Highly-rated overnight sitters - Weir
“Amanda took care of our Aussie Mix puppy for 4 days, and she was incredible! Our puppy can be a messy little guy, and she took great care of him and has the patience of a saint!!! She gave us updates every day to give us extra peace of mind, and he had a great time with her dog too! Would 100% recommend Amanda and would definitely come to her again in the future for our pup!”

“Andrew did a wonderful job sitting our two dogs. One of our dogs is elderly and needs regular diaper changing while our other dog took some time getting used to being away from us. Andrew provided frequent updates, photos, and videos. My elderly dog needed emergency medical care and Andrew didn’t hesitate in taking the dog to the vet where he received prompt treatment and recovered quickly. It’s easy to see that Andrew really loves dogs and enjoys looking after them. He has a calm, kind demeanor and was able to constructively handle a few difficult situations caused by my dogs. I would certainly have Andrew sit my dogs again. I trust Andrew and he treated our dogs as if they were his own.”

“We were a little nervous using Rover sitters for the first time, but Heather and her family made the entire experience so easy and comforting, starting from the time went to visit their house before the booking. They followed all our instructions perfectly, kept us updated with photos and messages, and made sure Dobby got plenty of play and cuddles. When we picked him up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they gave him — we highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a sitter who truly loves dogs! We will be using their services again in a month!”

“Cathrin was wonderful! She took great care of Wylie and kept me updated throughout his stay. Despite his neediness, she made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Radha and Bart are absolutely the BEST. Rooney was so happy staying there and playing with their super chill big boy Snowy for the entire week. They provided us so many updates with photos and videos. We didn’t have to worry about him at all. Radha and Bart treated him like their own pup. They took him on walks multiple times during the day and gave him the sniffing time which our beagle loves. If you want your fur baby to be loved and get that feeling of home away home, go with Radha and Bart :)”

“Jimmye Sue and Tom made my first experience with Rover an easy one! The communication and love they both put towards Melo was amazing and I was gifted a beautiful painting of my dog which I love. Best Rovers in the area, thank y’all again ?”

“We had such a great experience with Bekah! We ended up having a day trip we knew would be longer than we wanted to leave our dog home for and she took such great care of him and sent us a perfect amount of updates. She responded super timely and was just great! Our dog came home super happy. Highly recommend.”

“Megan and her family did an amazing job watching our sweet pup! She was always quick to respond to messages and gave daily updates along with pictures. Our dog was so happy staying with them and he got all the love and attention he could want. I would strongly recommend her to anyone in the area.”

“Gracie spent 8 days with Lynn for the first time and seemed to really enjoy her visit. She was perfectly at ease with Lynn upon meeting her for the first time and came home relaxed and happy. We will use her again.”

“10 stars please 🙌🏻🙏 I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my boy while I was gone! I was gone for 1 night and it almost looked like he wanted to stay, and not come home, when I went to pick him up 😂😭 Highly recommend!!”

“This was my first experience using Rover, I was a bit nervous about leaving my baby with a stranger. Rodnie quickly put those concerns to rest. My pup was treated as part of the family. He was well loved and cared for. I will definitely book with Rodnie in the future. She is communicative, kind, and most of all, a dog lover. Do not hesitate to book with her!”

“Mina & Antony were very attentive to our pups! They took them both on regular walks and kept us very up to date with their days! We would definitely book with them again in the future :)”

“Brittny is an amazing sitter! She’s super interactive, sends plenty of photos, and keeps me updated throughout my pup’s stay, so I always know how he’s doing. This is my third time booking with her, and my pit bull absolutely adores her. He always has a great time and I know he’s in excellent hands. Brittny is especially wonderful with bully breeds!”

“Sherron was so sweet with our dog and very kind and accommodating. I can tell Skipper was well taken care of and happy in Sherron’s care. We will definitely book with her again!”

“This is the third time booking with Mell. She has been wonderful. She communicates and keeps you updated on your furry ones. She even put a large package inside our home. Mell remembers how to care for and accommodate your babies.”

“We highly recommend our pet sitter, Victoria! She took excellent care of our cats, Coco and Nala, over the past four days. She made sure they were fed, kept their litter box clean, gave them treats, and, most importantly, showered them with plenty of love and attention. She truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable while we were away. Her communication was outstanding, and she regularly sent us pictures and updates, which gave us great peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provided and would gladly book her again!”

