About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved them! Then I got 2 cats as an adult, who are my babies. I also have experience with inter-animal conflict in the home (e.g., pets needing to be kept separate) I work a pretty flexible job from home, so I can be available almost any time of day to take care of and hang out with your pets! I will happily follow any provided instructions regarding your pet’s care. I generally like to let the animal lead our interaction to make them comfortable as well, which I find works well for those that are a little skittish.

About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats through personal pet ownership, animal shelter volunteering, fostering, and pet sitting for friends and family. During my undergraduate years, I spent several years volunteering at animal shelters and fostering animals with a wide range of ages, personalities, and care needs. I've cared for young puppies, kittens, adult cats, senior dogs, and older rescues who were still learning potty-training routines. Through these experiences, I've become comfortable working with shy, nervous, and anxious animals, as well as dogs who need extra patience on walks or tend to pull on the leash. One of the biggest things fostering has taught me is that every animal is different. Some pets want to play all day, while others prefer quiet company or need a little extra time to warm up. I love getting to know each pet individually and making sure they receive the attention, patience, and affection that works best for them! I'm currently a graduate student at UW-Madison, and one of the best parts of my schedule is that my lab allows me very flexible hours! This gives me plenty of freedom throughout the week to work around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Since I'm not tied to a traditional 9 to 5 schedule, I can make time for dog walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight house sitting. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, your kitten wants some extra playtime, or your furry friend just needs someone to keep them company while you're away, I'm happy to help! I also have a 4 year old rescue dog of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime, and spending quality time with animals are already part of my everyday routine. I'm available most days and am happy to coordinate around your pet's usual schedule. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially those who are younger, older, or a little anxious, and I'll do my best to keep their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible. I have lots of experience with both cats and dogs, they've always been part of my family growing up. I've cared for senior dogs, including giving shots, daily oral medication, and following specific feeding schedules and exercise routines. I also regularly watch high energy large dogs as well as smaller dogs. I always try to mimic each pet's normal routine so they don't feel like they're with someone new, my goal is for them to feel like they're just having a normal day, with maybe a little extra fun! I work in behavioral health care with a schedule of 8–4, and I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to do midday check-ins on your pets if needed! I'm also available to stay for longer periods at your home to provide care. During the week, I can stop by before or after work, and I'm flexible anytime on weekends. Safety and routine come first, whether I'm in my own home or yours. I keep feeding schedules, medications, and habits consistent so pets feel secure. I'm experienced with oral, topical, and syringe medication, chronic conditions like arthritis and hyperthyroidism, and keeping escape prone pets safely inside. I also respect each pet's boundaries, aiming to help them feel as comfortable as they would with their own owner! :)

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years and have experience with dogs, cats, farm animals, and wildlife. My professional animal care experience began as a teenager working at Pine Ridge Pet Resort, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing safe, attentive care in both boarding and daycare settings. Since then, animal care has remained a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets, including administering multiple oral medications, insulin injections, and providing extra support for aging dogs with changing mobility and health needs. I also have experience giving medication to cats and caring for puppies. In addition to domestic pet care, I worked at a wildlife rescue center where I assisted with first aid, fluid administration, and hands-on care for injured animals. That experience strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and compassionate in high-stress situations. I work 40h each week Monday through Friday, so I am mainly available on the weekends only for now. I am getting married in a year & have 2 degrees, so I have both debt and savings to add to. I am hoping to help care for pets & put every cent earned on Rover towards my debt In my home, I have a full house of 2 dogs and 2 cats. They all get along great, but my senior dog, Daisy, doesn't get along with dogs that don't live with her. Therefore, my home is not available currently for pet sitting, but I am familiar with pet sitting for others in their homes in order to assure their pets feel safe. In my home, I feed 2x/day in an 8 hour period and walk my dogs every 3-4 hours. When it comes to other people's pets, I am open to whatever care routine your animals are used to. No matter how many steps are involved, I can do anything you need done, and I will do it with a smile on my face. I will also respect any and all boundaries in your home and only go in the designated pet areas. I have had multiple people require I stay out of certain rooms, and it has never been an issue. I am deeply appreciative of the trust I am given when caring for pets, so I won't take it for granted by disrespecting your home or boundaries.

About: Hi! I’m currently a graduate student at UW–Madison and looking for some pet-sitting opportunities—especially with dogs! I’ve been dog-sitting for about 6 years, primarily for friends, family, and referrals. Since moving to Madison last year, I’ve been excited to meet some new pups in the area! I grew up with Labradors and a Yorkie, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I really miss my dog back home, so I love any opportunity to spend time with furry friends here in Madison. Whether it’s walks, playtime, overnight stays, or cozy couch hangouts, I’ll treat your pets like my own. Weekends are generally preferred since I have the most availability then, but I’m also open to weekday opportunities if they can work around my class schedule, especially during the summer when my schedule is a bit more flexible. I’m also relatively new to Rover and currently working on building my clientele in the Madison area, so I’d love the opportunity to provide excellent care for your pets! 🐾 My weekends are when I have the largest availability as I am a full-time graduate student. Pet sitting Thursday-Sunday or Monday is my ideal timeline but I am definitely open to week long care if I am able to make it work with my class schedule. I would prefer to watch the dog in your home as I rent my current home and it does not allow animals. However, when at your home I will make sure your pup is always happy and all of their needs are met. In terms of safety, I will always have them on a leash or in a gated area when needed.

I don’t have a dog myself yet, so I’ll love and care for your pup as though they are my own! I work full-time, so I am outside of the home 8+ hours on weekdays. I can provide care in the morning before work and in the evening after work, and on weekends. I am available most holidays as well. I make sure to earn the trust of every animal I work with, which includes respecting their boundaries as we are getting to know each other.
