I love all animals, even the ones people often forget about. I adore dogs and cats, I’m a cat momma right now to two adorable kitties! I love pitbulls, but all dogs will always have my heart! About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote.