About: We’re moving mid-June into our new home (officially homeowners, yay!), so because I don’t know when we’ll be settled, my availability is a little up in the air. We will be moving to East Georgetown (by Jonah), about a 15-minute drive from Taylor and a 10-minute drive from Hutto. We hope to still care for your pups after our transition into the new home. Lifelong dog owner with a decade of dog sitting and fostering experience, providing loving, reliable care while treating every pup like family in a safe, comfortable home. While you’re away, my dogs and I will make your pup feel comfortable with lots of love and play! I started out watching family members’ dogs as a teenager, then gradually began caring for my husband’s coworkers’ pups and others as word spread. Along the way, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy seeing new dogs interact with mine and how happy they are having friends around. It’s something I look forward to, and I am so excited to do it more often. My own pet’s care is part of my everyday life. I’m home all day with my own dogs, so your pup will always have company, attention, and lots of love. Caring for them is my full time job, which means I have all the time in the world to focus on making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play along with a doggy door for easy access, plus two friendly dogs who love having new companions around. I keep a close eye on all pups during playtime to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along. I stick to your dog’s usual routine for feeding, potty breaks, and rest, and I’m happy to crate them if that’s part of their normal schedule. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, relaxed, and right at home the entire time they’re with me.
“Veronica was a wonderful sitter! She was super flexible with pick up and drop off. She was very warm and welcoming to my dog. House has a large yard to run and play, and her resident dog Stella is the perfect temperament. She kept me updated throughout the day with cute and fun things he did as well as pictures. Brady seemed to really enjoy his time and was one happy exhausted pup by the end of the day! I definitely plan to book again when I need to!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience with medications and other special needs your pet may have. I love loving on dogs and love to enrich their time with bubbles or other activities like sniff and seek. The dogs will hang out with me, go on walks twice daily walks, play bubbles or play fetch, or swim if your dog is interested! We also love naps in our house and overall have a great time. I have a dog park and walking trail at my apartment. I have a dog wash and would be happy to bathe your dog before their return. I have a 4 year old golden retriever who is well-socialized and loves to make new friends. I also make homemade dog treats :)
“Candi is absolutely amazing and Buck loves going there!! She has also been able to accommodate my last minute daycare drop offs which have saved us a couple times now!! I am completely confident when I drop Buck off that he is not only in great care but that he also is having an absolute blast.”

“Heather and her family did an excellent job caring for our dog. From the moment we dropped our pup off, we felt confident that they were in great hands. They were attentive, caring, and treated our dog like part of their family. We received updates and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the stay. We truly appreciated the love and attention Heather and her family provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was safe and enjoying their time. We would definitely book with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been caring for pets of friends/family for over 20 years and currently have two huskies (one is 16 years old) and three parrots (one is 38 years old - & my birds have their own dedicated aviary upstairs and are never in the shared space with dogs). I have experience with puppies, senior pets, large breeds, multi-pet households, and I understand that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. When your baby is with me, they’ll be treated like family. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to a quiet routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind. I live and work on a beautiful 40-acre property with a large, securely fenced backyard behind my house where the pups can safely play, explore, and relax. My mornings start early with fresh air, backyard/patio playtime, and breakfast. Since my office is also on property, I’m nearby throughout the day whether I’m working from the house or meeting with clients. Your baby will get regular potty breaks, lots of attention, love, and exercise throughout the day. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have a large, securely fenced backyard with mature shade trees and a covered patio for plenty of outdoor time. Because there’s also a pool in the backyard, all outdoor play is always supervised. My three parrots live in their own dedicated room that is completely separate from the dogs shared spaces, allowing every pet to have a safe and comfortable environment. There are multiple areas in my home with dog beds and toys for dogs to have a bed space to themselves or retreat as well. I always follow each owner’s care instructions, routines, and any medication or dietary needs to help your dog feel at home.
“I had something last minute come up and they were kind enough to take Daisy. Eased my mind immediately sending me a picture of her playing with their pup. They were flexible, kind and communicative. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned/worked with dogs for the past ten years. I volunteered at the humane society for two years, worked at a doggy daycare, trained all my pups myself, and worked in animal control. I have tons of experience with dogs of all sorts of personalities and needs. I can either watch your pup at their home or bring them to my pack (as long as they are female and get along with other pups). I love to do whatever your pup loves (tug, run, walk, cuddle, etc). Whatever makes your pup happy is what we will be doing majority of the time they stay with me. I usually do pet sitting where people find me on nextdoor or Facebook, or just friends pups. I am home all weekends and holidays as well. I will care for your pets however you see fit. If boarded with me I have a fenced in yard as well as dogs for your pup(s) to play with.

