“Our Josie loves Lauren and her family... Lauren sends photos and keeps me updated on all the cute things our pup does. We miss our little girl when we drop her off, but we know she is in good and loving hands!”

“Matt does such a great job of taking care of our 2 babies! We can rest easy knowing he is watching them. He gives great updates and both of our dogs run to his door to see him”

“Chewie just returned from his second home and was, once again, spoiled!! Lots of photos were sent to allow me to enjoy my vacation knowing he was enjoying his! Thank you to Jill and family for making him feel so special!”

“Our pup had the best time staying with Jessica and her fam!! She was absolutely fantastic, loved him like her own and sent us so many photos and updates. Loaf will definitely be back to stay soon!”

“Yevheniia was wonderful with our pug! From the beginning we had a meet and greet just to make sure it was a good fit and she was so sweet and accommodating and made sure our pug was comfortable even just for the short visit. Then for the actual stay of two nights, Yevheniia sent us pictures and regular detailed updates about how our pug was doing. When our pug was unsettled in her crate at night missing her parents, Yevheniia even took it upon herself to let her out and sleep with her at night to make sure she was comfortable! Yevheniia was very attentive and kind and knowledgeable about dogs, and she did very well with our pug's complicated eating routine and medications for her eyes and allergies. Yevheniia also has a beautiful pet friendly home with plenty of space and a back yard. We were so confident that Yevheniia was taking good care of our pug the whole time. Overall, I wish I could give more stars, what a great experience! We will definitely be booking with Yevheniia again! :)”

“I want to thank Christal from the bottom of heart for providing Jack with a great environment and lots of love and attention. We all know that when it comes to our pets, we want only the very best. Christal proved to be just that. I cannot wait to use her again.”

“Highly recommend Mara! Our dog had a great time and we loved getting pictures of her throughout her stay. This was our dog’s first time being away from family and the communication before, during, and even post pickup was prompt and helpful which made it easier on us. We will definitely use Mara again.”

“She and her family were fantastic. She sent tons of updates and pictures to let me know how my dogs were doing. Her dog was very friendly and got along well with my dogs. Anytime she had questions she was quick to reach out. I will definitely be booking with her again. She is the best!”

“They took care of my pup very well while we were out of town for a few days. They have such a cozy home that I know my furry friend absolutely loved! They took my dog on several walks and gave her such love and care. They were very pleasant people and I look forward to using them again soon”

“Sarah was wonderful! We had to add an extra day, and she was so sweet to accommodate our last-minute change in our travel plans. We loved receiving the pictures and videos and we never had to worry about them! We will most definitely be contacting her to keep Sam and Charlie in the near future!”

“Daniel is great and is our go-to sitter! Daniel only watches one dog at a time which is for our dog Hector as he likes to be the center of attention, and Hector loves Daniel because he gives him lots of attention. Daniel is great with sending pictures, videos, and following instructions. We completely safe and comfortable leaving Hector with Daniel!”

“Annie and Grandma Grace are amazing! Lily loved her sleep over with them and can't wait to go back for another sleepover. Annie sent us lots of updates and sent Lily home with the cutest card telling us about her stay with them. I highly recommend Annie and Grandma Grace to anyone who wants to have their fur baby treated like a part of their family.”

“Sheila took such great care of Penny! We loved the photos and videos she sent us. It was easy to see how happy and comfortable Penny felt with her. Penny was exhausted when we brought her home. Definitely recommend her!”

“Cassian felt right at home at Katherine‘s house… They were very accommodating. They have a nice big backyard and were very loving towards my pup. I highly recommend them. 🐶”

“Kris was so kind and welcoming to our Golden Retriever Leo! We appreciated the updates and photos & seeing him have so much fun on all of the land. Leo didn’t even want to leave when we picked him up!”

“We had an amazing experience with Carol! From the moment we met her and her husband, it was clear our dog was in great hands. They were attentive, reliable, and treated our pup like family. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. You can tell Carol genuinely loves what she does. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter and will absolutely book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Laura took such good care of our golden doodle - we could tell he had a good time and that he played hard! When travel logistics threw us a curveball, Laura graciously accommodated. We are so appreciative - THANK You!”

“Our senior dog, Watson, has stayed with Molly and her family twice now and we LOVE working with her! She's a fantastic and responsive communicator who sends lots of pictures. Pick-up and drop-off have always been a breeze (even when we had a flight delay that set us a bit off schedule!). They do a great job giving Watson his medicine (daily pills and eye ointment). Most importantly, it is clear to us that Watson loves visiting Molly & her family! He always comes home to us happy and healthy, if a little tired from all the excitement. :-)”

“Clayton is the best! Our 2 dogs love being boarded with him and always come home happy and exhausted from playing with other dogs. He sends great updates and pictures. Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waxhaw
This was the first time we had boarded our 7 month old puppy with Heather. She did a great job and followed our instructions for her care. Heather was also very accommodating and sent us daily messages on how Sadie was doing. When we returned, Sadie was happy but very tired. She had obviously had fun playing with Heather's two small dogs. We will be using Heather again in the near future and highly recommend her.

We had such a positive experience with Monie! Our dog stayed with her, and it was clear that he felt safe and comfortable in her care. She sent us daily updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away, and she was always very responsive whenever we reached out. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave our dog and would definitely feel comfortable having him stay with her again!

Brandi was amazing. We are so happy we found her. With the new move and last minute booking we wanted someone nearby. She was awesome with all the pictures and updates and so accommodating with last minute changes. Hope we can have lLegend visit in the future :)

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
