“Rochelle is AMAZING!! She watched 8 week old puppy and 6-year-old dog while we were on vacation. They were so loved and well taken care of that I had no worries. She sent us pictures and videos to show this how they were doing while we were away, which really helped out a lot! She was very good with communication and we had no worries the entire time we were gone! We will use her all the time even if it's just to let the dogs out or take them for a walk. We just love her!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets my entire life. I have experience dog-sitting, cat-sitting, dog walking and even some grooming. My passionate love for animals doesn’t vary between small, large, young, or old - I love them all! I work part-time at a vets office in Columbia, IL. I have plenty of weekend availability and very flexible during the week. Please reach out to see if my exact schedule would work for you! My goal is to make your furry friend feel as comfortable as possible with me. I take caution when getting to know a new animal, making sure to give them the time and space they need in order to get to know me.

“I have two smaller dogs, one being a miniature, Australian Shepherd, and the other being a jack Russell terrier. We tend to go on a lot of camping trips during the summer and Brittney has watched my dogs each time and we couldn’t be more thrilled with her and how she treats our dogs and loves on them. She even goes above and beyond and brings them new toys.”

11. Tina L.
About: I am an avid pet lover. I’ve been around dogs all my life (minus a short time when I lived in an apartment and couldn’t have a dog, so we decided to adopt 2 cats!). I am a pretty active gal, and am able to take dogs for walks (and even run if they want to). I'm open to drop in visits, housesitting, walks, etc. I am unable to provide boarding at my house, as our Chloe is selective about her friends. We are working with her on being more tolerant of others. If boarding is your preference, I would be open to a Chloe meet-and-greet to make sure your dog and Chloe are comfortable with each other. I work locally around Columbia, so I am able to do some petsitting during the week. I have more availability on the weekends. If my schedule allows, I can drop in on lunch to check on your pets. Your rules are my rules. As long as the dog/cat/etc. is happy, I am happy. My dogs are allowed on furniture and have the run of the house. Of course, they are not chewers and (typically) do not destroy things.

About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals since I was a child. I have 2 dogs, 2 rats, and a 20 gal fish tank in my home. I've trained my own dogs one of whom came to us feral. I am accustomed to helping and training reactive dogs and welcome the challenge. I work full time, about 8 hours a day. Typically have Wednesdays and Sundays off. I love animals and enjoy spending my free time with them. I have 2 dogs that re used to other animals coming in out of the home. In the past I have rehabilitated small animals and found them suitable homes.

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs, cats, bunnies and farm animals growing up and recently have begun house sitting for families in the Portland, ME area. Sits range from the weekend to a full month caring for small and large dogs, cats, alpacas, goats and bunnies. I have had experience walking up to 2 dogs in the city, trails or beaches and providing medications when needed. I have open availability mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekdays and weekends. Available for walks, drop ins and house sits! Happy to discuss a schedule that works for you :) When caring for pets I focus on making them feel comfortable and attended to, with extra pets and snuggles. Giving time to play outside, preparing a nice treat, keeping a clean living space, and monitoring needs depending on situation.
