About: **I currently have two dogs of my own, but they stay at my partner's home if I am boarding your dog!** Hi! I’m a PhD student who has called St. Louis home for the past five years, and I’m currently in the final stages of writing my dissertation. The good news for your pets? I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. About: While my specialty is cats, I've also had a bit of experience with taking care of dogs. I recently started voulnteering at a local shelter to gain a bit more experience. I've also done some dog sitting for friends and neighbors. Currently, I don't have a traditional job so my schedule is super flexible. I'd be happy to take care of your fur babies any day of the week. I understand that cats have wildly different personalities and will do my best to make them feel comfortable while I'm around. I will spend time with them in whatever way they prefer, whether that's playing, petting or just existing quietly in the same space. With cats especially I do my best to be a calm and quiet presence and unless I have to give them medication or something where I have to get in their personal space, I usually let them come to me to reduce the risk of stressing them out.

We have a massive backyard surrounded by nature with endless room for pups to run and play! A quick note on safety: While our large yard is unfenced, your dog's safety is our absolute top priority. If your pup is a wanderer or loves to roam, we are fully prepared to take extra measures—such as using long training lines, continuous supervision, or structured outdoor play—to ensure they get plenty of freedom and exercise without compromising their safety. As the proud owner of two dogs myself, I completely understand the anxiety of leaving your furry family members. I treat every guest like my own and promise to keep your babies safe, happy, and loved in your absence!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