About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with experience looking after both dogs and cats. I grew up helping care for family dogs, including walks, playtime, and giving them lots of affection and attention. I’ve also been around cats since I was young, and currently live with two cats, so I understand their different personalities and how to care for them with patience and respect. Having my own puppy has also helped me build practical experience with routines, basic training, supervision, and the patience that young pets need. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel that their animals are in loving and trustworthy hands, and I always do my best to provide calm, attentive, and affectionate care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and keeping them company are things I’m happy to build into my day. Whether a pet needs active play, companionship, or a calmer pace, I’m able to adapt to their needs. I believe pets do best when they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, so I always focus on creating a calm and loving environment. In my home, I care for my puppy and two cats, and they coexist well, which has taught me a lot about supervision, patience, routine, and respecting each pet’s space and personality. I also have a backyard for safe, supervised outdoor time. In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and respect the pet’s routine so they can feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, senior, anxious, or needs special handling, I’m patient, dependable, and happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. I’m also big on communication and know how important peace of mind is for pet parents, so I make sure to send regular updates, photos, and check-ins throughout the stay. Please reach out to coordinate and schedule what works best for you. I work as a team alongside my husband, so we have a ton of flexibility. I always do my best to keep pets comfortable, safe, and stress-free by sticking closely to their normal routines. In a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s space and the owner’s home while making sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. Safety is very important to me, so I’m careful with doors, leashes, temperatures, interactions with other animals, and anything else that helps keep pets secure and comfortable.
“Susan S. is amazing! The backyard is big and spacious, my pup was happy to go to doggy day care at Susan’s. He typically tries to leave with me when using commercial boarding. “Followed instructions smoothly, no issues. She left a detailed report of her care with my girls and it was helpful. Highly recommend her to friends and family in the area.”

About: Since I was a young girl, I have always been fascinated by animals—particularly dogs. I begged my parents to get me my first pet—Jasper, a rescued Labrador retriever—at age 7. Taking care of Jasper was my main focus as well the odd assortment of fish and hamsters we had. When Jasper passed, and I graduated high school, my next door neighbor had a litter of golden retriever puppies. I was ready to have another animal, and that’s when Kensie came into my life. Kensie was my soul dog, and she passed away two years ago. We did everything together—going to dog parks around town, Zilker park, and even red bud (before the algae), and going to dog-friendly establishments in Austin. She was my best friend. Unfortunately, her last few months on earth were extremely challenging. I was up with her three to four times a night (sometimes more), administering multiple medications, and helping her stand/walk. When the time came to say goodbye, I could barely make the decision to let her go. I miss her so much, but because of my current living situation, don’t have the opportunity to get another dog. That’s where Rover comes in. I love animals, and am extremely responsible when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet. This will give me my ‘fix’ and also be a productive side hustle for me. It will be an honor to walk//watch your pet. I will give the very care and concern I gave my own pets. Not only have I had my own pets, but I have experience with a variety of breeds—including catahoulas and boxers. As mentioned above, I have extensive experience working with senior dogs and administering medication. I’m currently in a transition phase in my life, and am looking for something productive and rewarding. I have pretty much limitless availability to cater to whatever your dog may need. At the moment, I can’t accept any dogs into my home, but if given the opportunity to stay at a client’s house, I would follow all instructions given while simultaneously respecting the space and showering your dog with love and attention.
“Josh just started walking my 9 year old pup. He took the time to do a meet and greet and get my old gal use to him. She was already so excited to see him today when for her first walk with him. He takes lots of pics and provides great information. He kind and gentle with animals and is so sweet! Thank you Josh!”

“My dog absolutely LOVED Kimmie from the very first meeting. And my pup can be somewhat reserved around new people so that told me all I needed to know about Kimmie’s ability to connect to pets. Kimmie is very professional, reliable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her.”

“Lindzi took great care of my dog when she walked him, played with him, and gave him a treat. He was happy and calm when I returned home. I would ask her to take care of him again without hesitation.”

