“Tyler has been absolutely amazing dog sitter! He kept us informed and sent us pictures our whole trip! It’s the best I have ever felt leaving my pups!! I would recommend him to anyone!! He also has an amazing fiancé who loved the pups as well! My dogs are going to miss them so much.”

“This was our first time using Meredith's services. She met with us twice and we were comfortable with her and her relationship with our dogs. When we were gone she kept us informed and sent photos of the dogs. Everything was taken care of in our home and the dogs were in good hands. Very responsible and couldn't recommend her more!”

“Michelle did pet sitting in my home for 7 days, caring for my two older cats and one rambunctious younger dog. She was professional and a good commuicator from the start (my booking on Rover, setting up an appointment to meet me and the pets, setting up an appointment to get the key). She was clear about her own schedule, when she was available to be in my home and when she was working or caring for her own pets (cats). She communicated with me daily (my dog was sick at one point) and sent photos of my pets while I was away. When I returned home, my home was pristine and my sheets had been washed and changed!!! I would highly recommend Michelle and did just pass on her name to a friend.”

“Mitchell is responsible, friendly, and takes excellent care of Josie. She loves him. Excellent communication, updates, photos. He left the house spotless. Highly recommended.”

“Adriana was willing to watch our dog overnight while our dog was recovering from a surgery. We were very grateful to find someone so compassionate on short notice over a holiday.”

“Maddelynn did a great job taking care of our dog while we were away! She was great to work with and very responsive. We appreciated the pictures she sent assuring us everything was going well. We would work with her again.”

About: I've been around animals as long as I can remember. There were cats and dogs in the house throughout my entire childhood. My pet-sitting experience comes from family and friends. I have cared for dogs (both large and small), cats, and the occasional fish. While I connect with most animals, big dogs are my specialty. Whenever I meet a big, energetic dog, people notice how they are with me. I work part time, so I should have plenty of time to care for pets. I can stop by in no longer than 5 hour increments if needed. I have a house with a dog and a cat. The yard is fenceless, but there is plenty of space to put a dog on a lead.
About: I’ve had pets and taken care of them since I was a kid. I have also taken care of the pets of friends and neighbors. Everyone I has been very happy with the care their fur babies received! I currently work from home and am flexible with my availability. I am available for drop in visits and walks throughout the day as well as more continuous care, depending on the situation. I can care for your pets in your home following your instructions to accomodate how you and your pets are most comfortable and the schedule they are used to while you’re away
About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs my entire life! I have/had several dogs of different breeds growing up! I also have watched and took care of different cats too! I had 2 cats of my own! I currently watch my neighbors dogs quite often! I am currently working a part time job currently at a daycare so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I do not have any pets in my home up here in Cedar Falls due to my realtor being allergic, but I make sure to give all animals lots of attention!
About: I have been rescuing and caring for cats & dogs since I was 17 years old. Pets have a special personality that takes a special personality to care for them. I am also familiar with & experienced with giving oral & injection medications I work for the local school district Aug - June so I have summers off. But I have the flexibility/availability to care for pets year round My 2 dogs and 2 cats are very well cared for. We have a fenced in yard. The cats are not allowed outside but all are chipped and protected with flea and tick treatments. They are fed twice a day with occasional treats and water 24/7.
“Eliza was professional, caring, reliable, responsible and I felt comfortable having her atay overnight while away. She took excellent care of Josie and sent many updates and photos. Highly recommended.”

About: I have 12 years experience in pet sitting and pet care. I have also owned over 8 dogs and 10 cats in my 24 years! My family and I have fostered every breed, age, personality of dog you could imagine. I am passionate about caring for these animals the way they deserve! I currently own a chocolate lab, a bloodhound, and a Shih Tzu along with 3 cats. I look forward to being of assistance to you while doing what I love most! I am currently working in the mornings Monday-Friday. I would love to fill the remaining hours and days with what I am passionate about; caring for all types of animals and helping out where I can! My dogs love to run free in my yard and they get along great with other dogs, however I am aware this is not the case with all dogs. I like to get a full briefing on the type of environment that you like for your dog to be apart of. I am easily adaptable and prioritize both you and your animals needs
About: I have had at least one dog in my home since I was born. I currently have a puppy and he is a blast. I love going on walks, playing at the park, or even taking pups for a swim. I have also working in a boarding facility and in large group play classes. I currently work part time and I am home every night by 5 pm. I come home on all of my breaks to check on my animals daily. Animals would never be alone for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. I have a very friendly puppy that loves making new friends and I have 3 cats that love to play. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have leads in the yard to allow dogs time to play outside, as well as extra harnesses and leashes to walk then every 2 to 4 hours. I do not like walking without a harness for the animlad safety and mine, I do have extra harnesses if needed.
“Jamie did great with our two dogs while we were gone for a night, they’ve never really been apart from us so it was an ease of mind to know she was there to keep them in routine and give them good company.”

About: For the past 3 years I’ve house and dog sat my brother’s dog while he’s out of town. The summer of 2024 I nanny’ed for a family that had a large dog I was to care for. I also baby sat for a home, family, and Great Dane for a while. I love doing so and am excited to get to love on other’s pets! I work at Lutheran Services in Iowa as a full time family support worker. I work 95% of my days at home, making it easy to house/dog sit throughout the day! Saturday and Sunday I am completely free! I typically provide over night care when watching pets. I’m able to stay home most of the day which makes it easy to care for pets throughout the day and into the night!

Tee-Tee went above and beyond. Truly. She took EXTRA steps to ensure my dogs were comfortable with her. More than I would have ever expected. And she’s so good with them! I swear they wanted to see her instead of me when I came home. 😂 In addition, she took excellent care of my home. I know that, when I need to be away again, I will have complete peace of mind with Tee-Tee in charge.

We are so grateful for the amazing care Kennedy gave to our dog. She stepped in last-minute over the long holiday weekend and went above and beyond. She even cleared a path in the deep, heavy snow so our dog could comfortably go outside. She communicated clearly about her schedule and how everything was going, gave our pup lots of love and attention, and we came home to a spotless house. We would highly recommend Kennedy to care for your pets if you have to be away!

I’m so grateful I tried Rover and found Ashley! When Ashley came over for a meet and greet, Jasmine immediately loved her! She is so kind, loving, and a personable. Ashley took the time to get to know Jasmine and asked great clarifying questions. I absolutely loved receiving sweet updates and photos when I was gone! I was not worried the entirety of my trip because I knew she had it covered!! Ashley was even sweet enough to clean, wash the bedding, and vacuum without being asked. Ashley’s genuine love for animals and her strong communication skills make her the perfect sitter! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m so thankful for her and will absolutely book her again!!!!
