“Wow. Communicative. Smart. Excellent with dogs. I am actually going to hire her for some dog training. She did a fabulous job. She know her dog stuff and is far more than a mere sitter.”

“Tyler did an awesome job taking care of Harry this weekend! He was attentive, communicated often, sent pictures and truly loved on our dog while we were away! We will be reaching out to him again!”

“Eliza was wonderful to work with and a total natural with animals. We were so impressed by her flexibility; when we realized we’d booked the wrong return date, she didn't hesitate to stay an extra night to ensure our dogs were safe and cared for. Highly recommended!”

About: I've been around animals as long as I can remember. There were cats and dogs in the house throughout my entire childhood. My pet-sitting experience comes from family and friends. I have cared for dogs (both large and small), cats, and the occasional fish. While I connect with most animals, big dogs are my specialty. Whenever I meet a big, energetic dog, people notice how they are with me. I work part time, so I should have plenty of time to care for pets. I can stop by in no longer than 5 hour increments if needed. I have a house with a dog and a cat. The yard is fenceless, but there is plenty of space to put a dog on a lead.
About: I have been rescuing and caring for cats & dogs since I was 17 years old. Pets have a special personality that takes a special personality to care for them. I am also familiar with & experienced with giving oral & injection medications I work for the local school district Aug - June so I have summers off. But I have the flexibility/availability to care for pets year round My 2 dogs and 2 cats are very well cared for. We have a fenced in yard. The cats are not allowed outside but all are chipped and protected with flea and tick treatments. They are fed twice a day with occasional treats and water 24/7.
“Adriana was willing to watch our dog overnight while our dog was recovering from a surgery. We were very grateful to find someone so compassionate on short notice over a holiday.”

“Maddelynn did a great job taking care of our dog while we were away! She was great to work with and very responsive. We appreciated the pictures she sent assuring us everything was going well. We would work with her again.”

“Michelle did pet sitting in my home for 7 days, caring for my two older cats and one rambunctious younger dog. She was professional and a good commuicator from the start (my booking on Rover, setting up an appointment to meet me and the pets, setting up an appointment to get the key). She was clear about her own schedule, when she was available to be in my home and when she was working or caring for her own pets (cats). She communicated with me daily (my dog was sick at one point) and sent photos of my pets while I was away. When I returned home, my home was pristine and my sheets had been washed and changed!!! I would highly recommend Michelle and did just pass on her name to a friend.”

About: I have worked with and loved many animals throughout my life; gaining experience by working with rescues, shelters and non-profit organizations benefiting dogs, cats and horses in Iowa and Virginia. I have also worked in the pet care industry my whole life. I was a Pet Groomer for 10 years, have worked closely with trainers, supervised daycare & boarding, and have spent the last 3 years in Veterinary Medicine as a Veterinary Assistant. I currently share my home with 3 dogs and a cat. I often care for my parents' dogs; one of which is Diabetic & has recently gone blind. Helping her learn to enjoy walks again has been a great experience! I have experience in most aspects of pet care; dog sitting, boarding, basic First Aid, administering oral & injectable medications, grooming and training, and know that each pet needs a unique, gentle approach. First and foremost I believe in making your pet comfortable by sticking to their (and your) schedule as much as possible. By keeping feeding, walking & potty times the same, I can provide and calm and happy presence for your pet through a positive attitude and relaxed demeanor. I also enjoy providing enrichment for you pet through play, walks, games and treats. Pet care is my life! I am available most every day to help you keep your pets happy and healthy, and to help them thrive in their own, comfortable environment. Keeping your pet safe is my number one priority. From making sure doors and gates are securely shut, to triple checking medicine before it’s given and using an additional slip lead for walks and transport, nothing goes unnoticed!

“Jada did a wonderful job watching my three pups for a week while I was out of town! The communication was on point and the photo updates of my babies were greatly appreciated. My favorite part was that she wasn’t afraid to ask questions instead of assuming things. Would definitely recommend Jada to anyone looking for a sitter that fills all the boxes!”

Tee did such a great job with our two labradoodles. They are not the easiest with their high energy but she took extra time to help train them with walking on a leash better. She was kind, responsive, and kept us updated daily with pictures and videos. Would highly recommend.

We are so grateful for the amazing care Kennedy gave to our dog. She stepped in last-minute over the long holiday weekend and went above and beyond. She even cleared a path in the deep, heavy snow so our dog could comfortably go outside. She communicated clearly about her schedule and how everything was going, gave our pup lots of love and attention, and we came home to a spotless house. We would highly recommend Kennedy to care for your pets if you have to be away!

I’m so grateful I tried Rover and found Ashley! When Ashley came over for a meet and greet, Jasmine immediately loved her! She is so kind, loving, and a personable. Ashley took the time to get to know Jasmine and asked great clarifying questions. I absolutely loved receiving sweet updates and photos when I was gone! I was not worried the entirety of my trip because I knew she had it covered!! Ashley was even sweet enough to clean, wash the bedding, and vacuum without being asked. Ashley’s genuine love for animals and her strong communication skills make her the perfect sitter! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so thankful for her and will absolutely book her again!!!!
