About: I’ve had pups of my own my whole life. I love all animals and want to make sure your other half is cared for! I work five days a week but I am allotted an hour everyday at lunch to go provide care to your furry friend! After work I will be able to let them out and get them out for exercise ! I always ensure that the animals care is met based on their specific needs, walks are very important and making sure they have ample time to get their energy out.
About: I have experience working at a kennel where I cared for many cats and dogs at once. I was responsible for walking, bathing and feeding these animals along with checking on them throughout the day to make sure they were comfortable and safe. My friends and family have always relied on me to watch any animals while they were away. I have also given medication for diabetic dogs. I’m currently a full-time employed teacher. During holidays I like to travel and sometimes will be out of town or out of state. During weekends I am available all day up until 10 pm. On vacation days if I am in your area I will be available all day! About: I’ve stayed overnight with 4 dogs for 3 nights a few years back. I also own 2 cats (8 and almost 1) so i’ve experienced kitten energy recently. I work part time so I could pop in before and after my short shift! I can also spend the night for a few days. I think it’s important to trust their body language before anything else. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.
