“Jason did an incredible job caring for my 18 month old lab mix, Mehdi. He provided text and picture updates throughout the boarding and with the help of his dog Timber, kept Mehdi entertained and happy. It rained almost the entire time I was gone, so no dog park visits, but there was enough space for Mehdi and Timber to play inside. Jason constantly provided Mehdi with treats, rawhides, and peanut butter filled kongs. Mehdi has occasional seizures, and while thankfully he didn't have any while I was away, Jason made sure he was well educated about what to do should it happen, which helped ease my mind. I highly recommend Jason and his buddy, Timber for when you are out of town.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I've always been surrounded by animals and have developed a natural ability to care for them. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of animal behavior. I’m not only comfortable with dogs of all ages but also have experience handling puppies and providing senior dog care. I work from home, which allows me to give your pet my full attention throughout the day. With a flexible schedule, I'll be the one taking care of your pet personally, ensuring they get plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. We have a dog at home and an unfenced yard, but we're just one block away from a dog park, so your pet will have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exercise. If needed, we can crate our dog to ensure safety and comfort during your pet's visit. We always prioritize the well-being of all pets in our care and will adjust our home environment as needed to meet your pet's needs.

“As always, Lori and Kelly did a great job watching our two dogs. This was the longest they’ve stayed with Lori, and we got regular updates and photos. Our pups were well cared for. Highly recommend them!”

About: Hi! My name is Delaney and I live in the Riverside area. I grew up with dogs and have a 5 year old goldendoodle who is a great boy! I believe that dogs are part of the family and I treat them as such. I would be able to have your dog at my house (must get along with other dogs), stay with your pet or just stop by to let them out, walk, or play. I would give them all the walks, snuggles, and undivided attention they need to make them feel comfortable while you are away from them. I do work full time but I have time to let your pet out and care for them, especially on the weekends! I love going on walks and can easily fit your pets needs in my schedule. I have a large yard with an underground fence and my own dog at home. He is a very good boy. He has full range of my house but I can easily crate your dog or let them play!

“The stay was excellent. Great home and sitters. We were a bit concerned that our older and sometimes grumpy dog wouldn't get along with their dog Ivy. But Ivy was so relaxed and chill that it made the stay even better than we expected.”

“If we could rate more than 5 stars we would! It’s stressful leaving your pets behind while you go on a trip, but we knew they were in good care with the daily updates and photos we received. We would recommend them to anyone looking for pet care. Thanks Sydney and Michael!”

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old and have always considered myself a dog person. Caring for dogs has shaped my deep understanding of pet needs and behavior, making me especially attentive and compassionate as a sitter. I’m currently in school but only have class Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. My Monday and Fridays are completely free and am open to working Sunday's as well if need be. I provide plenty of care and affection to the dogs that come into my home. I want them to feel like it’s their own space and be happy and comfortable while their parents are away

“Danny was amazing with my dog. This was my first time using Rover, and my dog hasn't had much socialization, so I was worried how she'd do, but Danny sent me texts every day with her pics and assured me she was doing fine, which was a huge relief. She's also seems very kind and patient with dogs. I heartily recommend her!”

“They took really good care of Peach while we were out of town. I enjoyed the pictures and texts. She was really happy and well loved. We do not travel often, but will definitely use again.”
