“She was fantastic with our very energetic German shepherd Lucian. She provided many pictures while we were away! We will definitely be having her look after Lucian on our next trip!”

“Keri and her daughter were very friendly and helpful with taking care of our cat for a week. The pictures were great to see and she was responsive in answering questions. We appreciated them and their service!”

“Lauren is amazing! She’s went above and beyond on her visits with our dog - taking her on walks, spending time with her to play, and taking extra care when she was being a picky eater. She kept us updated with pictures and notes and put our minds at ease. She even watered my flowers. She was a fabulous find, and we will definitely book again with her next time. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea was wonderful while we were out of town! Kept the litter boxes clean, and gave our kitty Plenty of love! Also went above and beyond helping bring in mail and some boxes that were delivered too”

“This was our second time with Alex, they did an excellent job with our kitty and my guinea pig! Our kitty is pretty shy but after a few visits she started to warm up to them. Now our kitty can get snuggles when we are gone, especially when she's picky on who she likes.”

“If you're seeking a respectful, trustworthy, responsive, caring, and compassionate pet sitter, look no further! Tiffany did an excellent job caring for my two labs over the holidays. She's earned my business from here on out! Thank you so much, Tiffany!!”
About: I've had cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I can bathe dogs and administer meds to both dogs and cats. Ive also had birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and a tortoise. I am fully devoted to taking care of animals fir the time being. My schedule is flexible. I understand plans come up last minute so short notice shouldn't be a problem! I am very interactive with animals as I believe this is how they feel loved. I will tend to any special needs they may have!
“Amber is amazing! I truly cannot thank her enough for how great she was taking care of my cat, Beans. He was pretty stressed when I left for vacation for a week and he wasn’t eating. After a few days, Amber took him to the vet and got him the care he needed. She is excellent with updates and communication. You can tell how much she cares. She really goes above and beyond expectations. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future and recommending her!”

About: Hi! My name is Ashley. I have a ton of experience with animals of all types. I am a stay at home mom, so I have open availability! My daughter has grown up around dogs and cats and even farm animals so she knows boundaries very well and is very respectful of animals. We would love to keep your fur babies! Just send me a message and we will see if I’m the right fit for your furry family member ☺️ We’ve recently moved to Collinsville and we have a huge backyard with a privacy fenced in yard! There’s tons of room for your dog to run around and there’s no fear in them escaping. When dogs are let outside I monitor them the entire time and stay outside with them to make sure they are safe! I care for other pets as if they were my own. I make sure they keep to their daily and night time schedules and I make sure each and every animal is loved on and cared for!

“Mae was extremely communicative and definitely went above and beyond when caring for my three kitties! They fed, played with, and made sure boxes were clean for my babies. My cats looked very happy in the photos they sent, which was much appreciated. I would definitely book again!”
“Kelly was so great with our anxious dog. She reassured me throughout the visit (and before haha). She took things slow with our dog and gave him his space. We are thankful to have her stop by on a weekly basis. Kelly also communicates very quickly and has good availability on her schedule!”

“Kelly was outstanding! I’ve used her dog sitting service multiple times and she’s always been terrific. Very flexible and very responsive. I’d recommend her 💯 to anyone.”

“Nicole was available on a days notice and despite being anxious about the drop ins because she and my dog had never met, she kept me informed during drop ins which helped ease my anxiety. Definitely plan to use her in the future.”

“Sterling was great! He always showed up within the given time window and gave my baby some love. I really appreciated the notes and pictures he’d leave on the Rover Card as well. Seeing that my kitty was being sociable and playing with his toys made me very happy. Also, I noticed in one of the pictures that Sterling took his shoes off in the house. I appreciated that SO MUCH because we are a shoes-off home to keep the floors clean. This booking was made because of a trip that was made on short notice, so Sterling being very easy to get in touch with made everything easy and worry-free. He was very personable and clearly knowledgeable about cats, so I felt safe leaving my furry baby with him. I would definitely recommend booking Sterling and I will be booking him again in the future! Thanks again!”

“Megan and Seth were awesome! Gave us consistent updates and even cleaned up for our return. Our dogs are all anxious with personality quirks but they managed to wrangle and befriend them all. We were so worried leaving them with a non family member, but we were comforted with their daily updates.”

“Heather is seriously the sweetest sitter ever! My dog loves her to pieces, she is wonderful with communication and sends rhe best photos. I highly, highly recommend her for any sittings you may need! She provides wonderful peace of mind while you are away on vacation!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Caseyville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
