“Lidia was so wonderful with my two pups. This was the first time we left them home without someone from the family and they did so well. Lidia sent me photos and messages everyday and paid special attention to the little details. Would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a responsible and loving sitter.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ivy, who stayed overnight with our two Bernese Mountain Dog pups. She was incredibly attentive, engaging them with playtime and making sure they were comfortable and happy throughout her stay. Ivy provided regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Above all, she was professional, polite, and courteous. We highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.”

About: I have had a pet by my side since the day I was born. Pets are family and they deserve to be treated as such. Specifically, I have cared for other pets the last 7 years; feeding and cleaning fish tanks, overnight stays combined with daily dog walks and changing cat litter and cleaning their coats. To care for other's pets is a privilege that I do not take lightly, there is trust and commitment needed. I want to allow individuals to feel comfortable that their pet is cared for in times when they are unable to do so themselves. Above all else if a pet needs care, I want to provide them with a friendly face, playful affect and calm presence to ensure successful care treatment. I am currently working a full-time job that requires me to work 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. I occasionally work 1 day of the weekend and will provide full schedule is a service is requested. I will provide open and honest communication with client and maintain a flexible schedule outside of work hours. Currently I am unable to board pets in my home. It is something I hope can happen later in life at a different residence. In the client's home, I will care for their pet as they would like me to, ultimately wanting the pet to maintain their normal schedule as best as possible.
“Christy was wonderful. She watched our dogs in our home and took them on nice walks everyday. She was great at communicating and sent us pictures frequently. My house was spotless when I returned. I highly recommend Christy and I will definitely use her again.”

If you’re looking for someone to care for your dog, you’ve found the place. Im a direct support precessional with a relatively flexible schedule. I live in Suffern, NY. I like to pet sit/walk dogs when I have free time. I provide food, water and a comfortable place for your fur-babies to sleep. I crate my dog and will crate upon request. I can administer medications as needed as well.

“Great service! Brad is an excellent communicator, and took great care of our dog and home. He kept me up to date and was always fast to reply. Our house was spotless when we returned and he was very tidy (which was also important to us).”

“Breanna was very responsive and took great care of Fitz. He is shy and cautious by nature, but seemed very comfortable and happy in the photos and when I returned. I think he had a great time!”

“Christine was fantastic!! I knew my kitty was in good care with her. I could tell my kitty was happy and well cared for. Christine jumped in at the last minute to replace a sitter we had a bad experience with, and she followed every instruction, was very communicative, and bonded well with my kitty. Will definitely book her again.”

“Susan took the best care of our 14 year old Boston terrier Tootsie while we were away for the weekend. She is so communicative, kind, and Tootsie absolutely loved her!! Can’t recommend her enough :) we will definitely be booking with her again in the future!!”
About: I’ve been taking care of pets my entire life, and my family and friends look to me if they need me to dog sit (or pet sit) when they’re away or unavailable. I live in a family home with my dog daisy, who is very friendly and about 14 years old now. She never fails to be entertained, and I love her with all my heart. I will do the same for your pets :)

About: I’m a long-time cat and dog owner with experience caring for friends’ and families’ pets as well. I have lots of free time and flexible availability. I currently work part-time where I choose my own hours! I’m looking forward to using my free time to care for your pets and give them my full attention. I will care for your pets in whichever way best works for you. About: New to Rover, but not to pets! I’m offering an introductory rate while I build up my reviews on the platform. See my background in professional pet care below! I bring over three years of professional experience from multiple dog boarding and daycare facilities, in addition to living with my own furry family members since childhood. This background gives me both the technical skills to handle logistics - from managing high-energy playgroups to following strict feeding, and cleaning protocols - and the genuine heart to treat every guest like one of my own. My time at D.A.R.G. (Domestic Animal Rescue Group) in South Africa further sharpened my ability to connect with animals from all walks of life. Special Skills: Medical & Senior Care: I am comfortable and experienced in administering medications. Behavioral Awareness: Having worked with challenging temperaments and diverse energy levels, I know how to read body language and provide the right environment for shy, reactive, or high-energy pets. Cat Specialist: I understand that cats are unique. I approach them with patience and respect - always on their terms - ensuring they feel secure in their own space. Training Basics: I can reinforce basic commands and maintain the structure you’ve already established for your pet. ✨ Why Pet Owners Choose Me • Experienced with both dogs and cats • Comfortable with a wide range of personalities and behaviors • Patient and attentive - great with shy, energetic, or more sensitive pets • Able to administer medications if needed • Reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented • You’ll always receive updates and photos! 📸 Pet care is a consistent part of my daily life. Whether I’m caring for my own pets or helping out friends, I prioritize routine and reliability. My current schedule allows me the flexibility to provide dedicated check-ins, walks, and attentive overnight care. Because I’m used to the fast-paced environment of professional daycares, I’m excellent at time management and ensuring every "potty break" and meal happens right on time. My priority is making sure your pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same respect I show your pets. My Safety Protocol: Detailed Updates: You’ll receive regular updates with photos and videos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. Routine-Focused: I mirror your pet's existing schedule to minimize any "vacation anxiety." Attentive & Alert: My background in professional boarding has trained me to be hyper-aware of environmental hazards and subtle changes in a pet's behavior or health. Calm Presence: I provide a peaceful environment for more sensitive animals while offering fun, active engagement for those who need to burn off energy.
