About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! They have definitely taught me patience, how to deal with a semi-reactive dogs, and has made me confident in my ability to care for large breeds. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds, big and small, timid and reactive. I’m experienced in handling high energy dogs, young puppies who are still learning, and older dogs who need extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after cats, including those that needed help with medications and asthma treatment. Whether your pets like to walk and play or just need someone to hangout with while you’re gone, I can do it all. I will care for your beloved pets in your home and follow all your wants and needs! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m currently available any time Wednesday-Friday and on most Saturdays. I like to know all the details about your pets every day life so I can help keep their routines as normal as possible. Whether that includes certain times for feeding, walking, medications, etc. I also like to know if they are reactive, timid, or have any other quirks you want me to know about!

About: For years my neighbors have relied on me to take care of their four dogs when they are away for weekend trips or even for trips that last over 2 months. Each one had their own personality and I was able to adapt to it and get along with them well. Over the years I have also had my own pets and have taken care of others. I have taken care of animals from cats, snakes, guinea pigs and most of all dogs. I am patient and contempt with taking care of dogs. In all, I've had a lot of experience with animals! I adore animals all the like and have had the best experiences taking care of lovely pets. I'm a part time worker but that's only on the weekends as I have night school. That leaves me plenty of time in the day during the week and weekends to check on your fur babies. I will be able to drop in later at night at around 9:30-11 p.m. If ever in emergencies, I have a fenced yard that is very very roomy for a dog who loves to run around and play outside. I am more than happy to drop into the clients home and even help clean and pick up after the place for comfortable living for their fur baby. I don't make messes and will no matter what pick up after myself. I will always address to the client in emergencies.

About: Animals have always been a major part of my life from cats to dogs to toads, I love them all. Over the years I have always had indoor cats and dogs in my care that have ranged in age from newborn to senior, energetic to unwell and everything in between. When I’m not caring for my pets or others, I’m a work from home artist and volunteer at the humane society as a foster and dog walker. Take comforting in knowing I would treat your best friend right. Currently I work from home as an artist (predominantly pet portraits) and can set my own schedule leaving me with ample availability for bit time or day and days throughout the week. I have a three acre yard with a large fenced in area, my dogs are extremely friendly and there is lake access that my own dogs use for swimming very often

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years now and I love all animals! I can do puppies all the way to senior pets and I have no problem with any breeds! I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! “Sterling was great! He always showed up within the given time window and gave my baby some love. I really appreciated the notes and pictures he’d leave on the Rover Card as well. Seeing that my kitty was being sociable and playing with his toys made me very happy. Also, I noticed in one of the pictures that Sterling took his shoes off in the house. I appreciated that SO MUCH because we are a shoes-off home to keep the floors clean. This booking was made because of a trip that was made on short notice, so Sterling being very easy to get in touch with made everything easy and worry-free. “Having a total care senior dog can be extremely stressful when planning a trip out of town. My dogs used to be road trip champs but unfortunately due to old age and one handicap, they have to stay behind. About: I have lived with and cared for animals my entire life, from cats to dogs to everything in between! I've trained my own dogs when they were young and give special attention and care to those furry friends who need it <3 I am currently home for the summer from college so I am free all day on weekends and can be available very early in the morning or after noon on weekdays. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.
