About: For years my neighbors have relied on me to take care of their four dogs when they are away for weekend trips or even for trips that last over 2 months. Each one had their own personality and I was able to adapt to it and get along with them well. Over the years I have also had my own pets and have taken care of others. I have taken care of animals from cats, snakes, guinea pigs and most of all dogs. I am patient and contempt with taking care of dogs. In all, I've had a lot of experience with animals! I adore animals all the like and have had the best experiences taking care of lovely pets. I'm a part time worker but that's only on the weekends as I have night school. That leaves me plenty of time in the day during the week and weekends to check on your fur babies. I will be able to drop in later at night at around 9:30-11 p.m. If ever in emergencies, I have a fenced yard that is very very roomy for a dog who loves to run around and play outside. I am more than happy to drop into the clients home and even help clean and pick up after the place for comfortable living for their fur baby. I don't make messes and will no matter what pick up after myself. I will always address to the client in emergencies.

About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! They have definitely taught me patience, how to deal with a semi-reactive dogs, and has made me confident in my ability to care for large breeds. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds, big and small, timid and reactive. I’m experienced in handling high energy dogs, young puppies who are still learning, and older dogs who need extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after cats, including those that needed help with medications and asthma treatment. Whether your pets like to walk and play or just need someone to hangout with while you’re gone, I can do it all. I will care for your beloved pets in your home and follow all your wants and needs! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m currently available any time Wednesday-Friday and on most Saturdays. I like to know all the details about your pets every day life so I can help keep their routines as normal as possible. Whether that includes certain times for feeding, walking, medications, etc. I also like to know if they are reactive, timid, or have any other quirks you want me to know about!

“Having a total care senior dog can be extremely stressful when planning a trip out of town. My dogs used to be road trip champs but unfortunately due to old age and one handicap, they have to stay behind. From the moment Mason came for a meet and greet both dogs greeted him and were calm and happy in their presence. Masons confidence and willingness to care for my total care senior dog was a relief. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life! I have gotten into pet sitting more this last year and people have trusted me to stay with their animals for a week or more at a time! I love helping others who needs someone to care for their pet while they are busy. I have very open availability throughout all days of the week so I am able to visit and care for animals as frequent or as long as you would like! In my clients home I always care for their pet using the instructions they give me. I can walk them as often as you’d like and feed them on a certain schedule if needed. My biggest concern is making sure my clients feel comfortable about leaving me with their pets.

About: I’ve stayed overnight with 4 dogs for 3 nights a few years back. I also own 2 cats (8 and almost 1) so i’ve experienced kitten energy recently. I work part time so I could pop in before and after my short shift! I can also spend the night for a few days. I think it’s important to trust their body language before anything else. I totally love petting and playing with animals but only when they approve of it.

About: I was raised around pets of every kind and fell in love with them all! I’ve been taking care of dogs especially since I was 12. I’m the go to for all my friends and family to walk and care for their dogs and cats. My house has the best doggie sleepovers! I hope I can be your go to for all pet needs as well. I’m at home full time. So I have a flexible schedule for walks, and check-ins. And if your pup stays over they will get plenty of attention! My pets are like family and while your fur baby is in my care they become family too. They will be showered with love and attention and lots of cuddles! Each animal is different, so I’ll be sure to accommodate to their play style and preferences to keep those tails wagging!

About: In 22 years, I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, horses, hedgehogs, etc, etc. I love all creatures of any shape, size, or temperament. I will adapt to your pets’ personality and boundaries and discover how to make them feel the most loved! I am taking college classes online, which means I entirely make my own schedule! Day or night, I will make time to love and care for your pet. I work 2 days a week and can often move my shifts around with advance notice. I always let the animal come to me first. The most important thing is to let them know that they can trust me, so that I can learn more about what they need to feel comfortable and cared for. I follow the lead of the pet, whether it be fast-paced walking, stopping to sniff every tree, or relaxing on the couch for an overnight stay. I’m very attentive to an animal’s communication and would love to build a trusting relationship with your pet.
