Mallory always shows up and is great at communication while we are out of town. One of our pups is not great at meeting new people but Mallory knew exactly how to meet her and now they are best friends. I was nervous to use a sitter who wasn’t family, but Mallory has taken great care of our dogs and cat and I’m never worried when we are away.
Kathryn was absolutely lovely! She was communicative, timely, honest, on top of things, clean, organized, friendly and most importantly… she really loved our pups! Our dogs can be high anxiety and with one being almost fifteen she’s very needy. Add in stormy weather making our yard a mud pit and Kathryn handled it all with grace. We came home to unstressed, happy dogs and a clean house which was extremely appreciate but also no surprise thanks to the updates we received during our time away. Highly recommend Kathryn!
Our cat Luna was a pandemic kitty and thus, has some separation anxiety, but Yasmina was super patient with him and got him to come out of his shell! It was our first time having someone house-sit but Yasmina sent pictures and video updates of Luna that eased our worries, and she left our place as clean as she found it! sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
