“Dee Dee was amazing! My cats were total jerks and she went above and beyond to deal with them and their mess. She took excellent care of my kitties even when they objected. I will use her again….if she’ll have us.”

“I was delighted, my cats too, with Carolina! She was kind and thoughtful. Even my timid cat, Princess, came out to greet Caroline during our first ,meeting. She added many special touches. When I came home, I enjoyed her note and the chocolate candy covered in bright colors! She even washed all the plates and spoons used to feed my cats. Further, she washed out the empty cat food cans! The liter boxes were nicely cleaned out.. My cats told me they would very much like Caroline to take care of them again 😸😽”

“This was my first time hiring a sitter, and Anna came through with flying colors! She came right on time, took extra care with my diabetic kitty, and kept me up to date. I'm so grateful!”

“Hailey is a responsible pet sitter, she helped us a lot checking in on our two cats while we were away on a pretty long vacation. Recommend, and we’ll definitely consider her services again in the future.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!

“Jina went above and beyond taking care of my cat. She has the magic touch and was able to persuade my shy cat to come out of hiding and get brushed and cuddled. I highly recommend Jina!”

“Amy was absolutely amazing! She was really easy to communicate with, she gave us detailed updates on each visit. She was extremely caring and loving towards our kittens. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was taking care of them. Amy even brought in the mail and packages that were delivered. We plan on using Amy for any future trips.”

“Yashelle was wonderful, reliable, and responsive. We felt so much better knowing our cat was in caring hands while we were out of town, and appreciated the daily check-ins with photos and notes about his behavior. She will be our first call next time we need a sitter, and she should be your next call too!”

“Beth is very prompt and dependable. We will definitely be using her again in the future. She did a wonderful job watching our cats. She even gave one of our cat medicine which is no easy task!”

“Nicole has been an amazing sitter for us. She has taken wonderful care of Ollie on both occasions that we have needed her. Her updates are excellent. Thank you, Nicole, for another great sitting!”

About: I’m an experienced pet owner who’s cared for dogs, cats (including a mama cat with 7 kittens!), and even a chinchilla. I know how to give animals the love, attention, and care they need, and I’ll treat your pets like my own! I work full-time, however, I still have plenty of extra time each day to feed, love, and play with your pets before work and after work. Whether in your home or mine, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I provide fresh food and water, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I follow your pet’s routine closely, send updates and photos, and treat your home with respect. My goal is to give peace of mind while keeping tails wagging and purrs going strong.

“Best dog sitter weve had through rover! Always so great with our dogs! Sends awesome updates and photos and videos in which pups always look happy and well entertained. We feel very at ease when she’s watching our dogs and it makes traveling so much easier. Thank you!!”

About: I've been working with Rover for over 7 years now boarding, house sitting, and dog walking regularly and have gotten the chance to take care of many different dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I own a Lab-Belgium Malinois mix named Toby, so I am very comfortable caring for high energy pups of all ages. I am currently a hybrid employee, so I have flexibility to curl up on the couch with your pet, especially on Mondays and Fridays :) As I am currently limited to house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking, I tend to set up a meet and greet prior to services to determine requirements for the pets in the client’s home. This includes information about crating, whether the pet(s) are allowed to hang out in the back yard, what routine they have in terms of walks, etc.

“Katherine was awesome with our Tabby Trio and they quickly bonded - they love her! She provided short and sweet updates along with pictures. The Trio looks forward to seeing her again soon. 😻😻😻”

“Theresa was wonderful! She took great care of our kitties when we were away. Kept us updated with photos and descriptions of her visits. Very responsive via text/email. Will happily book again!”

About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. My schedule is very tight, so I do have to limit myself to the number of clients I take on. The more time advance a booking is offered, the more I will be able to adjust my schedule to meet those requirements. I care to the standards of the pet owners, and frequently send pics an updates as well as I ask questions when necessary. I also do my best to go above and beyond when i can!

About: ***Starting October 2025, I will be in Brookesville and too far away from work to come home during lunchtimes (not including holidays.) I'll only be able to watch dogs Thursdays PM - Sunday PM. Cats welcome anytime, just contact me and I can unblock my calendar for your booking. House sitting depending on location always available (references available.) Thank you! Hello All! I grew up with lots of dogs always in the house. Big and small I loved them all dearly and miss them. Would like to meet as many dogs (or any other animal!) as possible in my lifetime :) If your dog wants snuggles or long walks or both, I'd love to help. I foster dogs and rabbits, at which times I will be marked unavailable on my calendar since they need to be as comfortable as possible. Also, I don't take more than 1 dog at a time unless they are a pair from the same home. Experience with all size dogs, all ages and giving meds. I know the vets and emergency services around Gaithersburg well. Child free and smoke free household. *I won't use choke collars on any dogs (it's cruel.) If you have a dog w/ a choke collar I suggest getting a front hooking harness instead. Right now I work in the office 4 days a week. I work nearby so coming home to feed and take your fur baby out for walks during the day is very easy. I have a largeish 1 bdrm with a nice balcony and easy access to green space and a small park. Fur babies are allowed on the furniture and bed and will be treated like royalty.

About: I have two 5 y/o labradors , that should tell you everything, right? I have also had dogs for the majority of my life, different sizes. Working full time as a medical assistant at a laboratory, but available in the evenings. Weekend mornings too. Perfect time for a walk or play time. Being a dog mom myself, I’ll always be ready with anything your pup may want or need. Water, treats, an extra leash or even a belly rub.

About: We understand the stress of trying to find a place for your pup. We have teo dogs, Mocha (a miniature Schnauzer) and Luka (a mix Lab). Having dogs has given my kids the confidence to feel comfortable around pets and lately we have been sharing our love with other dogs that we have cared for. The day starts with a walk, feeding, a later stroll down to the park (to play outside-based on weather), afternoon feed and a later walk. But if you feel this is too much for your dog, don't worry, we adapt and do what your dog likes best....We will take care of your dog with diligence and plenty of love. We have plenty of love to give. Morning feeding and walk. Mid day snack and playtime (outside, if weather permits). In the afternoon, a walk or playtime (if weather permits) and evening ends with a feeding and a walk. Again, we adjust based on each dog's needs. We board pups in our home. We have a fenced yard for supervised playtime and we keep your pup with the same that they have in your home. They will be loved!

Laura T.
“Laura is one of the most responsible people I know. She has a gentle but firm spirit allowing her to give your pet the love it needs while also honoring your pet’s training. She and her brother kept my dog Jasper numerous times while in high school. He never liked spending time away from me but he didn’t seem to mind much when with Laura. He even gets so excited when he sees her now for a visit. As I do not have children of my own, my dogs are very much like my kids. It’s difficult for me to find sitters I trust to leave them with. However, I would not hesitate to entrust any of my animal’s lives with Laura. She is a trustworthy, loyal, and responsible individual!”

Bryan B.
“Bryan has been an integral part of our lives since 2014! I’ve had the pleasure of having him as both a coworker and friend these past 4 years and I cannot say enough about his incredible work ethic and endearing personality. He’s known in our industry for his organizational skills as well as his prompt and steadfast availability. Outside of our work, he’s been an incredible friend to my family (including, of course, our rescued racer, a greyhound named Hawke.) Bryan is one of the hardest workers I know and anyone would be remiss to not consider him to care for their, and their pets, needs.”
