About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! They have definitely taught me patience, how to deal with a semi-reactive dogs, and has made me confident in my ability to care for large breeds. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds, big and small, timid and reactive. I’m experienced in handling high energy dogs, young puppies who are still learning, and older dogs who need extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after cats, including those that needed help with medications and asthma treatment. Whether your pets like to walk and play or just need someone to hangout with while you’re gone, I can do it all. I will care for your beloved pets in your home and follow all your wants and needs! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m currently available any time Wednesday-Friday and on most Saturdays. I like to know all the details about your pets every day life so I can help keep their routines as normal as possible. Whether that includes certain times for feeding, walking, medications, etc. I also like to know if they are reactive, timid, or have any other quirks you want me to know about!

About: Having grown up in a family that had five dogs at once, I've gained extensive experience in pet care. It has taught me the importance of patience and love when it comes to looking after our furry friends, young and old. Additionally, I've often helped out friends by letting their dogs out and spending time with them when needed. I am capable of administering medication if applicable and friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, provide comfort, and overnight stays with their animals. My work schedule is pretty flexible right now. I am available for overnight stays preferably Friday-Sunday but I am willing to accommodate your needs. Just let me know! About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. You can rest assured your pups, big and small, will get all the love and attention while you’re away. I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday, but have three pups of my own at home and can board additional pups overnight during the week and can do daytime walks on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and keep your pets separated from my household pets unless they are long-time visitors and we know everyone gets along well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I can play with them, pick up after them, bathe them and make sure they’re happy and well fed. And I can take the dog on short or long walks and make sure they’re happy and safe. Also for house sitting I’ll make sure the house is clean and any messes the dog makes is cleaned up as well I’m a student at an online university, but I am taking a break from perusing my BS in forensic accounting. About: Animals have always been a major part of my life from cats to dogs to toads, I love them all. Over the years I have always had indoor cats and dogs in my care that have ranged in age from newborn to senior, energetic to unwell and everything in between. When I’m not caring for my pets or others, I’m a work from home artist and volunteer at the humane society as a foster and dog walker. Take comforting in knowing I would treat your best friend right. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I can do it all from big breeds, to small breeds; from happy breeds, to sad breeds. I’ve also got experience in tending to aggressive animals or animals who react out of fear so don’t worry! Growing up, I had an aggressive pup who people refused to come around and it made things hard on me, I want to give ALL pet parents a chance to feel safe knowing their aggressive or reactive dog is in good hands. I have 3 dogs of my own and can accommodate some animals in my home. However, I will need to have your animals formally meet mine before making that decision so that we don’t put anyone in harms way. About: I’ve stayed overnight with 4 dogs for 3 nights a few years back. I also own 2 cats (8 and almost 1) so i’ve experienced kitten energy recently. I work part time so I could pop in before and after my short shift! I can also spend the night for a few days. I think it’s important to trust their body language before anything else. I totally love petting and playing with animals but only when they approve of it.
