About: Since I was a young girl, I have always been fascinated by animals—particularly dogs. I begged my parents to get me my first pet—Jasper, a rescued Labrador retriever—at age 7. Taking care of Jasper was my main focus as well the odd assortment of fish and hamsters we had. When Jasper passed, and I graduated high school, my next door neighbor had a litter of golden retriever puppies. I was ready to have another animal, and that’s when Kensie came into my life. Kensie was my soul dog, and she passed away two years ago. We did everything together—going to dog parks around town, Zilker park, and even red bud (before the algae), and going to dog-friendly establishments in Austin. She was my best friend. Unfortunately, her last few months on earth were extremely challenging. I was up with her three to four times a night (sometimes more), administering multiple medications, and helping her stand/walk. When the time came to say goodbye, I could barely make the decision to let her go. I miss her so much, but because of my current living situation, don’t have the opportunity to get another dog. That’s where Rover comes in. I love animals, and am extremely responsible when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet. This will give me my ‘fix’ and also be a productive side hustle for me. It will be an honor to walk//watch your pet. I will give the very care and concern I gave my own pets. Not only have I had my own pets, but I have experience with a variety of breeds—including catahoulas and boxers. You can make an appointment for between the hours of 8am-6pm. Your appointment window cannot be greater than one hour. If you miss your drop off window by more than 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled, and no refund given. If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up, you will have to reschedule your pickup time, if that means your pet stays another night, then you will be charged for an additional night plus a $30 inconvenience fee. I understand that things happen, and will work with you when unexpected events arise, but I’ve had too many people not respecting my time. I thank you for understanding. (: I follow care instructions completely. I give each animal one on one attention throughout the day. I treat them like they’re one of my kids. My children are very respectful of animals and are never left unsupervised with them.

About: I have owned/worked with dogs for the past ten years. I volunteered at the humane society for two years, worked at a doggy daycare, trained all my pups myself, and worked in animal control. About: I grew up with an amazing Doberman and 3 wonderful Rottweilers so I love big dogs and have lots of experience working with them. My family had 2 cats and my favorite aunt has had many more throughout her lifetime that I always wanted to go play with. I do work full time; however, I have set days off. The hours I work are spread throughout the day, but with enough notice, I can plan accordingly. I am flexible. When your pet is in my care, I treat them like one of my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and active time. Whether that's going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, or simply spending quality time together. I'm attentive to all of their daily needs, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and any special routines you have in place. I know pets feel most comfortable with consistency, so I'll do everything I can to help them feel safe and secure, especially in the place they know best. Their home. About: I have grown up around animals and currently have two cats and two dogs. I am very comfortable keeping pets entertained and well cared for.
