stay. From the beginning, she demonstrated remarkable patience, answering all of my many questions thoroughly and kindly. Throughout the day, she kept me consistently updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