About: I have experience with large and small dogs, puppies, energetic dogs, etc. I'm certified in dog training, affectionate, caring, friendly, patient, and I love animals. I have cared for pets in my country for many years, bathing them, brushing their fur, taking them for walks, and also giving them dog training instructions. my native language is Spanish. I am currently available full-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily activities don't interfere with caring for your precious pets. I have a large, fenced garden, and my house is spacious, a perfect place for your treasure to explore. All of us who live at home are animal lovers, so your pet will be in a safe and secure environment. My love and patience with pets are one of my virtues.
About: I've had pets for about 7 years - raised two Huskies from puppies, and after moving out on my own I started taking care of cats. I currently have three cats at home. Friends and family have counted on me to feed, walk, and look after their pets when they're away. I'm comfortable handling both small and large dogs, and I know bigger breeds like Huskies need a lot more exercise and stimulation than most. With cats, I deal with them every single day, so I know when they're just being moody and when something's actually wrong. My schedule is very flexible - I'm taking online classes this summer, but they're all self-paced with no set class times, so I can work around any pet care needs throughout the day. I'm available on weekdays and weekends, and I can easily adjust to fit your pet's routine! For drop-in visits and dog walking, I always make sure to follow the owner's instructions and keep the pet's normal routine as close as possible. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes before anything else - especially with bigger dogs. I grew up with two Huskies, so I know how important it is to keep large, energetic dogs secure and properly managed. I'll send updates and photos during every visit so you always know how your pet is doing!
About: All God's Creatures Great and Small....gotta love them all . I have experience caring for sheep , chickens and exotics. 10 years experience working with Research Pet and Bird Hospital skills include... some surgeries, post operative care, feeding, walking, front desk, administration of meds, vaccines , 10 years experience working with Animal Rescue in Austin , skills include intensive care of sick and wounded animals, intensive research in best feeding and handling procedures including mandatory classes , bottlefeeding wild baby animals, and release, and 20 plus years experience loving and spoiling my own pets. I've raised squirrels from newborn to adult, several wild and exotic birds ,cared for dogs and cats, hamsters. Love ferrets!! I'm also a retired school teacher 17 years. I am a positive reward oriented caretaker. Loving and caring for animals has been my life's joy. I always consider the needs of the specific pet and the wishes of the owner. I love to spend time cuddling, feeding, playing , walking , grooming , and pampering my own pet and will do the same for yours. I am currently self employed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I offer drop in and walking services and I am very flexible. I will also house sit and I prefer 3- 4 day stays. When I’m house sitting I try to stay as close to the owners schedule as possible. I like to have an info sheet on when and what your pup eats, what time they go out for a walk or to play, whether they sleep on your bed or in a special bed for them, favorite toys or games they play with you. I try to fill their day with activities….munching Nyla bones, playing in a baby pool, PB Kong treats, playing ball outside, going on walks, watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua, rubdowns and grooming. The same activities apply to drop in visits . When I’m walking them , they have a leash or harness on , I’m weary of other dogs or animals in the neighborhood, I reinforce your special commands while walking, bring a water bottle for them, and bring treats . I am always watchful for any situation that would possibly be harmful.
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my entire life. I have taken care of dogs for a while as well. I am very reliable and love to see animals happy, so I try to give them the best experience possible. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare, I am available for drop in’s in the morning and afternoon. Otherwise I’m fully available in the afternoons. I have plenty of time on my hands to make sure your pet has a great time! I have a spacious house with a big backyard for your pup to run and play. I have a 4 year old pitbull who loves meeting new friends and zooming around!

About: I am a true dog lover. I work retail and actually love seeing and playing with all the dogs that come in rather than dealing with the customers. I have owned two black labs at different times in life. They kept me in shape and taught me how to spend much needed time with them ( they are very active and loyal dogs who love to spend every waking moment with you.) I don't have children but my lab is like my child. I watched my best friends dogs at various times, one of them had a list of medicines it had to take at various times of day and one with a seizure disorder who needed close watch. This is my true love in life, spending time with dogs. I have mornings available and mid to later evenings available. My schedule varies because I’m in retail but I always have time to fit in a walk or drop in early morning or mid to later evening . Pets in home are allowed in main living area and fences backyard. I can stay at owners residence if needed . Drop ins are also part of my service

“Gracie spent 8 days with Lynn for the first time and seemed to really enjoy her visit. She was perfectly at ease with Lynn upon meeting her for the first time and came home relaxed and happy. We will use her again.”

“Natalee is great. She took care of my dogs on short notice and treated them like her own. I appreciated the updates from her and how responsive she is concerning individual dog care institutions. Highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Leslie took excellent care of my anxious and lovable border/aussie mix Riley! I especially loved all the photos and text updates...they always brought a much needed smile to my busy travel schedule. Riley had a wonderful time hanging out with Junie Bee! So happy that Leslie treated him like her very own fur baby. Thanks for taking such great care of my boy!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jeff and Jirapun taking care of our dog, Miley. They kept us updated throughout her stay with regular messages and plenty of pictures, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that Miley was well cared for and very comfortable with them. Thank you both for taking such great care of Miley. We truly appreciate your kindness and attention, and we’ll definitely look forward to leaving Miley with you again in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Shane was very patient with our three divas. They didn't want to eat, peed in his house, tore of a dog bed, and didn't want to take their pills. He kept in communication with us, sent pictures, and put up with them. Couldn't ask for more.”

“We LOVE Candi! We left our 2 boys with her for 8 days and they were definitely well loved and cared for! We got lots of photos and videos of them and they were clearly having a good time! We will 100% be using Candi again for boarding and daycare in the future! Thanks Candi!”

“Jamie and her family were very accommodating, last-minute request for two female pit bulls. They brought Zoey and Zepplin in to their family and treated them like one of their own pets. Very much appreciated.”

“Alessandra was such an amazing support - She made me feel comfortable and at ease, knowing my dog, Suki, was in good hands with her while I was away. You can tell she is experienced with dogs and has a way with animals. She is gentle, kind, intuitive, aware and attentive - which is pretty much all I could ever hope for in someone caring for one of my animals. I would recommend her to anyone who ever needs a quiet, safe haven for their pup. Thank you, Alessandra!!”
