“Breanna proved to be flexible with my instructions and is a genuine pup lover. My dog was super happy upon her arrival and even more happy after they went for a walk! Breanna even refilled the water bowl knowing I wouldn’t be home for a few more hours. Thanks for taking care of the Miabear Breanna!”

About: I have four dogs at home. They are well behaved most of the time and they are very spoiled. I have had dogs growing up my whole life. I currently work a morning job so I have time in the afternoon and the evenings to spend time with or to walk the dogs. I love spending time with dogs. I can do whatever is needed for them to feel safe and for you to feel safe about your dog.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I’ve even had the adventure of having my own since he was 8 weeks old and potty training him. I’ve also helped family members with their aging fur babies whenever they’ve needed. I work a few days a week at a local ER so those days my husband takes care of our dogs but I have the rest of the week free that I love to be with our fur children. I have plenty of time to help with more pets for someone who doesn’t have the time . Working in a local emergency room I do have to be a reliable person at all times which carries into my personal life. We do have a decent sized fenced in yard at home and even walk our dogs on their leashes around the neighborhood which is super dog friendly as well!

8. Samantha S.
“Samantha is an incredibly responsible dog owner, dog sitter, and dog walker. She is respectful of the owner's wishes and attentive to the animal's needs. I trust Samanatha fully to watch my dog - who is big, energetic, and at times a bit mischievous. Samantha will make you feel at ease while you are away from your animal. I 100 percent recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

9. Diane P.

About: Hi my name is Diane, and I have been caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds most of my life. I will care for your precious babies just like my own. They will receive professional care, love, attention and affection. This is my full time job, if you can call it that. It's a blessing. I have a nice yard and field for walks, and a large covered deck for outside play time in severe weather. I only take one family's pets at a time. So, your babies will get plenty of quality attention and companionship. My home is pet friendly and all safety precautions have been implemented. Your companions will be kept separate from my own for the safety of both parties. I am also comfortable and experienced taking care of special needs pets that might require medications to be administered or other accommodations. I now have a bedroom designated for cats. It has a king size bed and lots of windows for bird watching. I only book one family's cat or cats at a time. I have excellent reviews and references. Thank you for your consideration. This is my full time job. A labor of love. So, caring for your companions will be my top priority. You can feel confident and secure while they're in my care. I will accommodate your companions needs and your requests. All pets are kept safe and attended to at all times. I am trustworthy and reliable.

10. Katelyn C.

“Super kind, friendly and punctual.”

11. Jessica F.
About: I first began pet sitting and dog walking around four years ago. For three years I had been taking care of my neighbors' pets, including dogs and cats. This past year I actually worked for a company for pet sitting! This included multiple appointments throughout the day of thirty-minute stays and walks. This makes me very familiar with this type of job already! For pet sitting I would go to the house in the morning, middle of the day, and in the evening. Therefore, I would feed them and give them their medication if needed. For dog walking I would go at the requested time of the client and take their dog on a nice thirty-minute walk. I have a ton of experience to offer! I am currently unemployed. Therefore, my schedule is very open to multiple appointments! I am going back to school in August but am available for most of the summer! I have two dogs of my own, a German Shepard and a rescue mutt. I always make sure to do my part in taking care of them and give them as much love as I can! For a client, I make sure to provide extra care and love because even if it is just a short time taking care of them I want to be able to bond with them and make them feel well cared for!

12. Katie G.
“Katie is kind hearted person, that truly loves animals. She has watched our German Short Hair pointer Lizzy several times. Lizzy is a high energy dog and Katie was able to engage her. She kept Lizzy entertained with much love and attention. Lizzy loved communicating with Katie and enjoyed her loving belly rubs. I have seen Katie interact with many dogs, large and small. Your pet will be in great hands if you choose to hire Katie.”

13. Nicole M.

“Nicole was absolutely fabulous with my dog! We will definitely be calling her again to walk Hades. I highly recommend.”

14. Alexandria C.
About: I have experience with animals of all different sizes, ages and temperaments. I am new to Rover but definitely not new to taking care of animals. I have been fostering cats and dogs for years through MEHS, BAHS and stray rescue STL. Can provide proof if needed. I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I do have a 9 year old (Simba) and 6 month old (Charlie) cat, as well as a turtle (Peanut) I have had for 5 years. All of my animals are spayed/neutered. They are all allowed to enjoy the furniture just as much as I am. I would love to give your animals all the love and care while you are away. I am currently in college, so in my free time, I am usually home studying and cuddling up with my fur babies on the couch. I work part-time nights so I usually go in late while the animals are asleep so I am able to spend the day taking care of our pets. I make sure to feed them, give them a nice fresh bowl of clean water. Spoil them with a treat or two. Give them some love and affection, let them out to use the restroom and walk them if that is something you'd like me to do as well, as i know all animals have different needs and some need more exercise than others. If they are on a special diet or need any special care, just let me know as I am quite the note taker and can absolutely meet those needs for you.

15. Morgan T.

“Morgan was AMAZING. I can truly say she went above and beyond with her care for our dog. Always kept us updated on when she got to our house and sent pictures every visit. It is clear Morgan LOVES pets and she will definitely treat your pet like her own. We will most definitely use Morgan again when we need someone to take care of our pup.”

16. Heather M.
About: I take the time to get to know each dog, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. I offer flexible walking hours to fit your busy lifestyle, so your dog always gets their daily stroll, even if your schedule changes. I specialize in small group walks or solo sessions to give each dog the undivided attention they deserve. I make sure every walk is fun and engaging experience, building a strong bond with your dog while they get plenty of exercise. I typically start my day with morning walks, which helps energize both me and the dogs. Depending on the dog, these walks may be more leisurely or faster paced to match their needs. If you have a busy schedule, I would fit in midday walks or potty breaks to make sure your dog stays happy and active. After a day of work or activities, evening walks can help dogs burn off any extra energy before bedtime. I would create a pet friendly area with comfortable bedding, toys, and access to fresh water. If a pet stays over for awhile, I’d make sure they have their own quiet space where they can retreat if they need rest.

18. Ella E.
“I’ve known Ella for several years through our college classes, and over that time, we’ve become very close. We’ve collaborated on numerous projects for our courses, and throughout each assignment, she has consistently shown responsibility in completing her work. She’s always open to sharing her ideas and works effectively in a team setting.”

19. Sarah D.
“Sarah would be great at dog sitting because she has done it for friends and family a bunch in her life. All dogs tend to love her & she loves them right back. She has a dog of her own who is a very happy dog and lives a great life, her dog is even her wallpaper on her phone. She is very trustworthy and responsible, if there was a person who would make your pets happy and keep them with good care, it’s her!”
